Stopped in on a recent road-trip with our grandsons and we loved this place. Physically the restaurant was beautiful inside and very clean. The food and service were a home run as well. We will be back next time we are in the area! read more

I purchased a large salsa two weeks ago. When I picked it up the gentleman that helped me explained that they now charge a $1.50 for the bag that the items go in. He also said that because I was just purchasing salsa he wouldn't charge me. Today my husband went to purchase the salsa again and was charged $1.50 extra. When I called to find out about the extra charge I was told that it is now a surcharge. I paid $1.50 for a ten cent white lunch sized bag. I will not be buying anything from this restaurant again. Very disappointed in the service. I would happily take my salsa without a lunch bag! read more

Great service even better atmosphere. Hopefully will be back soon - had the special tacos and they were fantastic read more

It is 93 degrees on July 1 and this restaurant refused that my 16 year old dog could come into the restaurant. They said he would have to wait in the car. That would have killed him. DO NOT GO TO THIS RESTAURANT. The greeter snootily said, "He won't die in the car" There was only one other patron in this place. It was 1530. We were traveling. We couldn't go home. Otherwise we would have. I told the greeter that I chose my dog over his restaurant. I TRULY hope this place gets shut down. Rating ?? Minus 1000. read more

I love Mazatlan! Eat here almost once a week. Great food. Great people. Fantastic salsa!

Great food, great service and the restaurant was very clean and nice. Don't pass this place up!

The food is on point - every time. The service is top notch and the servers are super friendly. We eat here at least a couple of times a month. Best Mexican Restaurant in the Rogue Valley in my opinion. So glad to have them back in Central Point. read more

Very good food. Nice clean atmosphere. Drinks great. Staff nice. Salsa great. All around fantastic.

Great food and friendly service. The salsa is great too. I highly recommend for a good Texmex meal.

I went to Mazatlan Grill for a double birthday party with 5 of my friends. The food was so good and the service was excellent! I can't wait to go there again. read more

SO happy we found this place!!! We just moved into the area in 2/2023 and were in search of great Mexican food place...and Mazatlan Grill delivered! Not only in amazing food and atmosphere, but the service was outstanding...wanted to give a big shout out to Mercedes, our waitress, who went out of her way to make sure our special dietary needs could be met. She was attentive and so friendly and made our dining experience that much better!! We cannot wait to go back! read more

The food was excellent! We were served a basket of warm chips, delicious salsa, and beans upon being seated. I had the cheese enchiladas, excellent. Hubby had the chili Verde, excellent. If you happen to be staying at the Southern Oregon RVPark, this is the place to go. read more

We were big fans of the old Mazatlan Grill and greatly anticipated the new version. The first time we came with friends. Food and service were good, but the restaurant is very noisy, which was further compounded by a young child nearby who screamed throughout our meal. The parents did nothing until we were leaving, when they brought the child outside. The restaurant did nothing. Okay, this happens sometimes. So we tried again at lunch today. The service was okay, the food was quite good. But the noise! My husband couldn't hear what I was saying. And now he doesn't want to go back. Please, Mazatlan Grill, put in some sound-absorbing materials on the walls, or something. read more

Stopped in for lunch and the service was great! Brought us waters, warm chips, salsa, and bean dip as soon as we sat down, always a good starting point when that happens The Margaritas were delicious we ordered fajitas and The hot steamy platter of steak and shrimp tasted as good as it smelled! The restaurant has a big bar and plenty of seating. Very friendly staff! read more

Absolutely delicious. Great service and the place is spotless which is very important to me, and the servings are huge. If you're in the Medford area I suggest you give them a try. We did and not disappointed at all. read more

Excellent food, service, and atmosphere. Full bar with great strawberry margaritas. Best Mexican food in Southern Oregon.

This place is in the middle of nowhere, in a strip mall and if it wasn't for the high reviews by my fellow Yelpers, I would probably not consider it. Boy, would I have been wrong. Atmosphere and design feels authentic and all the staff was speaking Spanish to each other. That is encouraging. I could hear some Spanish coming from the kitchen which was even more encouraging. This is not "Americanized" joint, this is legit, Jose! By now, you can guess that me and my family were more than happy with the food. The sangria was delish as well. I live too far away, but if you are nearby or just passing through, make sure to stop by. read more

Wonderful service most of the time, huge food portions but delicious, definitely bring someone to share food with or come hungry, beautiful ambiance, modern bohemian vibes with a Spanish flare. 10/10 would eat here again! read more

Gave this place another shot. Dry as dust chili verde burrito . Food was room temperature and we only live a 1/4 mile from their new spot. Nope to going here again. OH and thanks for the bayleaf in my burrito, sarcasm. Sadly I have given this place more than 2 shots at redemption. My wife's women's group were also dissatisfied. read more

Where to start let's address the only "problem" first . Most people now days don't understand good food is not fast and fast food is not good! Expect to enjoy the conversation with your guest while you wait for your good food! Staff is friendly and responsive! Drinks are good the wife and I both ordered different shrimp meals and an appetizer (a meal by its self) I am a sea food guy so I have high expectations. Let's just say they were surpassed! Would I return or recommend? % yes! read more

A huge shout out to the staff at Mazatlan Grill in Central Point! We have been there a few times and each time they have been over the top accommodating for my husband's diet needs. They are very attentive and make you feel like you are family. The food is always amazing and flavorful, to the point you could overindulge if you did not watch yourself. The food portions are very satisfying, and with the rise of prices to go out and eat, you get more than your money's worth. We were very sad when they had closed a few years back, yet they have returned even better than before. It has once again become our favorite place to eat and are never disappointed. Thank you all who work very hard to make our experiences worth coming back. You are much appreciated. read more

We stopped in based on great reviews and were not disappointed. Salsa and chips were excellent. My husband ordered a veggie burrito without the tortilla and double pinto beans instead of rice. Our server was fine with that. The portion was good. I nibbled on that and chips with salsa as I wasn't really hungry. I also took a phone call outside and my husband had his plate half emptied by the time I returned so I snapped a shot of a neighboring table that is more representative. This is a darling place with delicious food. Perfectly easily to jump off the freeway on a road trip. If I lived nearby I would come backCheck out the pics people have posted for more detail! read more

Great food! Great service! Beautiful decor! A great place to end the day after a long drive!

This place was great! I was visiting from California and was definitely suspicious of its authenticity, but it meet and exceeded my expectations. The service was great, servers and staff were friendly and very helpful. The wait was short, the food was served promptly while during the short wait our waters were always filled and chips and salsa constantly replenished. The food was good as well. I got the enchilada and taco and it was great! The taco shell was made in house, perfectly crispy and the Chicken was very well seasoned, especially with a little of their house made salsa! The cheese enchilada was flavorful and the beans and rice were quite tasty. I would definitely recommend this place if you're in southern Oregon looking for some good Mexican food!! read more

Hands down the best Mexican restaurant in the valley. And that's saying a lot with how many great spots that there are. But the service, atmosphere, margaritas and food are all off the hook at this place. I've been going 2-3 times a week for months now and will definitely be going again soon. read more

Finally was able to try the restaurant. Well designed and decorated. Food was way above the valley standard. Very well executed! Just wanted you to know. read more

Very good service and fun waitress and the food looked great and was very tasty will be going back

I have heard from a co workers that I should give this place a try. So dropped in about 6pm on Saturday with a few friends. It was pretty busy, but we got a booth. Ordered our food and margaritas. Chips and Salsa were good as was service, even though it seemed like only one guy waiting the entire section, but he was good for being so busy. My pork burrito was good too. I was very happy we got there when we did, because right as we got our food, two groups of people showed up in parties of 8-10 for each table and still only one waiter. So just be aware the place can fill up fast. But make sense, when food is good and and prices are too. read more

First time going here, I would of given this place 3-4 maybe even 5 stars. Ok first we a party of 5 was seated very quickly. Ok not bad. An older server with a white mustache was our waiter ok so far so good. Took our drink orders my friend and I had ice tea she had a peach one, my two male friends had coke and my husband asked for a Pepsi, but the older waiter said coke? My hubby said no Pepsi. Then our waiter said sir we only have coke, my Hubbys said that would be fine. Ok still everything is ok, we got our chips and salsa and my friend she asked for some beans with cheese and asked if I would like some without cheese I said yes that would be fine, (btw we never got them) so our drinks arrive as he was handing them out he said to me and my feamale friend for the señorita's, and he handed the other two drinks to the other two males and said for the gentleman but when he handed my husband his drink he Said "for the little man" I was shocked and then angry, granted my husband is not tall in height but still, I could tell my husband was not too happy about the comment. Well after a long wait we ran out of chips and asked for some more (never got them) and my feamale friend she wanted another peach tea and the rest of the group wanted re fills too, so my male friend waved to a woman who was cleaning some tables and came over and was told another peach tea and some more sodas, she came back and my feamale friend said no a peach tea, the woman looked confused and left and went back to setting the tables. Then our food arrived and with some more drinks, the food is great the service was awful and insulting. And that's why I won't go back. And I have read the other reviews and this seems to be a problem here, you need better customer service, the table behind us got way more attention then we did maybe bc they were Hispanic and we were not. Also if our older server thought he was being funny by saying "for the little man" he was not very funny. Poor customer service will kill your business, you can have the best food there but your front of house will destroy your business, remember when I started this review I said it was our first time, and because of your staff it's our last. It's sad because I enjoyed the food but your staff killed it for me and my husband. read more

We were on our way home and spending the night in Medford before our flight. We had eaten here once before and really enjoyed or visit, so we returned for another experience! The establishment was, as expected, crowded on a Saturday night. We were seated and waited on right away without delay and the staff were friendly. I had the Carnitas de Pollo and the chicken is grilled and was outstanding. My wife had the enchilada plate and they were made spot on. Honestly, we would compare this place to any of our favorites in Tucson or Phoenix and it would be right near the top. If you're in the Medford, OR area, you'll have to stop by. You won't be disappointed! read more

I've had two really legit business lunches here. Festive and friendly - sat in booths within the restaurant. Great, efficient staff. Heard singing among the workers at one point during my meal. Cute. Genuine Americanized Mexican Fare. $7.95 Lunch specials are solid - good sized portion. The servers check in with you, the right amount of times. Comfortable. read more
