Eventually, he shipped the computer back to me without my permission, and it arrived with the stand broken and the fan still unfixed. He said he would come fix it once the new fan came in, but after waiting over a month with no resolution, I finally gave up and ordered the fan and a new stand myself and had someone else complete the repairs. Went to the Genius Bar at Apple and they couldn't do anything nor backup my data. Instead told me I needed to buy a new computer and lose all data.
