It was clean and we got seated right when we walked in. The chicken and carne asada was great. The chicken taquito good. The enchilada was meh. The jalapeño poppers... what? No thanks. I tried one and it was not hot and not my idea of a good time. For 2 meals and 2 beers, it was about $100. It was just an okay experience for me and I personally wouldn't need a repeat and would look at other options when in the area next.

I moved to Walla Walla about 4 years ago and have only been going to El Sombrero off of 2nd Ave. and spots like Taqueria Yungapeti and Mi Pueblito. But for some reason, this restaurant just feels like the better Mexican restaurant to dine in. It has better tasting food and bigger portion sizes than El Sombrero. The service was super friendly and the ambiance just felt nice. My only harp--and it's the only reason I knocked off one star--was that it took forever for the waiter to bring our check and I found myself asking for my water cup to be refilled a couple of times. But overall, this restaurant is a hidden gem and I highly recommend you give this resto a try.

The green sauce has a good jalapeño flavor, and the red sauce is SPICY. Dip a finger in before you go too crazy with it. Highly recommend Bomb Taco as a place to grab a quick bite.

Also, they now accept debit/credit card through Square so if you don't have cash, you'll be fine! After reading other reviews saying to bring cash only, this looks like a fairly new option.
