Some friends who live in the area come here often - it's one of their favorite places. I was surprised at how spacious it was inside, including event space, a large, attractive bar, and tall windows with a view to the water. There's a great water feature as well, and an open kitchen. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We ordered a mix of lunch and breakfast items. The pesto pasta was delicious. The fish and chips were well done also. The only complaint was from those who ordered breakfast as they butter came out cold and did not melt on their pancakes or waffles. Not optimum as far as that went. Otherwise, a nice experience. And really not incredibly pricey, relatively speaking.

    Appetizer: Beef Diablo. Perfectly spicy.

We went for our anniversary dinner and this place never disappoints! From the appetizers to dessert and my dirty martini, I wanted more! Service is always fast and friendly. The owner stopped by our table and said hi which is always a nice touch. The restaurant is beautiful with an open kitchen but you can't beat the view! Whether your looking for a special occasion or a nightly meal you should check them out. Is it worth the drive?...yes!

Galentine's dinner was very pleasant, enjoying the ambiance of Maynard's!! A very nice restaurant in Silverdale, serving fine dining. The staff was very pleasant and attentive, from the moment we arrived. Since it was Valentine's night, they had a special dinner menu that had great options. With a fully stocked bar, I selected a delicious red Cabernet Sauvignon that was amazing!! The only reason I'm giving it 3.5 stars is that the food was lukewarm in temperature. Our side dishes were almost cold by the time we got them. I'm assuming because it was an expected busy day, but I wish it was at least good to enjoy while warm. Otherwise, a great restaurant if you're going to celebrate a special occasion. Very large dining area, fully stocked bar and an open kitchen concept which made the experience very fun!! Definitely would go back to Maynard's on a regular day to dine!!

Maynard's in Silverdale absolutely delivered on every level--service, food, and atmosphere. From the moment we arrived, the staff was welcoming, attentive, and knowledgeable without being overbearing. The drinks were expertly made and set the tone for a great evening. We ordered the Tomahawk steak, and it was phenomenal--perfectly cooked, incredibly flavorful, and beautifully presented. You can tell real care goes into both the quality of the ingredients and the execution. Every bite was worth it. The atmosphere strikes a great balance between upscale and comfortable, making it perfect for a special night out or a relaxed but elevated dinner. Overall, an outstanding experience from start to finish. We'll absolutely be back and highly recommend Maynard's to anyone looking for an exceptional meal in Silverdale.

Came for the early bird special... stayed because our taste buds and eyeballs refused to leave. We wandered in on a whim for their 3-course early bird deal and honestly? Best impulsive decision we've made since that "just one more pet" situation. The place is absolutely beautiful -- warm lighting, elegant decor, the kind of vibe that makes you want to pretend you know things about wine. Started strong with a blood orange drop that was so good I had another -- for hydration, obviously. Partner grabbed a beer and we settled in for what turned out to be a seriously delicious ride. For starters: the smoked beet salad with whipped goat cheese was smoky, tangy, and silky all at once (who knew beets could be sexy?). The Caesar salad? Classic and crisp -- no notes. Then came the New York steak, cooked to absolute perfection with a side of roasted veggies and garlic mashed potatoes that were so creamy and garlicky I briefly considered proposing to them. And now... dessert. A white chocolate mousse and flourless chocolate cake duo that made us question every past dessert decision. If licking plates in public were socially acceptable, we'd have done it proudly. The only downside? The service was sloooow. Like, "did they forget we exist?" slow -- which was surprising with just five tables in the place. But honestly, the food and ambiance were so good we just leaned into it and called it leisurely fine dining.

Outstanding dish..This was the salmon with pomegranate glaze and roasted pears with a dirty martini.. Because my wife is classy!!

Now this is what I like, from the food to staff, this place has it all, even the bathrooms are nice. once you walk in, your greeted immediately to the left with an open kitchen where you can see everything being prepared and cooked. That's outstanding, but how does the food look? How does the food taste? I can assure you that you will not be disappointed. I had high expectations and they were met and exceeded. The prices for what you get are fair and comparable for the area if not a little below value, I was very impressed with the plating and even more impressed with the way the food tasted. Oh I almost forgot the views from this place are great!! Perfect for a date night.. and they have a huge parking lot plus an overflow lot.. I almost forgot to mention their huge deck out back, wow!!

We are new to the area and Maynard's might be our go to spot! We came in for the early bird special. There was ample parking and the atmosphere inside was classy. We ordered the coconut mule cocktail and it was delicious! The balance of the ginger beer with the coconut cream was fabulous. All of our courses were also great and our server was perfect. She anticipated our needs and made conversation. 10/10!

The Smoked Beet appetizer is a must have! Absolutely brilliant, stunning dish!

Maynard's has always been our go-to date night, nice dinner, celebration meal restaurant ever since they opened. We've always been greeted warmly when we enter and generally sat within a very short period of time if not immediately. Service is always very professional, attentive and knowledgeable which is rare in our county so very much appreciated! On most nights, the owner and chef can be seen chatting with customers, working in the kitchen or expediting orders, it's reassuring to see him still so involved. As for the food, I can't remember ever going and not getting the smoked beet appetizer, it's out of this world and I've never had it anywhere but here! Hubby is pretty loyal to the tomahawk while I venture around the menu and get anything from a pizza to the special and everything in between! It's a beautiful restaurant with stunning views, especially during sunset, and outdoor seating for our short summer evenings! The reviews on this place are all over the place but I have to say, we've never had a bad meal or a bad experience including our visit last week!

    Gnocchi

Dining on my own, I was seated by the fireplace, which was awesome! I ordered the gnocchi appetizer for my dinner, since I didn't want leftovers. It was the perfect amount! Delicious and very rich. It also gave me room for dessert, the bourbon bread pudding, also very tasty! Thanks to Shannon's suggestions, dinner was a hit!

The chef actually called me personally to confirm how low "low sodium" meant. That level of care alone had me ready to give five stars before we even walked through the door. Speaking of the door--the place immediately sets the tone. The interior is modern and sleek, and the entrance door itself is so cool it deserves its own Yelp review. We were greeted by the chef and his wife, which instantly made the evening feel warm and personal. With only four tables total, the setting is incredibly intimate, and we lucked out by having the entire place to ourselves at the chef's table--front-row seats to the magic happening in the kitchen. Dinner and a show, minus the awkward applause. The chef's wife was incredibly attentive, welcoming, and genuinely friendly. We had great conversations with both of them throughout the night, and it truly felt less like dining out and more like being invited into someone's very stylish home--where the hosts just happen to be exceptionally talented. Now let's talk about the food. The first course was scallops with caviar. The scallops were cooked perfectly--moist, tender, and seasoned just right to balance the caviar without overpowering it. Delicate, flavorful, and honestly a strong opening act. Then came the tomahawk--and wow. Cooked to absolute perfection, with a flawless medium-rare center and beautifully rendered, crispy fat. The mashed potatoes were smooth, rich, and paired perfectly with the peppercorn sauce, which tied everything together like it knew exactly why it was there. Add in the roasted garlic, and you get the perfect bite: tomahawk, mashed potatoes, and roasted garlic in one forkful. I'm still thinking about it. Fair warning: while everything was incredibly delicious, this experience does come with a higher price tag. That said, when you factor in the intimate setting, the thoughtful personalization, and the outstanding quality of the food, it absolutely felt worth it. This is the kind of meal you plan for, savor, and quietly judge other dinners against afterward. An unforgettable experience from start to finish. Come hungry--and maybe emotionally prepared to miss it the next day.

I don't know why she couldn't just say that to us when we were standing there in front of her, waiting. I had originally planned to get a hot dog, but found out that they only had one kind. The menu I had looked at online, before, had several different kinds. I got the Sweet Hickory BBQ Burger with onion petals, a raspberry lemonade, and peanut butter pie for dessert. My mother got a French Dip with onion petals, and a Blueberry Lime Splash to drink. The burger was exceedingly average. I love every barbecue burger I ever have, but that one was just blah. It really made me wish I had just gone ahead and ordered the hot dog. They gave me extra sauce when I asked, but it didn't improve it, much. My mother said her French Dip was pretty blah, too. She also thought the Blueberry Lime Splash was just kind of all right. I liked the raspberry lemonade, but we both agreed that the onion petals were the star of the show. They were really extraordinarily delicious, with a great texture. I got the peanut butter pie to go, and ate it when I got home. It was incredible! Definitely one of the best peanut butter pies I've ever eaten. It was amazing both with and without the chocolate sauce I was given. All in all, I probably wouldn't go back, but if I do, I'll try the hot dog, and steer clear of the burgers. I'd definitely get the onion petals and peanut butter pie again. As a side note, it's very dim in there, and it was very difficult for my sight impaired mother to read the menu. She had to get up and walk out and read the large one on the wall in the entryway. It's good that they have that option, but a little bit more light would be nice, too.
