For over a year, the screen had to be opened where you wanted it before you turned it on because if you moved the machine virtually at all and the screen jiggled it would lock up, necessitating a restart. Then, suddenly, it refused to boot up in any screen position. I brought it to PC Werx. The gentleman who came out to look at it plugged in a separate monitor and talked with me about his concerns and let me make the decision to not invest any more money in this one because the repair could easily be more expensive than the residual value of the machine. When he asked me if there was information on it that I needed to keep, that was a no, so, there was no urgent need to do anything with it. He mentioned a retailer that he has had good experience with and that happened to be where I buy virtually all computer related hardware, we shook hands and he said thank you. I mean, I'm sure he could have repaired my machine, but he gently let me know his suggestion is to spend my money on something that I'd get better service out of rather than into the one I've worn out.

Eventually, he shipped the computer back to me without my permission, and it arrived with the stand broken and the fan still unfixed. WORSE COMPANY! I placed an order on 9/3 for an A frame. The order doesn't show up Monday, Tuesday and then at end of day Wednesday I get an email saying my order never went through and to call in. I called in and speak with Office Depots Sri Lanka call center, which is A HORRIBLE experience. People BARELY speaking English and most of the time you can't understand them so they apologize over and over and over and over. It seems like that's the ONLY thing their call center is capable of doing, apologizing non stop. I was transferred to 4 different people and had to explain my situation every single time with them apologizing and telling me that they can't help me. I asked the first phone agent to speak to a supervisor or manager to which he said there are none there right now but management should be available in a few hours. He kept wanting to disconnect the call and have someone call me back when management gets in the office. I instantly knew he was a LIAR! Why would a USA company who is outsourcing their phone center to India, not have management during USA business hours. That it's not up to Office Depot to confirm payment was received.
