I ordered the taro milk tea with lychee jelly and it was smooth, creamy, and just sweet enough. My partner got the strawberry milk tea with kiwi boba, which was fresh and delicious. Both were excellent. Easily better than Sugar Milk. Bonus points for the menu variety. They also offer Vietnamese coffee, which is such a great addition and not something you see at every boba spot. My friend and I sat for literally hours and caught up, and spent time chatting with the owner and generally just soaking up the atmosphere of the place. Now to the reason we went there: the coffee! He has a great machine and a nice blend of coffee. We had lattes and they were terrific. Very smooth and nice. My friend also ordered a quiche - and adding to the quirkiness of it all, the owner said he hadn't gotten his delivery for the day but would call the nearby place that makes them and make sure he got them there soon! And a short time later the "quiche guy" came with them. I didn't try it, but my friend said it was quite enjoyable. And the fact that it was delivered just made the experience kind of delightful. After discovering the tiramisu latte relies on the cream top that can only be made using cream and no non-dairy products, I decided against that one. Without the cream top, it's just a vanilla latte she told us. Typically the pistachio latte is made with syrup and a pistachio butter but she said even the pistachio butter is made with condensed milk. We wanted to confirm paying for a pistachio latte would be the same as paying for a latte with syrup added and she said it would, but again she seemed kinda annoyed or impatient by our questions. Not friendly service at all. It came out to $8 for an iced latte ($1 for non-dairy milk) in an albeit cute container but it was just subpar.
