I had to get 2 electrical panels updated (replaced) in a duplex, for insurance requirements. No one likes being forced to do work, and after getting a quote for 10k which gave me major sticker shock, I pinged Max Electric who within a day, quoted me FAR less. I got an appointment that week, which was important as I was under a time crunch. I just wanted good quality work done and to satisfy my insurance. Scheduling was super easy. They even work Saturday. The ability to communicate over text is appreciated. Note: Day of the work I messed up and missed their calls to let them into the building. So I was over 1.5 hours late letting them in to get started. I felt terrible. They were not mad at me, (thanks guys), didn't give me any attitude (wouldn't have minded if they did), and got to work immediately. They then finished ahead of schedule. Super nice and professional. I confirmed the day/time and when I asked for them to confirm it was for an estimate, not the work, they said they wanted to come onsite to complete the work. I figured maybe it was just a miscommunication... However, when I reiterated to them I only wanted an estimate they then asked for pictures and what was near and behind the toilet. We needed an electrical retrofit to be completed in part of our home as well as updating the circuits in our kitchen. Max Electric (we dealt mostly with Andrii) did a great job quickly updating our wiring (we unfortunately have plaster...so lots of holes and mess) and also made some nice suggestions (such as: considering an outdoor outlet and a heated towel rod). They also pointed out and made corrections to some work done from other electricians (many thanks)! They had to take down all of our light fixtures during the retrofit, and in retrospect I should have cleaned everything before they got put back up again (as everything was covered in dust)...just assume that you should move everything you can to make the job go more smoothly.
