If you ask for a food recommendation in Walla Walla, they tell you to go to Bomb Taco, and for good reason. These tacos are awesome. My tacos were cooked next to some enchiladas and got some of the enchilada spice on them. They are exactly what you think of when you think "taco truck", and they also have a small tent with benches if you want to sit down and enjoy. There are sauces in a fridge by the truck. The green sauce has a good jalapeño flavor, and the red sauce is SPICY. Dip a finger in before you go too crazy with it. Highly recommend Bomb Taco as a place to grab a quick bite. read more

I have been in a mission to try all of the "top" taco places around Walla Walla and this one takes the cake even though it's quite a bit out of town. The tacos are smaller than other places but they are still worth it! Their asada tacos and chicken tacos are "bomb"! In my opinion, the next best is La Monarca, another taco truck in Walla Walla off of Rose. Bomb Tacos definitely doesn't look like much but it is ABSOLUTELY worth a try!! The meat portions are small for $2.50 per taco. Flavor is just so so... however, variety is there. They offered lungua, el pastor, and the other standard lime carnitas, pollo, asada. Given the limited availability of opened restaurants in the area, it is probably why it received so many previously raved reviews. Personally, I found the Chevon gas station "no named" sandwich place (in Touchet) served better Mexican food (tacos) and at much cheaper prices and in larger portions for the meat. I used to really like this place, but as of July 2020, they've increased their prices, so it's getting kind of expensive and quality has gone down from some of the earlier photos (ie., no radishes, etc). We stopped by today and ordered 3 tacos and 4 tacos for two different people. We left and luckily we didn't drive all the way home, b/c one order only had 2 tacos. Then they put the wrong hot sauce in. I also asked for just a small amount of ice in the horchata ($3) and got a cup with 60% ice. I'd like to see what you'd get otherwise. I called them to try to explain the problem with the missing tacos before returning, and the women kept thinking I was ordering tacos. It was super frustrating since one of the big problems is that the people who work there speak so little English (or no English) that they seem to have no idea what the customer is saying. So we had to go back... to get the other food and hot sauce and there was no apology or anything extra for our trouble. We probably won't go back since there were so many multiple screw-ups associated with one order. read more

Stopped into Bomb Taco after biking to wineries on the South side of Walla Walla and we were pleasantly surprised with how good they were. The veggie tacos were very flavorful and the pastor was one of the better ones that we have had. I would skip the chicken if we were to go again as it didn't have quite as much flavor as the others. There are not a whole lot of food options in the area for lunch, but glad that Bomb Taco is around; it is definitely worth the stop! read more

Super tasty tacos! They are $1.25 now not $1 but worth it. The Pastor was $1.75 and very tasty with a hint of pineapple and lots of grilled onions with beef. Green sauce was delicious and spicy.
