Do Better, PS Property Management. Our Community Deserves It…read more As a longtime homeowner in Highpointe, I can say firsthand that PS Property Management, and specifically our community manager Chris Hashisaki, have failed to meet even the basic expectations of professionalism, transparency, and responsiveness. Requests for records that should be easy to share digitally are stonewalled behind outdated certified mail requirements -- even though state law allows for "electronic or reasonably available formats." When questioned about lack of enforcement of clearly documented nuisance issues (like persistent dog barking), Chris's response was essentially "go talk to your neighbor." Meanwhile, any issue you bring up seems to immediately trigger a complaint back at you, whether or not it's relevant or legitimate. It's retaliatory, dismissive, and completely unprofessional. Residents are treated like a nuisance instead of valued stakeholders in the community we fund and care about. There is no accountability, no effort to listen, and certainly no transparency. Even requests to view the HOA's management agreement -- a basic right under Texas Property Code -- are denied unless you jump through hoops and pay per page for what is almost certainly a digital document. This is not how a community should be managed. Chris H is not the right fit for Highpointe, and PS Management's poor policies and practices are enabling this dysfunction. Homeowners, take note: we deserve better. And we have every right to demand it.

Both experiences were rather unpleasant and I would recommend using anyone else for realty services. As a tenant Steve is extremely passive aggressive to a childish degree and trying to request any maintenance work the few times we did in the two years we rented was always a hassle and an ordeal. He was so unpleasant to talk to I avoided it most of the two years we rented and luckily only had to do so a few times. During the buying process our realtors worked with him and through him the buyer and we had several delays due to him not getting paperwork ready in time and they complained to us several times how unhelpful he was during this process. They had worked with him before but never had the issues with communication and gettings things in on time like they did during our process.

Steve is extremely rude, was extremely difficult to work with, was very belittling, and mansplained to me the role of a property manager when I have myself owned and rented out a house before. He tricked me into thinking that he was the kind of property manager that cares about working with people and their circumstances, which was one of the reasons I chose that house. He was very hard to work with when I had to relocate home to Colorado for a few months for brain surgery (and what I was asking was not a lot, not even to end the lease.) When the lease was over, I reached out for a scanned copy of the deposit check and he never got back to me. When I followed up over a week later to ask more sternly for the copy I was entitled to, he presumptuously assumed I was asking because of roommate issues and told me to leave him out of it. He was belittling, presumptuous, rude, and unprofessional. And this is on top of his general lack of help with maintenance requests and overall unhelpful attitude with inquiries over the 2 years renting from him. I'm praying he doesn't respond to this review and attempt to gaslight me or justify his poor behavior as he's done with other reviewers here. Do not rent from him if you want to be treated respectfully or professionally.

Kelli and Victor of the leasing team were so great to work with and were super responsive. Looking forward to continuing to work with the gang through property management and any future leasing. Thank you!!

Cleaners came 3 weeks after move in & vacuumed, mopped the floors, cleaned toilets and changed trash. They were there for less than an hour. After move in, they changed my house number. No notice was given, no lease amendment was signed prior to change. I found out when I got back from visiting family. I then was told "It's not a big deal just call the companies to get everything fixed on your bills". it took an entire morning (4+ hours) to get things fixed, with no compensation. I still do not have my mail key and I have been here 3+ weeks. Every time I ask, they tell me to go to USPS & it's not their responsibility. I went to USPS and they did not have the keys which I told were dropped off. Still no mail. Overall, not a great first impression. I am military & move around a lot. I would not recommend this property management to future movers. I love the builder, Maurice. He is very kind & attentive, he's actually assisted more with the utility switches than anyone. The place is great, minus all of the things listed above. Moving across the country starting over again at a new duty station, this has been less than ideal. Very much added stress that could have been avoided. I believe they moved me in way too early. ******** Within an hour of posting this, they did reach out to me and were incredibly professional & attentive to my feedback. I was assured it was taken seriously, so I do believe these issues will be completely resolved for the next tenant.

The agent showed us the property via a virtual tour, and verbally confirmed that a 12 month lease was available, and to put in an application. We submitted our application (2 adults, 68 dollar fee per application) on Monday, September 1st and got confirmation on Wednesday September 3rd, 2025 that our application was approved, per two conditions: 1) a certain move-in date, and 2) a 16-MONTH lease. Immediately texted back and confirmed that we would not be moving forward, as this was a textbook bait-and-switch. The agent said she would reach out to the Broker, Tim Hendricks (Broker/Owner) of Hendricks Real Estate, and see if a 12-month lease was offered and if not, to give us a full refund as we VERBALLY CONFIRMED with the agent that a 12 month lease was doable before submitting the application and paying those fees. Tim Hendricks came back and said there was no refund. Awful, awful experience, and would warn others to get everything in writing when dealing with this business. Please see attached for the actual listing of the property and text conversation with said agent. Note that there is no term limits, etc. on the listing.

Unfortunately, a few months after our lease started, they sold their business to Hendricks Real Estate... From there, it became extremely difficult to get responses by email or phone, and even straightforward requests like renewing our lease dragged on for weeks. Despite multiple emails and voicemails, no one followed up about the renewal, which ultimately forced us to make the decision to move out rather than risk being left without clarity. Once the property was being re-listed, Hendricks required me to coordinate directly with outside realtors for showings -- and those agents repeatedly told me they couldn't get anyone from Hendricks to respond to their questions either. It was confusing, disorganized, and frankly, unprofessional. Move-out was more of the same -- vague communication, nitpicking over small details, and no real effort to make the process smooth or the charges transparent. If you're considering renting through Hendricks, be prepared for delays, poor communication, and to handle most of the coordination yourself. Pros: I did love the home we rented. Very cute and nicely updated, clearly a lot of love was put into it by the Homeowner.... just wish the property management company could reflect a similar level of care and professionalism.
