I was nearly certain that I had already made up my mind on another brand and I was just stopping in out of curiosity. I am so glad I did. I met with James who is extremely personable and down to earth. He was very patient and professional as he helped me as we compared the features between the different trim levels. After discussing my main concerns and comparing things like pricing, warranty, and the available safety features between the crosstrek and the other model that was on the top of my list at the time, I discovered that the Subaru is an excellent value and suddenly made it to the top of my list. I was very impressed with everything about the vehicle and how James handled my questions and requests. If you are looking for Differentiated specifications in a vehicle and a sales experience that…read morebypasses the usual friction, look no further. I am writing this from the perspective of someone who values technical excellence and verifiable evidence, and Ciocca Subaru of Philadelphia delivers in totality. My experience was driven by a salesman who is a rare find--he is also a mechanic who knows the Subaru architecture inside and out. In a world of surface-level sales talk, his forensic understanding of the machinery was refreshing. Here is the bottom line on why this is the only choice for a serious driver: The Best AWD System Ever Created: It is a matter of record that Subaru has the greatest four-wheel drive system in existence. Even a giant like Toyota recognized this; they purchased a 30% share in the company because they realized they simply could not improve upon the Subaru AWD engineering. Intelligent EV Integration: Subaru is smart enough to know they don't have to reinvent the wheel. Their three new electric vehicle choices utilize Tesla technology--the gold standard for EVs--combining the best electric power with the most rugged chassis on the market. This wasn't just a transaction; it was a meeting of minds at Ciocca. If you want a vehicle built on superior logic and a team that understands the "why" behind the "how," this is your destination.

My battery died, so I jump-started my vehicle and brought it here for service. I was quoted $210…read morefor a diagnostic to check for a possible parasitic battery drain and $425.26 for a replacement battery, for a total estimate of nearly $690. When I asked about the results of the parasitic draw testing, I was unable to get a clear explanation of what testing had actually been performed. The paperwork I was shown appeared to reflect only multipoint inspection. When I questioned the cost and the diagnosis, the service representative became condescending and told me I "obviously hadn't read the paperwork." He then said, "You are a woman, you want a guy to take you to a nice restaurant, not a cheap one," as a way of explaining the higher price. I found that comment inappropriate, patronizing, and unprofessional. After approximately 24 hours, the diagnostic charge was reduced from $210 to $110. As I was preparing to leave, I was informed that my passenger side window was no longer functioning from the driver's side switch, despite working before I brought the vehicle in which is reflected on the multi point inspection results which they ran. I ultimately declined the battery replacement and took the car to another mechanic, who replaced the battery for $197 plus $51 in labor. Based on my experience, I felt talked down to, left with unanswered questions about the diagnostic charge, and would not recommend this service department.
