    Car #2 just purchased from Glanzmann. Everything went as expected. No curveballs thrown! If you remember, definitely ask for Liz Gross for your salesperson! She explained different options to us and after "settlement" spent more than an hour with us showing us how to operate this super computer on wheels. Received follow up text from Liz too. Love our new 2022 Subaru Outback Touring! Luxury and safety perfection! We will absolutely go to Glanzmann Subaru for our next car! Good luck in your new upcoming showroom, service center. While there was a small delay with our appointment, the facility is gorgeous, so grab a coffee, chose a comfortable chair with or without seating, and have some coffee or grab a bottle of water. And how about them bathrooms? Every single one appeared to be private and handicap accessible, like entire rooms within the restroom. The paperwork process we went through here was the only impressive paperwork process I've seen in my life. There was a huge table screen for viewing documents and signing. I'm pretty sure you can't place a mug of coffee on it, but that's impressive stuff. All info is on a usb drive and given to you after signing. Everything is delivered by folks who look and sound like they went to finishing school and ran through a magical polishing machine before coming to work. We didn't buy a Lexus and we didn't need to bother with financing, and the car we purchased would've easily been moved off the lot the next day or week, but they certainly treated us like their other high-end customers. After a super efficient process, congrats and a handshake, we were presented with our immaculate three-year used vehicle. Imagine all of those positive vibes after a massive personal screw up. If I'm ever in the market for a Lexus, I'll be coming early to enjoy a cup of coffee.

NOT ALL DEALERSHIPS OF THE SAME BRAND ARE THE SAME. I'm familiar with Thompson, having leased another luxury brand from them for close to a decade. Same ownership, different management. Big difference. Huge. Since the service department opens at 7:30am, and I had a scheduled appointment for first thing on Monday morning, when nearly six (6) hours passed, and I never received a call with an update, I decided to call. This was my 1st time at Thompson Lexus Willow Grove's Service Department, and the 1st service on my Certified Pre-Owned Lexus. I was assigned a service member, and I couldn't have had a worse hand dealt to me. Patrick Applegate. Apathetic. Lexus makes phenomenal and reliable vehicles, and the brand, as well as its corporate team in the US are exceptional. So, when I asked Pat the cost to fix the molding around and under the window, and if it's something Lexus would cover, his response was "unlikely since the mechanic said it looks like someone tried breaking into your car." I asked if he could speak with his manager, and Lexus, and he stated he'd call back, which he did. He stated his dealership wouldn't cover the cost. He asked if I was going to move forward with the repair. I stated that,"I'm going to contact the GM where I bought the vehicle, in case Lexus won't cover it", he stated that he'd order the parts, regardless. The estimate was just under $664, with $497.94 being the total for two parts, and $165.95 for labor. I contacted the GM of the Lexus dealership in Englewood, NJ. His response, "if Lexus won't cover it in good will, we'll pay for the repair". Once again, different dealership, different leadership, different business acumen, and different mindset. Tuesday morning, I never received a call from anyone at Thompson Lexus. By 12:31pm EST, I called, and was informed Pat wasn't in. I was connected to Matthew Buglak. Matt is personable, empathetic, and immediately took ownership of assisting me. The manager of the service and parts department, Mark Ambolino, was on vacation. No one had called Lexus corporate. The mechanic was out. There was no system in place so anyone would've followed through for Pat. Matt had me picked up, and brought to the dealership, to get a loaner vehicle. Mr. Buglak is relatable, professional, organized, empathetic, and cordial. All the paperwork was ready for my signature, and the vehicle was waiting and clean. At 8:10am EST on Wednesday, Pat called and told me his manager called Lexus, and the repair wouldn't be covered. Every question or statement I made was followed by one word from Pat, "ok". His lack of energy, care, concern, and disinterest were extremely obvious. Also, how did he already have a response from Lexus' corporate offices by the time he called me? I got off the phone and contacted Matt, to request that he be my service advisor. Thereafter, I called Lexus, who agreed to pay for the repair. I conveyed that Thompson had quoted me 70% over Lexus MSRP for the B-Pillar Trim, and 43% over MSRP for the Door Run. When the loaner was picked up by a driver, and my car was returned, I immediately noticed that the car was NEVER washed nor vacuumed. That's Thompson Lexus of Willow Grove. No indication on the invoice of what was replaced or filled with the maintenance, and the space when the next maintenance is due was left blank. They are a poorly managed dealership with bad communication, and many lazy employees. They didn't put in effort to deliver for me with Lexus corporate; that was my relentlessness. Again, Matt Buglak is a phenomenal guy. If you must get service done at Thompson Lexus of Willow Grove, because it is your only option, request Matt- the person who should be elevated to manage the service and parts departments, as well as hire, train, retrain, or let go of complacent, neglectful, and/or indifferent employees who don't bode well for the superior Lexus brand.

I discussed the vehicle with the salesman, Jim, who reassured me that all of their cars are inspected by their shop and that this vehicle had no issues. I drove the car approximately 90 miles home. Shortly after arriving, the engine began making a loud, concerning noise coming from the belt system, and the heat also stopped working. The following day, I took the vehicle directly to a Volvo dealership near me. After inspection, they identified approximately $5,000 in necessary repairs, including a complete rebuild of the accessory belt system and a clogged heater core. The Volvo dealer also informed me that it appeared something had been added to the coolant system. Additionally, I noticed belt conditioner sprayed throughout the belt system, which appears to have been used in an attempt to temporarily mask the problem. I have contacted Jim, as well as someone named Scott (who I believe is part of management), multiple times and provided full documentation of the issues along with proof of the minimal miles driven since purchase. It has now been over a week, and I have not received any acknowledgment or response. Yes, the vehicle was sold "as-is." However, the condition presented at the time of sale was significantly different from the issues that were later discovered, including what appears to be attempts to conceal known problems. After researching online, I have found other customers reporting similar experiences. I strongly advise exercising caution when considering purchasing a used vehicle from this dealership unless you are prepared to potentially face significant repair costs shortly after purchase.

We are so glad though because it led us to finding my dream car at MB FW, and the sale manager Matt M. communicated and made the deal come together quickly, he was fair, and transparent. He answered car questions and helped at least half a dozen times with my questions AFTER the purchase. Our sales associate Brittany (Meghan Markle twin) - she was SO kind, and SO patient. I was coming from a car that was almost 20 years old so my learning curve was steep. When we arrived she spent no less than an HOUR going through every last single button on the car and setting everything up for my preferences. She knew the car inside and out. We were floored, and didn't expect it but appreciated it beyond what we knew at the time because it was alot for my husband and I, both coming from our college cars that were before cars became so high tech. We appreciated her knowledge, after coming from another dealership where we tried to buy a car, but the sales woman couldn't answer ANYTHING, and kept pushing us towards a car she had in stock, when we had explained a bench versus captain seats were a non negotiable. We would have stayed with her for the search but she could not answer a single question about the car and also thought it was an electric vehicle until we pointed out it was a gas powered car with a battery feature. We lost out confidence at that moment. My husband and I buy and keep cars for the long haul and although car buying is an awful process usually, MB FW (Matt and Brittany specifically, went above and beyond on numerous occasions for us to make it a smooth transaction both before AND after purchase which is when you really learn about a sales persons character. We are so grateful.

I wanted to write this short review as a follow up on the great service provided by Tom & son's at their great establishment. So, I went into Philly a few weeks before the big snow storm and possibly hit a speed bump, and possibly caught some air with a not so smooth landing. Two weeks later we had the biggest storm of the year. I had to leave my home and I drove on a street near my home that hadn't been plowed yet. After that I started hearing a scratching sound every time I left my driveway and occasionally on the road. When I checked I saw I had dented a panel that covers the front end of my car. I decided to head to Tom's one day while doing some errands to see if he could take care of it. Just a pop-in. I told what had happened and he could actually see it from just looking under, so he can let me know when to bring it in and all that. He figured the part and asked if I had bought it already cus I did bring him my fog light before. He remembered. So I told him no, he'd have to order it. He said to bring it in and they'd use the lift. In my head I was like, really now?! Cool! A young man I believe his son, asked for my keys and drove it in and put it on the lift. He said the damage was minimal and nothing else seamed to be at all. He took out the panel and reworked it back to normal. The whole experience was only about 20 min and the cool part was they let me stay inside while doing it! They brought the car down and asked Tom "How much I owe'ya?" He said "Nah, don't worry about it." I said really? Let me at least give you something for lunch or something for you guys. And he said you're good don't worry about it. I thanked him with a firm handshake and hug and thanked his son as well and went about my day. It was a minor thing but it had a world of difference to me, not only that he didn't charge but just giving that feeling of how my fellow man could help me out in a time of need. I was very relieved because had that not been fixed other issues could arise (Think of Newman when he hit that sewing machine on the highway) that's what I was worried about. Hahaha! This business is truly in my heart and should be in yours too, so stop in, they are local! I said I'd be visiting them again, and I was riiight! :)

I was in and out in under 2 hours; a welcome change of pace from my prior car buying experiences elsewhere. That said, while I've only visited their service department twice - once for a flat and once for an air-filter sensor - I am very impressed so far with the service team. They seem very customer focused; again, not my usual experience with car dealerships. There appears to be a sincere effort to address the concerns of the customer as well as educating them. I appreciate this approach immensely. Faulkner of Willow Grove is definitely worth considering when car shopping as well as for service.
