If you've been wanting to sky dive, book this now! The views alone up the sky is amazing. I am so happy I didn't chicken out on it and can I say I skydived in Maui. The online booking system is convenient. I booked a partner sky dive 3 days before our jump and luckily, the weather was forgiving and we were able to do our jump. The instructors know what they're doing and not once did I feel unsafe. & you should definitely get the video & photo package! Important information: this airport is in the middle of the Hana rainforest. It will take about 2 hours to make the drive from Wailea Beach area. It is so worth it if you have a full free day since the drive to Hana there's so many to see!! read more

Man I had a blast skydiving with Robbie and my wife eho jumped for the first time today said that Matt made sure she felt safe and comfortable. This was my third jump and so far the best from the beginning to the end. We did have to push a day for weather, our jump wasnt until 11am, but they called at 6am to explain we werent jumping and why. Totally understandable with the weather in Hana and just glad we planned to stay a couple nights so we were only 10 minutes from the airport! We had such a great time in Hana jumping out of Matt's plane! This was hubby's first jump and my second and it could not have been better. The whole crew was focused on educating us and keeping us safe. Man those views. Wow. We stayed the night in Hana the night before so we were super rested and not car sick for our jumps. Boy we had quite a time trying to go skydiving- Sunday was our original date but it was too windy to go. It was our planned road to Hana day so we continued on our trip. We were rescheduled for Tuesday but Robbie told us it was raining. So again cancelled. He said let's try Thursday but our flight was at 1:15. He booked us for 8:30am and we hoped we would be able to skydive. The clouds were gray and it did rain on our drive there but it was sunny!!!! The girls were so happy they got to go! Robbie is such a funny and nice guy in person- put our minds to ease as we watched the girls go with the skydivers. They loved every moment and can't wait to skydive again! read more

It was my first time skydiving and the people at Maui Skydiving made you feel like they're your best friends with having your back (pun intended) with ensuring you feeling comfortable, excited, and ready for your adventure. I felt safe and secure and the instructors added enough levity to relax you even more so. Even with their banter of watching YouTube videos to learn how to Skydive. From the plane ride up, to jumping out and free-falling for 30-45 seconds, to parachuting down and seeing the beautiful water and islands around you was just breathtaking. Amazing, amazing, amazing! This is a company I trust to hold my life in their hands! First, you have to drive the road to Hana to get there, which took about 2.5 hrs. It's a scary and intimidating road forsure. So just leave real early, take your time driving slowly and safely, and you will be just fine. I do recommend booking one of the earliest time slots for your skydiving just Incase weather delays your jump or other people scheduled ahead of you delay your jump as well. Be patient and understanding. The company cannot control the weather. So please be understanding when they have to cancel you last minute. The drive there is long and tough, but there are tons of food spots and sightseeing spots to pull over and enjoy instead incase you think your long drive to Hana was a bust in the end. I was scheduled for 10:15am. They texted me around 6am the morning of my skydive to let me know that it was raining that day and I had a 40% chance of skydiving and a 60% chance of it not happening. I appreciated the heads up greatly. I took my chances and still went because like I said before, if I get canceled in the end then I atleast get to explore all the food/sightseeing spots on Hana road, so it wouldn't have been a total lost. Thankfully it didn't rain when it was my turn. However, it was cloudy and the skydivers will not jump if they can't see through the clouds. I love how safe and cautious they are from beginning to end. Thank goodness they found an opening through the clouds and I got to successfully and safely skydive! Due to weather delay, I ended skydiving around 11:45am instead of 10:15am. I purchased the Big Kahuna. I was attached to Robbie. Ed was the one who video recorded me. Both skydivers were extremely knowledgeable in what they were doing, both very calm but easily hyped you up to get excited instead of nervous, and updated me every step of the way so that there were no surprises. The front receptionist is a young lovely female who was also very easy to talk to and gave me updates. The pilot is extremely skilled and watching everyone work together so well as a team made me feel very safe. Worth the drive and my money! I'll forever recommend the company! read more

First it was the weather and then when we were finally going to head out on the road to Hana we got a call informing us of a car accident and a down pole. I rarely leave reviews anywhere on the internet unless they really deserve it, and Maui Skydiving definitely hits the mark. I arrived at Hana Airport and was welcomed by the team even though I was around 2 hours early. The process was simple, and they made sure I was feeling as reassured as possible. (It was my first time skydiving so there was definitely the inevitable fear that couldn't be pacified.) They taught me everything I needed to know, let me steer the plane a bit (I was hesitant because of my irrational fear of crashing the plane) and the parachute when it was deployed. Visiting from New York City (notoriously known for old white businessmen with no time to pay attention to tourists), I can definitely say that the team from Maui Skydiving was by far the nicest people I've met in my life. I didn't have a car, so I was unprepared with the knowledge that there were no Ubers on the east side of the island. Robbie, the instructor who greeted me when I arrived, was kind enough to arrange travel for me from Hana to Wailuku: either travel with him via car, or fly with the rest of the team when they commute home. Without his help I would've most definitely been at a loss. After skydiving I decided to take the rocky trail from Hana Airport to the Black Sand Beach. Somewhere along the way I must've taken a wrong turn, and was left completely lost in the middle of the cliffs. When I called Maui Skydiving for help, they were quick to fly and find me, and execute a safe rescue for me. Definitely an experience I would never forget. If I were to return to Hawaii I would definitely consider skydiving here again - not just for the skydiving but for the gracious and welcoming team. read more

It was a first time sky diving experience for me and my wife and I can not be happier it was with Maui skydiving. Located at the Hana airport, everything from check in to the skydive itself was very smooth. The divers made us so calm and kept talking to us throughout the plane ride till right before we did the actual dive. The dive was absolutely serene and out this world experience. This was my first dive but I'm sure nothing could beat having a free fall to the ocean and then paragliding and seeing the tropical forest on one side and the vast ocean on the other. Booked a skydiving trip to surprise my son when he was coming to visit me. Told him we were just driving the road to Hana and then stopped at airport Matt the owner could not have been any nicer and the two guys that my son and I were strapped to, tandem jumps, Jack and Jay(?) were incredible it was one of the best experiences of my life. It was absolutely magnificent. The plane flew to end of Hana showing us the red and black sand beaches when we jumped I had no anxiety or fear at all. It was crazy. At age 69 I did my first jump ever with Maui Skydiving, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience. I did a tandem jump with Robby, and he was great - he was confident and reassuring, and explained in detail everything that was going to happen. The rest of the crew were great too, all very nice people. The pinpoint landing was amazing, starting at 10,000 feet, we landed exactly where predicted, on the field next to the runway. I recommend staying in Hana the night before and maybe after. Two reasons: First, the fabled road to Hana is a slow drive, so plan two hours minimum, depending on where you start from. It's not as forbidding as anticipated, but you just have to take it slow, relax, and be polite to other drivers because there are a lot of one-lane bridges and innumerable sharp, blind curves. So it's better not to do it in the same day. Second, because of the weather, you have to be flexible with timing. My jump was scheduled at 10:30 AM, but we didn't get off the ground until 4:30 PM due to wind and cloud conditions. For me that was no problem because I was staying in Hana. If I were trying to get somewhere else that day, it would have been rushed - and you came to Hawaii to relax, right? All in all, highly recommended, and I will do it again if I ever get back to Maui. read more

Feel like I should leave two reviews because our tandem jumpers were INCREDIBLE and deserved 5 stars! It was both my husband and my first jump, I jumped with Rob and he was with Jay. Rob was extremely knowledgeable and made me feel so comfortable and safe the whole time. He explained everything as it was happening which I loved. My husband said Jay was great too, but he didn't get as much explanation because he wasn't showing his nerves as much as I was. They both had a great sense of humor and made our experience fun. Couldn't have had better guys for our first jump. The business portion was where they lose a star. I was expecting more than a kiosk at an airport with a mosquito infested tent to roll the parachutes and suit up in. After all, for people that don't do this every day we were scared for our lives and that didn't instill much confidence. We overheard this is their first year of business so they were still trying to get permits, which is why they have a tent and not a building. I had more "training" when I did indoor skydiving, which I thought was weird, but again as a first timer I didn't know what to expect. At one point while suiting up we overheard the owner talking about some trouble getting the plane started (which we have since been told by a pilot that is common with planes like those) but we feel that it was very shady not being upfront with us. Overall, we had a FANTASTIC experience and are so glad we chose to skydive in Maui. I'm sure with more time the business/operations aspect will improve. read more

Maui is stunning and the location of this airport in Hana has ruined me for further skydiving because of how beautiful it was. Robby was my instructor and he was so kind and explained all the historical spots that we could see from the plane. He also made sure I knew all the safety precautions they were taking and it made me feel totally at ease. My wife and I came to Maui looking for adventure for our honeymoon and the first thing that came to my mind was "skydiving!!!" I have 1 previous jump and she never skydived before so I was really looking for her to have a great first experience. Let me tell you that Maui Skydiving did not dissapoint. We arrived to Hana airport and within 15 - 20 minutes of walking through the door we were already suited up ready to jump. The instructors are very laid back and make you feel comfortable and even the pilot had good vibes. Combined between the 2 instructors, they easily had 10,000+ jumps under their belts. After we reached the proper altitude to jump, we had the single most beautiful sight I would imagine anyone could see during a jump. Then the jump, free falling, the parachute pull, and gliding down back to the airport made me speechless. If anyone is second guessing doing this, please do not hesitate because, you will take this memory with you forever. read more

Matty and his team were absolutely amazing. Not only did they spend time with us going over the incredible nature of skydiving but they got to know myself and girlfriend as well. His team all had over 7,000 jumps and were incredible in teaching us the techniques we needed for our tandem jump. They were incredible in their instruction and making this such an amazing tandem jump. We took off over Hana and cruised to our drop altitude in a great Cessna 206. The views were incredible. Once we exited the aircraft we had the most spactacular views of the coast and blue waters. Once the chute deployed it was like being with your best friend as my jump instructor and I talked about the jump and where we were landing and joked about how much fun the ride was. My landing was so soft. It really was the best experience I have had on Maui. My girlfriend and I could not have asked for more. read more
