Ed Brunton who is in charge was so quick to help me with a warranty issue I was in awe. His entire staff (both in person and on the phone) treated me wonderful too so just a great culture from the top to the bottom. Ok, in feb. 2021 i purchased a 2021 chevy silverado 2500hd WT for my business. Bryner doesnt advertise for commercial tks. Sales man talked me into extended warranty which i never get cause its a new truck and i can get later on, but he said since its for my business. So i agree. Now Feb. 2025, 65000 my transmission goes, never a plow on truck, just pulled two riding mowers. Reg. Warranty expired, Come feb 2025 i barely drive to Bryner and drop off for appointment. Prior to making appointment i call the 1st time and service call taker completely talks me out of bringing it in, and i quote, "the cold weather is making your transmission act up, wait till it warms up, then if problem persist make an appointment. Well i call two days later. So Crystal calls back and said there was a small transmission leak and that i probably wouldnt have seen stain. 4 courts low, broken line, have adjuster come inspect. Adjuster rejects extended warranty claim cause i had commercial stickers on truck and in original extended warranty i didnt pay a commercial surcharge. No one mentioned this clause to me at time of purchasing, salesman new it was going to be a commercial truck, the trucks label says WT TRIM. IN ADDITION, i asked salesman about that brake controller, he adamately said it had one, it didnt, i had to get one installed after going thru brakes and rear tires for two yrs. Also at time of purchasing, they installed a bed liner which didnt fit right and i mentioned it twice and they said comeback after one year and ask again. All in all, i wished i would have looked for reviews on this place. This company is shady. I cant say it enough, there are many other chevy dealers. Customer service! I used to love this place. We bought like three cars from them. However they sold me a car where the parking assist back-up camera stop working as soon as I got it home. I called immediately and then they gave me the runaround about getting it fixed. They break the holder to the parking assist back-up camera without even saying anything. This dealership is taken advantage of their female customers, damaging their vehicles in exchange for potential revenue, and forgoing safety as a top priority. The car was dropped off at 1:35pm. The vehicle wasn't emitting any fumes or making any exhaust noise. At 3:30 Chris Stacey estimated it will cost approximately $2000 to replace a catalytic converter. If video surveillance with sound is on the premises, it would prove how the car sounded when it arrived and when it was pulled in the garage was not the same when it left at 4:10. The difference was immediately noticed. Additionally, The service manager mentioned a tire "maybe losing air" but the mechanic notes suggested that the tire is dry rotted. A dry rotted tire is an extreme safety hazard with far greater implications and to not mentioned replacement is negligent. Follow up emails and phone calls were made to the Director of Service and the president of the dealership and the car was towed to another Chevy dealership in the area for service. I would not recommend Bryner for service. I have 2019 Corvette Grand Sport. It has Lingenfelter Supercharger. The car has roughly 2,000 miles on it. GM is having nightmare's with their transmissions. I usually deal with Chris Stacy and what a gentleman. Fair and honest. If Chris tells you something, it is true. One of the best service people I've ever dealt with and I owned at least ten GM cars and three Corvettes. I sold one to my plumber and he uses Bryner. My Nephew uses Bryner His father Lou, uses Bryner I'm not sure but I think they all bought there. When I first called I dealt with Hailey, I was impressed with her knowledge. She knew her stuff. After telling her about my issue we said virtually at the same time "shudder flush" The car had been there for a day or so and was test drove. I called the next day and everyone refused to talk to me. finally I got through "we can't do business with you" I didn't ask for Chris because I could see a mess coming and I didn't want to drag him into it. So I said let me talk to the service manager. Then Bryner Chevrolet Service Manager Ed Brunton Sr refused to work on the car. "too much work" He also told his reps not to do business with me. One said and I quote "we won't do business with you" I couldn't figure it out. All the sudden Hailey won't take my calls. I maybe see these people once a year for my oil changes. I have never had even had a loud conversation in there. First Ed said there is nothing wrong with the car. Then he said he won't work on a car with Lingenfelter Superchargers. I know for a fact that Lingenfelter and Bryner communicate and that Bryner works on Lingenfelter cars. I know for a fact they work on modified cars and are known by Corvette enthusiasts to be one of the best Vette friendly shops around. They have one of the best Corvette mechanics in the business. Members of the Corvette Club use Bryner. Bryner even offers a discount to members. If you pass the law of probability some of those cars have to be modified. Bryner's Vette mechanics go to the SEMA shows. SEMA is a Racing and Performance Show. They aren't out there because of the weather! Yet according to their service director they won't work on my car because it has a Lingenfelter Supercharger. He also said "its too much work" because if the shudder flush doesn't work they have to look at the torque converter and then on and on. It's logical but unreasonable. Isn't that their job? If you tell me nothing is wrong with the car, then tell me you won't work on it because it's too much work, then you say supercharger, I don't know what to think. Then after begging and literally groveling, and offering to pay out of pocket he said he'll do the "shudder flush" but if that isn't it, they won't do the "torque converter. Why? They're busy. I understand that. This GM Transmission problem effects almost every car in the GM line. I bet every GM dealer in the country is pulling their hair out over this situation, but this is my car. So now I have to fight for my rights. According to TSB (Technical Service Bulletin) 18-NA-355, the latest update addresses "torque converter clutch (TCC) shudder conditions on 8L45 and 8L90" eight-speed automatic transmissions, RPO codes M5N, M5T, M5U, and M5X. Affected vehicles include Chevrolet, GMC and Cadillac vehicles. I didn't even mention it because I trust Spence completely. I knew once it got in there it was in good hands. The memo mentions that if the flush doesn't work then its the torque converter, but Bryner refuses to go any further than the flush and I had to beg for that. Remember I offered to pay even though it's covered I am paraphrasing, but I was also heard the words "Won't go further" Further than what? The warranty? The GM Technical Service Bulletin? The Magnuson Moss Warranty Act? I know they talk to Magnuson as well. This is my third Corvette. I know all the guys from Lingenfelter. I know the guys at Magnuson and they all know Bryner. GM has seen problems of the eight-speed GM transmission on numerous occasions. In fact, there was a class action lawsuit brought against GM back in April, complaints from owners, and even a recommendation that GM replace the eight-speed altogether with a new unit as quickly as possible". As of July 8th, 2019, GM began using a new type of Mobil 1 automatic transmission fluid for the troublesome transmissions. That's all they had to do. Everyone knew it. You wouldn't believe how the service manager spoke to me. I called him a crook. It was a poor choice of words and I apologized but I wasn't being treated right. So I paid $795.00 for something that was covered, I believe the price was deliberately inflated, but you can't put a price on the aggravation. My husband bought a used vehicle from here and 3 months later the rotors started leaking brake fluid, we bought this car right after the birth of our son our second child in September. Our mechanic told us the rotors were old and should have been replaced before the car was sold. Not even 10 months into owning the car the transmission died, which was two weeks ago. When we took it to a mechanic they said that the transmission fluid was old and low. They only give a 3 month warranty which is a lesson to be learned that its not a good sign. Im not sure if they even check the used cars they get before selling them. Im so furious with this company not only are we trying to make ends meet to provide for our family of 4 but Now I had to take a 6000 dollar loan to get the transmittion replaced. It's fascinating to read the range of reviews. I leased a new Chevy Bolt about six months ago and have had excellent service from Bryner on a couple of occasions. I do fault them for not clearly understanding the nature of an electric car and for reassuring me that my version of the Bolt had a feature that the salesman did not understand, but this is fairly standard when mainstream sales staff sell electric cars. This week I had an excellent experience with their service. I blew out a tire (don't ask) and had to have it trucked to the service center without my input. They called my cell to ask what needed to be done. They replaced the tire in reasonable, but not excellent, time. They also did not call when it was done, but it was sitting out, ready to go when I arrived to pick it up. It's a dealership. If you follow Consumer Reports, you know that dealerships tend to be more expensive than independent service stations, and they have both the most experienced and least experienced service people -- the experienced people supervise. This probably explains the one star reviews. I noted a higher number of white men gave five star reviews. I'm sure, as a confident ~60 year old professional white man, I get better attention at most places of business than women and people of color. When you know how to walk into a room and command respect and attention, you are more likely to get it. It's not a fault that is unique to Bryner. Con artist at its finest!!!! DO NOT DO NOT DO NOT DO NOT go to this place for any type of service!!!! Why do I refer to Bryner Chevrolet as con artist??? Had "theft deterrent system" pop up on the car and had to have it towed to the local Chevrolet dealership. Unfortunately this didn't happen close to where I'm from because I called a dealership I've dealt with before and was quoted roughly $90. I was told they'd have to run diagnostics and reprogram the key fob, which would take about an hour at the most. Back to Bryner.... So we gave the service guy Ed all of the car info he requested and the key to the car. No one called when the car was done, instead my girl called in the evening to check on the status and was told it was done and she could come get it. We go up there the next morning and have a charge of $191. HEAR ME..... THEY CHARGED $191 TO RUN DIAGNOSTICS (a computer does this), CHECK HER BATTERY (a voltage meter is placed on positive and negative charges of the battery to check voltage --- takes about 8 seconds because I did that before it was taken here), AND REPROGRAM A KEY FOB THAT IS HER OWN!!! This is poor service and overpriced all the way around!!! Take your service and money elsewhere for honest work!!! read more

But the people here communicated with me continuously, they warned me of issues that might evolved, they concerned themselves with how long they kept my car. And they were polite. They were able to repair what another service center could not fix after several days of trying. The only thing I disliked was the price. I thought they repaired more than was needed. DO NOT TAKE UR CAR THERE FOR SERVICE, I wish I could give them NO STARS! . I brought it in to get a new BCM, electrical work done. I got home and realized that the electrical Sun roof isn't working. They're telling me it has nothing to do with reprogramming the electrical system in the car. And they will not fix it. Btw they charged me $1000 for just servicing it plus parts when asked about the mechanics log hours they told me they don't do that. It'sa flat rate!! Then as I was leaving I noticed the side panel on my front seat was hanging off the seat and they said didn't do that. Both things were working fine before I brought it to them. They are so rude and inconsiderate of your feelings about their terrible service. How can my car go in with a perfectly fine seat and a perfectly fine sunroof and come out both of them broken and you charge me $1400 to fix one thing but you broke two extra things! As usual, while the sales team is the best, the service team leaves a lot to be desired. I took my Traverse in for an inspection, and to fix a turn signal that was out. When I pulled in, I pointed out the turn signal issue to the attendant. I then mentioned this to my service supervisor. My Traverse passed inspection, but as I pulled it out, it seemed like none of the work was done. The turn signal was still out. The rear wiper was torn. The inspection date stickers was incorrect. I immediately sent an e-mail. No response until the following Monday. I demanded a refund. I was told no, but they would fix the turn signal free of charge. I had to negotiate to get the other items- the torn wiper blade and the correct stickers. And waste another morning. Will not be coming back for inspections. read more

The intake person I met in the service area and the service desk manager were upbeat, attentive, responsive, and gave me great comfort that my car would be handled in a timely and professional manner. Actually, the service desk manager even gave me options for getting my car serviced given my time constraints. All of that was five stars. However, when I came to pick my car up, I was ignored for over three minutes at the sign-out desk. Two people, one on the phone, and other with their back to me said nothing to me while I waited to pick my car up. For over three minutes I looked around, tried to make eye contact, and nothing!! Not even a 'Sorry, sir, we will be with you in a minute.' I did finally get the 'Be with you in a minute' sometime three minutes in. I thought to give the dealership a two star, but that was only part of the experience so I averaged it on the great intake process to a four star, but I am not sure I will ever be back, and I cannot recommend your dealership to friends. read more

So here is my experience with Bryner Chevrolet. I purchased my car from Reena Bove who is a salesperson at this dealership. She gave me what I thought was great customer service and I was told that I'm getting such a great deal on my car because they had it for a while. I thought this was due to people wanting newer cars and not wanting a Ford. Within a week of me having my car I realized the piece that is used to open the hood of my car was hanging out of the side and I was unable to open my hood. After that I noticed that an alert kept popping up on my dash stating that the battery needed to be charged. Through out the week as I would drive my dashboard would go black then pop back up. I called Reena Bove about this and she stated that I could go into the service department however she didn't sound surprise that this issue was occurring. Which leads me to believe that she already knew that this car had issues hence the reason I received such a "discount". I work full time Monday-Friday 10-6:30 so this is a big inconvenience for me. When I went to get my car serviced I was told that I had to do a $50 deposit for the rental and I had to put gas into the car. After I just purchased a new car from them and filled the tank on my new car. I also put money down on the car as well so you can see how that isn't the most welcoming idea to me. I told them that I can sit with my car on Saturday because that was my day off and I was rudely told that there would be no way that my car can get fixed on a Saturday and my only option would be the rental car, even though the issues with the car weren't my fault. Reena Bove never told me about the deposit that had to be made. So I scheduled another appointment with the dealership however again I have a very demanding work schedule so I had to reschedule my appointment again after that. I had to request a day off of work just to bring my car in. While at work on 9/9/17 I went to my car to take a lunch break and my car would not start. I thought it was the battery. I thought maybe a coworker could give me a jump but then I remembered that I couldn't open the hood of my car. So I called the dealership and I was given the run around by Reena Bove and was told that someone would give me a call back. No one called me back so I called the service department again I was given the run around about how the department was busy. However I was stranded at work with no way home and this dealership acted like it was nothing. Finally after putting some pressure on the service rep. She told me to speak to the sales manager and she put me on hold. She then told me to call roadside assistance. I called roadside assistance which took an hour because they couldn't match the vin number that I was given to the one that was in the system. Then they said it was a charge for the service of $76 after the dealership told me it was free. Then they had to waive the fee. At this point I am missing an hour and a half from work, Which is money. Finally they get someone to come out to jump My car and open the hood because again I can't open it myself. Then the road side assistance arrives I have to leave out of work again for another hour because he tried to jump the car and he starts saying that it's not the battery and that it's something else and that he can't give me a ride to the dealership and he can't give me a tow. So at this point I am furious because I spoke to the dealership at 12:30 and it is now 3:30 and the service department closed at 3:00pm. So I call back in and ask to speak to the sales manager and I'm given the run around again that both he and Reena Bove are with customers and that someone would give me a call back. However at this point I am stranded at my job it's almost 4pm I am missing work and the dealership closes at 5 and she's telling me someone is going to call me back. When I tell her absolutely not that I need to speak to someone now and I explain to her how this isn't good service and she wouldn't like it if I went online and told people this. She said "do what you want" and hung up the phone on me. I then had to call the dealership again and she gives the run around again and asked to speak to the roadside assistance which she didn't even know what services they provided. She then gets back on the phone with me after knowing from the road side assistance that my car will not start and it's not the battery and that he can't take me to the dealership she again tries to get off of the phone with me. I then have to tell her that I will wait on hold as long as possible until the sales manager gets on the phone. I wait 11 minutes before he gets on the phone and his idea of fixing the situation is getting the car towed and paying for a Uber with my money read more

Checked out two other Chevy dealers first to see their deals and what they would offer me on my trade-in. The salesman at Bryner immediately became my best friend, or so he acted like. Very unimpressed with this place. The only redeeming thing about this place is a lady named Sharon who helped me set up an appointment on the phone and reserved a car via Enterprise for me. To start off, I had some open recalls on my car that needed to be fixed. I called to find out about the process and was told that I would be called when the parts came in, which should have been a few days. 2 weeks later and no phone call/message, I call back and speak with Sharon. She noticed that the parts were in and I was able to make an appointment for about a week later (which is fine, even though I should have gotten a call about my parts being in). Once I got to my appointment I didn't have many problems. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the woman working at Enterprise (though super busy and running around from dealer to dealer) was very helpful and tried to make my wait as short as possible. Upon returning to pick up my car they gave me some sort of diagnostic sheet telling me what I needed done on my car. They suggested I get my serpentine belt replaced and coolant flushed. Thankfully I did none of that there and decided to shop around. I had another place inspect my belt AND had a friend mechanic look at it, and they both said the serpentine belt was fine. I highly doubt this suggestion was a mistake and feel like they were trying to get me to do extraneous repairs to my car just to make extra money. OH! And on top of that, the day that I dropped my car off the A/C worked 100% fine, blowing really cold air. The day after I picked it up I noticed that the A/C does not work. At all! Not even kind of cold air. Not even dehumidifying the air whatsoever. And, of course, they "didn't touch anything with the A/C". This place will try to take advantage of you and don't count on them calling you about parts being in. I don't know if this treatment was just because my only repairs were recalls, but regardless they get paid by GM so there shouldn't be any special treatment. The only way that I would come here would be if I bought a car from them (which I wouldn't after this experience) and had some sort of warranty that required me to get my repairs done by them. read more

I've never dealt with the sales department, they could be amazing but after dealing with the service department I can say with fair certainty, I will never know. Everytime I call, it rings and rings. Finally someone answers only to be promptly put on hold. Occasionally the phone is picked where I'm told "please hold" and back on hold. My check engine light was on and it was diagnosed as a thermosat. I waited 2 hrs and 45 minutes at which time I was told it would be $483.00 plus tax!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. If I choose not to have it done I would be charged $142.00 the mechanics hourly rate. Because I had almost 3 hrs of my time invested.I went ahead and had it fixed. I was charged $355.00 for labor and $123 for the thermostat which I felt was right there with being criminal........my husband followed up with the service manager and was told there was nothing he could do...the call did not end well. I then called around to several non dealer mechanics and found that I would have been charged on average $250.00 for the complete job. Do not go to this place! Thieves. I bought a car here that was said to have Bluetooth, after numerous attempts to set it up. The service department said the car does not have Bluetooth. I had to take then to court just for them to call me back. Today months later, just waiting for my court date because they are still not trying to take responsibility for false advertising. read more

Bryner has long been our go-to dealer for Chevy products. The sales associates are knowledgeable and attentive. Importantly, we have found the sales staff as a whole to be quite willing to work with us (and the multitude of referrals we have sent to them) to secure the best price on a product. Meanwhile, the service department has repeatedly "knocked it out of the park" for us. The Mister's car had serious engine troubles and Bryner made Herculean efforts to obtain a new engine for the car. The replacement was flawlessly installed, and we cannot adequately thank Bryner for its advocacy and meticulousness. read more

I called a few dealerships in my area to fix a blown speaker under warranty. All of the other dealers said they couldn't see me for 1 week. This dealership, I think his name was Ed, told me to come in the next day after 1pm (less busy time) and they could look at it, and if it's truly blown they would order a new one. I currently have a new speaker in my car before I would have even got an appt. with the other dealerships. I have a difficult schedule and could not be there during opening hours and they were more that willing to accommodate my drop of and pick up time. I give 5stars lightly, but they were kind, quick, and accommodating and I am very thankful. Glad I drove the extra 20min to get to them. read more
