Açaí bowl
Megan Y.

This was our first stop after landing in Maui. We were super excited to try the açaí bowls and they were so sweet and welcoming. Definitely check their instagram for locations as Google Maps/Yelp may take you to the wrong spot for where they're located that day. We had to walk around 1/2 a mile to get to where they actually were. The bowls are packed with fruit and are great. They do have (what tasted like) an açaí blend at the base rather than a sorbet, which is good but I do think I personally prefer the sorbet style, but my husband loved his.

Maui fruit ninja did not disappoint! We had been looking for their stand off of the beach board walk near Kaanapali beach. When we saw they weren't there we checked their Instagram for an update and learned that they were at the farmers market on that day! We almost didn't go... but thought let's make the drive out there! So glad we did. As soon as we found the booth we were greeted by the sweetest staff! They made recommendation and helped us navigate the menu. The "bowl" carved into the pineapple made the whole experience very aesthetically pleasing. The bowl was topped with so much fruit that it was nearly spilling over the pineapple. We topped it with some almond butter to add some creaminess to it all and we're glad we did. For the size , I did think it was a little over priced but I understand Hawai'i is a bit more expensive.

The fruit bowls here are amazing. This is a food stand currently at the Nāpili Farmers Market on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Please check their IG, we originally drove to the beach and walked around until I looked on their IG page. We ordered their pineapple bowl, which is an array of fruits and a scoop of mango sorbet and açaí in a pineapple. This was enough for two people!

Got the fruits in a pineapple and it was amazingly refreshing! Wait was about 15 minutes but totally worth it. Just follow them on social media to see where they'll be. Amazing service and highly recommend!

...what an experience it was to have Maui Fruit Ninja while visiting in Hawaii! Maui Fruit Ninja was tucked away near a resort that seemed to host a variety of vendors, which made it a bit difficult to find at first. Once located everything seemed to move fairly fast. Despite the long line, we had plenty of time to browse their menu as there were various options to choose from making it impossible to arrow it down. I truly appreciated the ability to customize the bowls to our likings! Here's what we ordered and how we rated each item: Best Seller Açaí Bowl 4/5: This açaí bowl consisted of a strawberry base with their mixed seasonal fruit! Everything from the base of the bowl to the fruit toppings was extremely fresh! The only thing I would change would be for the fruit to be a bit more sweeter as we had an Açaí bowl the day before and enjoyed the sweetness from the fruit a bit more. The fruit was fresh, but some of the fruits lacked sweetness. Dragon Mango Twist 4/4: This seasonal drink was enjoyable, but the dragon fruit flavor was barely noticeable. It tasted primarily like a mango drink, and we felt it would have been better with a lighter touch of mango and a stronger presence of dragon fruit for more balance and flavor. All in all, we would definitely go back as the freshness of the fruit really made the bowl and the drink what it was!

It is all that people say and more. Yum! Super fresh and really good. We went to the pop-up market to get this. The line was insane. We waited a while (maybe 20 minutes) because it was so busy but it was worth it. They gal taking orders was really organized and kind. We had the acai bowl with honey and granola. It looks so pretty when you get it~ they take pride in their work. Refreshing and delish!! I cannot reccomend this place enough. Its worth the hype.

We love Maui fruit ninja! The açaí is homemade and so good! The bowl is the pineapple which is a nice touch. We kept following them around at the Napili farmers market and by the hotels... it was by far the best açaí bowl in Maui. The granola was tasty, the macadamia nuts are a nice touch, and it is gorgeous! Service was quick and friendly. Nothing beats eating this pretty bowl by the ocean!

Made a stop at the Napili Farmers Market before heading to the airport just so I could have this! The girl was super sweet and it was awesome watching her build all the bowls/drinks! A must buy while in the west side of Maui!!! Their mac nut butter was amazing!

Back again. Fruit Ninja does not disappoint! You just must try it. The açaí bowl is fantastic. The fruit is so fresh. Brad and his team are so friendly. I needed to take a couple of bags of granola home as it is so tasty. How can you beat waiting by a beautiful beach for your order. They are opening a storefront in January. Can't wait to go when we come back to Maui. Enjoy!

Along a beautiful boardwalk on Kaanapali Beach I enjoyed an incredibly fresh, tasty, and delicious pineapple açaí fruit bowl. Service was so relaxed, friendly, and kind. The presentation of the açaí bowl was stunning, bright, and the fruit tasted refreshing. If you're in Maui, definitely stop by! They also have some delicious drinks to choose from as well. I am excited to see that they are opening up a storefront very soon. Highly recommend this local business!

Got an açaí bowl and the pineapple combo bowl, added the strawberry and açaí sorbets on top. A little pricey for chopped up fruit, but was wowed by the beautiful presentation!! This place can be busy so be prepared to wait a bit in the sun!

OMG. MUST have ninja fruit bowl to complete your Maui vacation experience. At 9:30 am the line was only two or three people deep and service quick. Love the aloha spirit by the sweet young lady taking fruit orders. At Ka'anapali ocean resort (KOR) boardwalk tents are lined up at 9am-2pm with local craft folks and ninja fruit stand. I love having all the tent shops coming to the resort. Such an awesome beach and shopping experience. Back to the fruit bowl... one pineapple bowl is definitely enough for two to share. The fruit is super fresh and delicious. Such a healthy snack. I would definitely recommend the pineapple bowl if you're ever on the Westin KOR resort.

The Maui fruit ninja is family owned and they are so sweet and genuine. I got the pineapple bowl with a scoop of açaí and mango as my base. I added granola, honey, and macadamia nut butter. The way my jaw was on the floor because this was the best bowl I have ever tasted! The fruit was so fresh and sweet it was 1000% worth the wait! I got the lava flow smoothie and it was also sooo tasty, but the açaí bowls are the star of the show!

Spacious inside with plenty of seating. Pricey, but to be expected. Definitely the best option of the nearby Napili places. Service a little show if it's busy. I enjoyed the turkey pesto panini and my custom turkey sandwich for the plane ride home was large and fresh. I did order some croissants for the kids, and they toasted them, which I wish they did ask beforehand as I would have said no. Overall, a great option nearby. Is it the best you'll ever eat? That's bold, but it was perfect for the location.

The customer service was okay, female worker wasn't as friendly with us as she was with the person in front of us. I came for an acai bowl and got the island vibes açaí and added cacao to it, this açaí bowl is not the sorbet type, but a blended açaí (I didn't know that). This is just personal preference, I don't like blended açaí because it melts quickly. The lilikoi butter is a fun idea, but I don't think it blended will with the bowl itself, it was bitter. My friend got the Cali style breakfast burrito and it was a small wrap and hardly "Cali" style at all. It was just giving breakfast burrito. The salsa was giving it came from a jar We also got an unsweetened matcha, if you have high expectations for matcha, I'd skip n go elsewhere. Overall food was good but very over priced for what you get. Go support the native Hawaiian locals instead of this spot, just being real.

Hey, it's a convenient place to grab something to eat and maybe some coffee. Located right near the Westin pool. They got a lot of good snacks here. The people helping you are really hospitable. They're open really early (5:30 AM!) for all your early hikes and adventures. My favorite part was the little baked goods section, but they also have made-to-order pizza, nachos, and açaí bowls + refrigerated sandwiches, salads, fruit cups, parfaits, ice cream (Hula Cookie ice cream sandwiches too!)/ pops, drinks, as well as chips and crunchy snacks. Since I didn't try any of the hot foods, this rating is based on their baked goods and service. I got to try the banana bread, blueberry muffin, pineapple puff, vanilla cupcake, and coconut cake. Would recommend all of them except the vanilla cupcake which was dry and the buttercream had way too much butter (felt like I was just eating butter). My favorite was the giant blueberry muffin, which came with a sugary crunchy top and super moist, blueberry-studded interior. So good! The coconut cake was also soft and creamy, loved that it came with some berries. The banana bread was overall tasty, but what elevated it was the caramel glaze that was super sweet and addicting! And the pineapple puff definitely tasted like pineapple with its apple pie-like filling consistency-- pretty good, but I liked the others better! The staff were all very nice and welcoming~ The downside is that everything is pretty pricey here, but you are buying from a hotel! There's a Safeway and Foodland a short drive away for better deals (especially on fruit), but you're paying for the convenience at Mahele too.
