Today I tried to exchange (not return) a pair of unworn pants. I had removed the tags because I typically wear the same size, but having lost a few pounds, I tried these on and they were a bit roomy. I don't have a local Torrid so while traveling I brought them two weeks after buying hoping for a size down exchange. They refused despite me having exchanged multiple items in the past in similar circumstances. They have no real policy in place. I've returned and/or exchanged multiple items without tags over the years with no issues at all. If they had been consistent about this over the years I would be less bothered by it, but having had successful returns in the past, I'm frustrated with their lack of customer service. The pants were unworn and undamaged, just missing tags. I would have even paid a restocking fee for the tags. I have spent thousands of dollars a year at this store but now that I know my store loyalty isn't worth an exchange for a $45 pair of pants they will never see another dollar from me.

Each dress style I've tried fits differently so, that's the chance you take when ordering online, right? Well, here's the fine print... NO REFUNDS! And, every dress is minimum $100. I started with a 1X and it was too big. Went down to XXL; that one fit and was kept. $183 (see photo) I still have several hundred dollars of credit and will have to keep ordering until the next one is cute on my body. Oh! And thirdly, you have to PAY $12 each time you ship a return. I'm about to order my 6th replacement... wish me luck. I was greeted today by a beautiful woman working the front desk today and she was such a vibe to talk to. You could see her just glowing because she loves working here and I am ALL FOR IT! She showed me where the dresses were and I was in heaven trying them on because the dressing room had great lighting and a big wonderful mirror. The prices can be a little high but they always have great sales which you really get your money's worth. Each dress will not fit the same tho, I'm a size 16 so 1xl is my size and not all will fit when zipping up the back you may need to take it to a seamstress just a heads up...

After a mix up with the payment method, I called customer service, who then assured me that the entire $40 late fee had been waived and I was left with a balance of $0 after paying off my card. Imagine my surprise when I opened a subsequent statement and there was a balance for the late fee and late fees for the late fee! What??? So I called CS again who at first told me there was nothing they could do, but then later in the call told me they could waive only $15 of the $31 fee. I said fine, I would like to pay that off now. Oh wait, they said, it is a $9 fee to pay it over the phone. Hold my beer while I pay it online I said. So I pay the new fee online, but the credit won't show for three days, and I tell them to cancel my card. She says she cancelled it but I see no confirmation of that in the account and she refuses to send me a confirmation email. Protocol, she says, is I have to just believe her and the confirmation will be coming by snail mail in 7-10 days. Will this headache ever end??? Seriously. Save yourselves!!! This has been a PSA.
