Traditionally, lechon is slowly roasted and served whole and this is the way House of Lechon does it but every Sunday they sell it by the pound with a minimum order of two pounds. Whole pigs or by the pound orders require advance orders. They are only open on Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 11 AM to 5 PM but you can place your order any day (for pick up on the weekend) by calling them on the phone or sending a message on Facebook Messenger. I've ordered both ways with success. This is strictly a take out restaurant as there is no dining room. On Sundays when they sell lechon by the pound they make a little extra for walk-in customers but I highly recommend placing your order at least a day in advance. I have enjoyed partaking of the whole pig a couple of times at events and have ordered a few pounds a couple times. It is truly a wonderful dining experience. The skin is crispy and the meat is so juicy, tender and delicious. It is served with a very nice dipping sauce. You can order the whole pig, the head, shoulder/butt or belly.
