Max's is our go to for a scrumptious breakfast or delicious lunch. The staff from the hostesses to servers are friendly and welcoming and top notch. The menu has great variety and all the highlights eggs anyway, amazing French Toast and Waffles. Lunch covers it all as well. They make the best Corned beef hash. My parents live down the street and whenever they go out to eat, they come here. The old 'if it's not broken don't fix it' line -- they get great food and great service here, so why go elsewhere? I had the huevos racheros (recommended by my mom) and it was fantastic. You know most of the time when you want more tortilla or more filling because it never matches up? didn't happen here. What Happened? Service was horrible, inattentive, rude, and became aggravated when asking for a coffee refill. Food quality was not the same as in the past. This was always my go to breakfast spot. Dirty old coffee mug was the final nail into the coffin. read more

This place is only good for old people with no taste buds left in their mouth. Food is subpar at best. Also, the place is very very small and not good for larger parties as they seat smaller parties after you put your name in so they never have 2 tables to push together. If they tell you a fifteen minute wait plan on 45 minutes or more. Waitress was also very rude to our family. Won't be going back. Old people over 90 seem to like it though. read more

Portions were big and prices were low aka my kind of breakfast. I had the Max's Omlette and they let me make substitutions no problem. It came with home fries (which were smashed and very crispy, probably my favorite part of the meal) and a fluffy biscuit. Everyone loved their food and the bottomless coffee. Incredible. One of the best breakfasts. The lemon ricotta pancakes were the best I've ever had. The Florentine Benedict was phenomenal, you can tell the hollandaise sauce is home made- bacon on it was crisp too. To top it off the service was great. Javier is a fantastic manager, he's always looking for ways to elevate the breakfast experience. Checked on us multiple times. Amazingly delicious food and quick service- anything you order will taste great! I go there at least a couple times a month.

Service was friendly and food came out promptly. Belgian waffle and choc chip pancakes were good but not any better than any other brunch place. Coffee was also ok, standard. The other entrees ordered were corned beef hash with home fries (or cheesy grits) and Cubano sandwich. This is where things get a little hard. Corned beef hash was cooked so it was crispy. Real corned beef and not the canned stuff. The home fries were thin sliced and cooked crispy as well. However although the corned beef was cooked and is naturally salty, there was no other seasoning on the corned beef hash or the home fries. I think I only found one piece of onion in it all too. The Cubano was ok except for the pork used. The sliced ham was normal but the pork meat had a funky taste to it. Not sure if it's the seasoning they used on the pork or if it was old or if they grilled it on a pan that maybe just cooked something fishy..? Definitely detracted from the sandwich and all in all would not have us return. read more

This was a busy place. When we arrived there were people waiting to get in, I went to check in with my wife & informed the woman it's just the two of she said you want sit inside out outside, it was a cool morning we were able to sit outside immediately. The waitress came to take our order. Then dropped of two cups coffee and 10 minutes later our breakfast came. It was a late breakfast for us as it was around 10:30 am. I ordered a well done everything bagel with cream cheese & lox. The bagel was perfect for the lox, sliced thin & crispy my wife had the Greek Gyro she loved it. The food and service was excellent. Friendly staff, attentive but not intrusive service, many popular items on the easy to read menu, $$ pricing, comfortable seating, pleasantly spacious interior, and no long wait for meals, this breakfast and lunch place seems to have its act together. There's not much for vegans, but that's typical and I made do by ordering side dishes that were delicious. My omnivore spouse was happy with his eggs Benedict, too, except he didn't like all the paprika that was sprinkled on top. But now that we know about it we'll request that to be left off the next time we come. And there definitely will be a next time. read more

Loved the new clean, modern, vibe with a new interior seating and extended outdoor seating. YES, the well-mannered, leased doggies are allowed outside and there even is a welcome water bowl for them. The breakfast is generous and the flavors are excellent. The bacon is perfectly cooked. The pancakes are amazing. The batter is that perfect combination of sweet and fluffy.
