I cannot say enough nice things about this hotel!
Not only were the staff friendly, helpful and professional, but they even bagged up lunch's for us on a morning that we had to leave super early for a tour.
The decor is absolutely beautiful and reminds me of Moulin Rogue in Paris.
The rooms all have Burlesque themes. Our friends renting the "Dressing Room" which included an armoire of hats and bustier's for a dress up session. Which we did! We were so excited that we bought dresses just so we could have a fun photo shoot in the Dressing Room.
The food in the main dining room was amazing! I had snacked all day so I just got a salad - but oh what a salad it was! It was covered in yummy goodness from nuts to goat cheese to croutons to chicken.
My friends ordered steak and seafood dishes. Everything was delicious!
My room overlooked a courtyard and was extremely quiet. Thank God, because I am a light sleeper.
The hotel and our rooms were spotless. The hotel was obviously remodeled because it sparkled and dazzled. You would not know that from the outside. So, looks can be deceiving.
Lastly, the price was excellent & included a large buffet breakfast. Sadly, I forgot to take a photo but there was a plethora of breads, salads, eggs, bacon, cereals, fruits, cheese, coffee, teas and juices etc. Everything you would fancy in the morning.
If I ever come back to Lisbon, without a doubt, I would stay here! Next time, over the weekend so we could take in the burlesque show! (it wasn't running on the Tues/Wed night we were staying). read more
