My carpets were so dirty that I was considering replacing them in the master bedroom and on the stairs. This is very powerful and pulled pet hair out of the carpet, even after they did the initial vacuum. I should add that previously, there was a professional housecleaner who came one per month. In the past, the carpet cleaners I had hired used a handheld carpet cleaner.
