This time I needed frames as well. For a pair of expensive frames and the identical lenses, I was charged $900. I was also told if I wanted a second pair using Mr frames ( it was not realized be the optician this as my second pair). The charge would be $300. Let me see! $300 or $1,100. I think $300 for the identical lenses as the $1,100.

I was given a quality exam where I felt that Dr. Schrier took his time and explained every result and available option. I spoke to Paul during the purchase and listened to his suggestions and reasoning for different types of eyewear. Everything turned out great and they actually followed up and made sure that I was seeing properly afterwards. I'm glad that I made the change and look forward to my yearly exam.

The glass is thicker. than then the old glasses and I see lights reflecting from cars that run around the outside of the frame and I should pay $120 for some anti-glare protection. which is extra and I'm already on a fixed income on disability. and I don't believe for a minute that'll fix the problem because the reflection is coming from behind me and the glasses are bigger than my old ones. The bifocal is only a tiny little thing on the glasses, which is another problem and they will do nothing to help me other than charging me more money. I will never use them again

When she was finally able to pick them up, they used A PAPERTOWEL to clean her glasses. Anyone who has ever owned glasses knows you are not supposed to use paper towels to clean them. They also BENT her glasses without using a frame warmer, which could have caused them to break. They placed the glasses on the counter and said they were straight, meanwhile everyone knows it's not how they lay on the counter, it's how they sit on your face. We are trying to find the number to a corporate site to complain, but nothing comes up when you google them. DO NOT GO HERE. But this review isn't about how much I appreciate Dr. Marcus and Megan (who helps me with my complicated insurance issues). This review is about the office staff. They've got a few locations around Suffolk and I went to this location yesterday. I had to also bring my 2 year old son with me, so I was nervous about how things would go. He ended up being well behaved but a big part of that goes to the help I got from the receptionists, technicians and office staff. They were friendly and chatted with him with every interaction (many people simply ignore kids). They also let me walk him around the lobby while I waited to be seen. That helped keep him interested the whole time and he even enjoyed himself! Though, maybe it's because I have him one of their lollipops at the end of the visit.
