Chicken Basket
Vickie R.

The host was all smiles and super friendly! He let us choose our own seating, as we had an injured skier with us. Many cozy areas to choose from and great view of Attitash across the street. Love the music choice of the café too! Our waitress was very efficient & sweet. She kept checking in on us, and even offered to refresh our injured skier's ice bag . She also took some great pics of our group for us! The food was perfect and hit the spot. So many options! I went for the chicken basket which contained the most delicious heavily breaded chicken I've ever had- super flavorful and very well seasoned. I've been hunting for the best fries around, and I think if not the best, this one is definitely a close second. Hubby ordered the meatball sub and said the meatballs tasted homemade. Most definitely not from a frozen bag of meatballs. He said the sauce and mozzarella was also delicious and he could tell it was made at the restaurant. Our party all agreed the food was delicious and the beer options were great. There were some mixups with one or two of the rounds of beers, but that did not dampen our experience here. All our food came out HOT and FRESH. Prices were fair. Highly recommend this cozy café for a nice homemade snack or meal after a day of skiing/riding!

At the end of the day it's a cafe in the front lobby of ski resort. You aren't planning your best meal of vacation here but def most convenient. Pizza, Buffalo tenders were good. Burger (hot and sweet) was ok. Fries were bad. Paying $8 of the smallest piece of grilled chicken for top of salad (crazy small amount of lettuce too) was insane. But I could walk from room here and back in less than ten mins so can't complain!

Hamburger pizza

Great service , awesome bloody Mary's, onion soup was to die for on a cold winter night. The Pizza. We'll be back!

We stopped in to Matty B's for a quick bite to eat. Heard good things about the food. We "designed" our own pizza with sun dried tomatoes, red onions and bacon. It was absolutely amazing. No greasy in the slightest, Considering the cheese and bacon. The sauce was just right too. We just might have to make this a place to stop when we are back and forth. Was pretty packed at 3pm but service was terrific even with school Vacation.

Pizza is so good - we loved the crust (kind of like garlic bread) and the poutine is delicious! I like supporting the locals here and am appreciative of their hard work especially during ski season!

Matty B's delicious Buffalo chicken wings with a delicious crisp Coke. A great Mountain view.

Wings! So good! A delicious simple but delicious meal. The chicken wings were large and meaty, not like most places that seem that less is better... Matty B's do wings right! We were staying at the on-site resort and decided to check this place out and was very impressed with the friendly staff and fast service. In the off chance of trying skiing I'll most definitely be coming back since there's a sky lodge across the street. I recommend also the salads. They are prepared and presented well, a modern feel and excellent quality

Great bar and staff. The tee shirt does not suck. Excellent pizza. Big tap selection. Good food that comes out tasty. Key intelligence gathering spot for mountain fun.

While the kitchen wasn't open until 5, we grabbed seats at the bar--and we're so glad we did. We were greeted by Sarah, our bartender for the evening, who made incredible drinks--her espresso martini and lemon drop were next-level. When we mentioned some frustration with our hotel booking, her husband Brian (also on staff) overheard and went above and beyond to help make things right. The two of them were a fantastic team, and their kindness really turned our weekend around. Once the kitchen opened, the food didn't disappoint. The onion rings with cheese sauce were chef's kiss--we literally said they were "10 stars." The margarita pizza was delicious and generous enough for leftovers the next day. If you're in the area, definitely make a stop at the Tap House. And do yourself a favor--order one of Sarah's signature drinks. You won't regret it

Whether you're winding down after a day on the slopes or simply looking for a hearty meal and good drinks, this spot offers a satisfying evening. Cocktails The cocktail menu impressed, especially the Allagash Blueberry Smash made with maple syrup vodka and fresh blueberries--a creative, flavorful New England twist. Everyone at the table agreed: the cocktails here are a highlight. Rating: 9/10 Entrees - Spicy Texas Brisket Pizza - Brisket, onion, jalapeño, cheddar, mozzarella ($28.75) This was a solid choice with a crispy crust and a good kick of heat from the jalapeños. However, the pizza leaned heavily on cheese and could've used a bit more brisket to balance it out. A great option for sharing--easily split among four people. Rating: 7/10 - The Bear Burger - 8oz Robie Farms beef, white cheddar, bacon, pulled pork, onion ring ($23.75) A beast of a burger in all the right ways. Rich, juicy, and layered with smoky, savory goodness--this one will leave you full and happy. Rating: 9/10 - Potato Crusted Salmon - Served over spinach, topped with honey mustard ($28.75) Sadly, this dish was a miss. The flour taste overpowered the crust, and the texture didn't come together as hoped. Lacked the finesse you'd expect at that price point. Rating: 2/10 - Yankee Pot Roast - Potatoes, carrots, celery ($37.50) The absolute standout of the evening. Hearty, comforting, and packed with flavor--you can tell this dish simmered all day. Tender meat, perfectly cooked veggies. Worth visiting just for this. Rating: 10/10 Desserts We tried the: - NY Style Cheesecake - Dark Chocolate Mousse Cake - Red Velvet Cloud Cake - Warm Apple Crisp Blossom à la mode Each dessert came with ice cream and offered something for every sweet tooth. For me, the Warm Apple Crisp stole the show--comforting and nostalgic with the perfect balance of cinnamon and crunch. Overall Ratings - Food: 8/10 - Cocktails: 9/10 - Affordability: 6/10 (A bit on the pricier side, but portions are generous) - Ambiance: 9/10 (Live music and ski lodge aesthetic made it cozy and fun) Final Thought: If you're staying at the Grand Summit or just passing through Bartlett, The Tap House is definitely worth a visit--especially for the live music, cocktails, the Bear Burger, and that unforgettable Yankee Pot Roast.

Our server was really friendly and helpful when deciding what to order. My boyfriend loved his meal. He had the Flying Elvis Peanut Butter and Jelly Belly appetizer as his meal. I had the Italian Ice Cream Cone which is basically a meatball sub but they hollow out the roll and stuff it with the meatballs. My food was just ok - but it's hard to truly impress me with Italian food at restaurants. My only complaint was that we waited a LONG time for our meals. We were watching all of the people around us who sat after us get served their appetizers and meals while we were waiting for our food. We waited for about an hour before we flagged down our waiter to tell him. He was upset on our behalf and went to the back to tell them to expedite our food. Interestingly, our food came out not even 5 minutes later. We arrived at the restaurant at around 1:30 and didn't leave until about between 3-3:30. I was a little bummed that what was supposed to be a quick meal before we went back out on the trails, took us a long time. We purposefully didn't order appetizers or entrees because we wanted to be in and out. Even with the long wait, we would probably go back to Moat Mountain because my boyfriend loved his food so much. It's definitely worth a stop in.

Highly recommend the Moat, you can't go wrong with anything on the menu and they have one of the best breweries anywhere.

We were concerned because of the holiday weekend; we would have to wait, but there was no waiting today. Just walked in. My friends who grew up here were surprised by the small crowd, as this was a popular hangout for them. Turns out the Red Parka has new owners, and it appears the neighbors /locals are not happy. My friend was hoping for a steak. Apparently, that was a hot ticket item in the past. The staff was very professional and attentive. And the menu was above average. Though there was not a crowd, the food did take a bit of time, but we were catching up with our friends and it was fine. When the food came out, most of our dishes arrived on silver trays, which seemed odd. My friend was a bit taken aback by the changes. I guess Red Parka was more of a nice dinner option for people with plates and napkins. One of our party had salmon, so it was served a bit more formally, and overall they enjoyed it. My drink was actually quite good, but I was not sure about the margherita chicken tacos. They have a lot of seating indoors and a patio outdoors. They also have a bar area and provide live music. So, worth a visit.
