Delicious, Delicious, Delicious! My mom had told me this is her and my Dads favorite breakfast spot and I understand why! The wait was quite a bit since they were packed due to the snow birds being in town but the food was worth it! The restaurant was clean and nice. The portions are HUGE! My pancakes lasted me 3 days of breakfast and the grits were good. The waitress was even nice enough to make the hot chocolate with milk for me and it was good! I definitely recommend coming here if you haven't already!

Went here for lunch recently with a church friend who lives in a retirement facility nearby. Even though his facility includes top-notch meals in a beautiful dining room, he comes here occasionally and I can see now why. The interior, although a bit cramped, is bright and clean and the servers are very efficient and courteous. Our sandwiches arrived quickly and they were delicious. I hope my friend suggests we go here again the next time I visit.

The service was impeccable. Mariana was attentive and incredibly kind! The food was delicious and the portions were generous for the prices (hard to find these days). The restaurant was cozy and reminiscent of a diner with tables lined on either side of the restaurant. There is outdoor seating as well as ample parking. I will be returning if I'm ever in town :) sn: the homestyle potatoes had the most amazing crispy parts, please get them.

This was a family-owned restaurant that served breakfast and lunch dishes. The tables were very close together, so it was tight to move around. The service was friendly, and the food came out in a timely manner. I ordered the cobb salad ($15.99). I opted for blackened chicken. It came with romaine lettuce, avocado, blue cheese, bacon, pickled red onions, tomato, hard boiled egg and a green goddess dressing. This was great. This was a good-sized salad with a ton of all of the filing. The chicken was cooked to my liking while the green goddess dressing was tasty. I do not remember ever having this type of dressing with a cobb, but it worked well. It also seemed like all of the ingredients were very fresh. I also tried the chocolate chip pancakes. A pancake was large and appetizing. I really enjoyed how the chips melted right into the pancake. I also tried the orzo salad and it was okay. Something seemed off. It might have been the shredded cheese on top. It was not needed at all. Will I go back? No doubt.

this place is a great spot in Osprey Florida. Went here with my mom for a brunch and I got the lemon blueberry ricotta pancakes, not pictured, but she got their biscuit with egg cheese and bacon and she really enjoyed it. The servers are very friendly here and the service is quick and efficient. The bathroom is clean. They have a nice outdoor seating area that is covered so the sun is not beaming down your face, a great spot for brunch.

Delicious low key breakfast place. My family enjoyed Nutella pancakes, Mediterranean chicken wrap, eggs and bacon, and biscuits! Our server was kind and helpful. The restaurant has a family feel and the food is excellent. They have some gluten free options as well. We will certainly be back- and prices were very reasonable!

Always a great meal at Max's. Biscuits and gravy, corned beef hash for the wife and I had the pressed Reuben sandwich with fries. There is a wait most times, but it's worth it and the staff turns the tables quickly. read more

This place is great ! Everything was good, but the lemon ricotta pancakes were the BOMB ! Sooooooo good ! Every one of the wait staff were friendly and helpful. The food was A++ top tier. We sat at the bar and had a quick breakfast; 2 eggs, bacon, home fries and a biscuit! The service was swift and the it was a fun environment. If you sit at the bar, you can see the owner / operator crafting each plate in the kitchen! He sent us a surprise stack of lemon and blueberry ricotta pancakes ... they were amazing!!!!!! 5 We look forward to returning soon!!! Highly recommend. read more

Amazing!!! We came in 1 minute before closing and they were so kind and offered to sit us anyways. The service was great and our server was incredibly accommodating and had a smile on her face regardless of having to stay late for us. Not only was she wonderful, so was the food. Highly recommend this place, but they do close at 2:30 which we didn't know. read more

Good food, though the cobb salad ham tasted a bit odd? Not spoiled or anything just odd. The service was great, we were quickly seated and served, spent only 40 minutes there during the lunch rush because of how quick they were working! I live in Osprey and this is my go-to place to eat. So, where to start... the staff is amazing, super friendly and efficient. They keep everything clean and observe the social distance. Now for the food... oh, the food! I can't eat eggs Benedict anywhere else! The eggs are perfectly poached and the hollandaise is sublime. Biscuits and gravy are insane... better than my Gammy's and that's saying something! And the pancakes! Good grief! It's like dessert for brekkie! The lemon ricotta ones are like a sweet tart. The bacon is always nice and crispy (I don't like limp bacon, ew!) and the home fries (with onions, of course) are delish. Omelets are tall, light and fluffy, mmm... the Spanish and Max's are my faves. Lunches are just as amazing... the roasted beets and goat cheese salad is so refreshing on a hot day. You won't find a better burger... patty melt's my favorite, SO good with those yummy fries. Sandwiches are always spot on and if Chef's muffuletta is on the menu... ORDER IT! I love the orzo pasta salad with it. My grandson's fave is the club sandwich. It's perfect, the quintessential club. Look, I could go on for days. Obviously, I eat here ALOT and it's for a reason. Our first time at this local eatery and we were not disappointed!!! The service was quick but not rushed, the atmosphere is delightful, very clean and charming. And the food- outstanding! I am very picky about bacon, and usually never order it when we go out. Today I was just feeling adventurous and I was not disappointed- it was perfectly crunchy chewy. I also had the Crunchy French Toast. I am not much for sweets, so I didn't add syrup because the caramel drizzle and the fresh berries were a perfect pairing for this wonderful meal. Husband had the Corned Beef Hash and it was excellent with a great crust! We can't wait to go back! read more

There are a few times in life when you can truly say a meal was exceptionally amazing. The food, service and atmosphere were exceptionally amazing. Immediately upon arriving the place was amazing. There was an older gentleman bus boy who opened the door for us and greeted us with a smile. The host also did the same and even greeted our children amazing. Our waitress was super helpful and found us the cheaper option of what we were looking for breakfast. The food was AMAZING and my 5 year old cleaned her plate. While we were eating the older gentleman who was bussing the tables noticed my 1.5 year old loved the orange garnish's and brought him out a bowl of oranges. Hands down one of the best breakfast locations I've been too. The place did not disappoint. read more

Best breakfast in the area. Chocolate chip Pancakes for the kids and they were begging for more. I had the omlette and it was done to perfection. Wife had the crunchy French. She normally eats half of her plate and she couldn't stop eating the large portion that was given to her. Max's Table is clean, courteous and the food was perfect. Hash browns, fruit and toast sides were also delicious. Have been many times for lunch and will come back again soon. read more

Stopped here for breakfast on a Sunday. It was busy but we were seated right away at a table outside. Staff was friendly and efficient. Maxs Table was recommended. I was told the eggs Benedict was the best. My sister had the regular one and didn't finish it. Mine basically tasted like I was eating a cream of lemon sauce - it was terrible. It was fairly expensive and neither of us went away satisfied. The waitstaff service was pleasant, we sat outside which was fine - noise from the traffic to be expected. If I were to go again I guess I'd try the pancakes - the stacks are large and again fairly pricey but maybe good? read more

So fantastic. The menu has such incredible offerings. Delicious all day breakfasts. The Benedict's are delicious. We were served a waffle that arrived hot and perfect...when does that ever happen?? Our group of 5 arrived at noonish so we had brunch --some breakfast items and some lunch. My Mediterranean chicken wrap was fresh and authentic Greek ingredients and the side orzo salad was perfect. Our Bloody Mary's were perfectly seasoned. The service was outstanding by people who obviously know how to run a business. We dined on July 4th weekend 2020 during an uptick in Florida covid cases and they were very carefully sanitizing, seating people with the right distancing and all the staff were wearing masks. It made us feel very well cared for. Can't wait to go again!! read more

Very cozy and inviting atmosphere. The menu has many breakfast and lunch options...and everything looked good. The food was served hot and tasted very good. My girlfriend even made a comment about how fresh the omelet and tomato slices were (she is very picky about omelets). She ate the entire omelette even when she was full because it tasted so good. We also ordered the crunchy French toast which had a rich flavor of French toast with the crunch of cereal and a warm berry and Carmel sauce on top. Overall throughly impressed with the restaurant, the service, and the food quality. I would recommend the crunchy French toast is you are looking for a sweet tooth fix. If you are ever is Venice FL, this place is a must for Brunch! But be warned the portions are huge! If they suggest the smaller plate just do it! I refused the smaller plate and ended up take half of my food home. This is beautiful place with lots of flavor! I love how it was decorated and the server was really helpful and provided some suggestions when we ordered! They had mimosas which made me extra happy. The food was so good, my pancakes had the works, blueberry compote, lemon and love! I would definitely return! read more

This is one of the better breakfast places I have gone to in the area. Me and my wife have been driving pass it for weeks but the place is always packed on the weekends. We had a chance to go on a Monday and there was no wait. My wife had the Huevo ranchero and I had a more traditional eggs and pancakes. But we're very good the pancakes were light and fluffy. The place is clean and the staff is very attentive. Would definitely be going there again. read more

We ordered hummus and dolmades with lemon sauce to start. They offer a cup of soup with entrees. I got the avgolemono and my husband got the lentil. My husband ordered salmon and I ordered the Kokinisto Kotopoulo( chicken stew) Overall, the food was OK, but not outstanding. My husband complained that his salmon was way overcooked, the hummus was pretty bland. The soups were ok. My husband said his lentil soup tasted like lemons as well. He also said that the dolmades tasted like they came out of a can. My chicken stew the chicken was not tender and falling apart. It was kind of tough and chewy. The spices and flavoring were nice though. I almost feel like not posting this review because I don't like to drag on local places. But for the price and the ambience, not sure that this is worth my money in the future.

Fortunately, we were promptly seated despite the chilly weather, opting for an outdoor spot. The service immediately impressed us; our waitress was attentive and helpful throughout our meal. As for the food, it certainly met our expectations in terms of quality. I indulged in the chorizo quiche special, which was served with toast and fruit. It was undeniably delicious. My partner opted for the Breakfast Burrito, filled with spicy chorizo, scrambled eggs, caramelized onion, and peppers. It was also enjoyable, but neither dish left us floored. While the food was undeniably good, we couldn't quite grasp the fervor surrounding Max's Table. The quality was excellent, and the service was top-notch. However, the dishes we ordered, while tasty, didn't quite reach the level of extraordinary we were expecting. Thinking about it, you should have a stand out breakfast to start your day. A neighborhood fixture in Osprey, breakfast is the big draw and this place certainly shines. Important to note, Max's serves breakfast, brunch, and lunch until 2 PM. Everything we've had on the menu is very good , including the delicious omelettes that I typically eat. My favorite is the omelette with ham, Swiss cheese, mushrooms and spinach. This omelette has the perfect ratio of ingredients and the pieces of ham and the mushrooms are cut to the proper size. For my side dish I like their house potatoes. Lately instead of toast I've been ordering their homemade biscuits, they're excellent. Max's is clearly one of Osprey Florida's great American breakfast destinations. Salute! read more

Best breakfast in town. My family has been waiting for a place like this. Max's table is family owned and operated and it feels like it. I'm working my way through the menu and I've been crazy about each dish. The pancakes, huevos rancheros, patty melt, gyro, eggs benedict, and bacon have all been excellent. The kitchen really has their act together and it's obvious they want patrons to come back. The staff up front has made our brunch experience super comfortable with a welcoming and energetic vibe. Been here A LOT! Lemon ricotta pancakes are awesome. My son loves the fresh biscuits and the cheese grits are good. My other son loved the Belgium waffles and Nutella pancakes. Service has always been good. on weekends you will wait a while for a table if more than 2 people in your party. I like being outside when I'm in Fla but sitting on their patio you are right next to the parking lot and Tamiami trail. Won't stop us from going back though. I'd say it's the best breakfast place by far. Beats first watch and others in the area hands down. read more

I like this place for breakfast as there are not too many options available for me around where I live. It is a nice atmosphere, trendy industrial feel inside and the chef offers up some nicely prepared meals. Family owned and operated. They have a friendly wait staff. You have to get there early though because they fill up fast for breakfast on the weekends. I'm glad these guys finally opened up in my neighborhood. read more
