DO NOT BUY MATTRESSES FROM HERE. For the sake of your back, time and money!! I cannot express enough how upset I am with the whole experience. I purchased x5 hybrid pt-t-matt and it didn't work out for me. The mattress just kept sinking in and got softer each time after use. My back felt worst than ever. I was sleeping on the floor just after a week of the purchase. Even my old mattress didn't feel this bad. I had to go back to the store for an exchange but Patrick who originally helped me out was not there and the guy at the store insisted that I come back when Patrick is available. MY TIME WASTED. He could've helped me out but refused even after I asked for help. He said something that much sounded like "we are salesman and have different lines and tactics we use to fool the customers and since you got fooled by Patrick and he was the one to take the commission I stay out of his business so he can clean up his mess himself". It was all skeptical from the start. I purchased the mattress for $700 discounted but the original price was well over $1,000 with tax. PATRICK MADE ME WRITE A REVIEW ON GOOGLE FOR MORE DISCOUNT. This only tells one thing. Mattresses are way priced up so they can play around with the number and fool the customers into thinking that they are getting good deals. When I first purchased the mattress Patrick explained to me that if anything ever goes wrong with the mattress it can be exchanged easily and the difference amount will be refunded back. He did not explain to me about the $99 delivery fee that had to be paid separately on top of what I had already paid. Being unaware of this I was not happy but had no choice and settled down with a mattress that was firmer for the sake of my back! Patrick said since I downgraded my mattress the amount I will be getting $220. He even highlighted and dated next to the amount on the receipt. I paid $99 for delivery fee so I was actually only getting back $121. I waited a 3 weeks only to see $35.20 back to my account. The night of exchange Patrick made two things very clear: that I will get back $220 as an exchange refund and that I pay for $99 delivery fee. I paid the fee but did not receive what was promised. I can't believe so much time was wasted for this stupid mattress that doesn't even feel comfortable. My time is very valuable but Patrick or the other guy at the store don't value it because all they do is sit around and look into their phones all day. In conclusion I spent $700+ $99 - $35.20= $763.80. The current mattress I am stuck with was only $599.99 and as I mentioned they play with the price so if I were to have purchased this initially it would've only costed me $200. This is the worst customer service experience I have ever experienced. First, they over charged me because they rung me up for the wrong size. I then called them 3 hours after I left the store because I found a place online that was almost $700 cheaper + $200 visa gift card. Since my mattress was a week away I called and said, "I want to use your company IF you can match this deal. If you can't I'll have to refund my purchase." After a few phone calls my salesperson said yep I got approval we can match your pricing. I have he voicemail. This was Black Friday 2016. Today is 2/15/17 and everyone at mattress warehouse has been nice but a liar or non responsive or both. Go to their store waste their time but buy online. Save the hassle after the fact. We recently bought a new mattress at this store. Behdad spent about an hour with us, and picked out a good variety of mattresses for us to try. Behdad was very helpful, knew everything about all the mattresses in the store, and had good suggestions about other mattresses to try or why one or another might not work for us. The store was clean and well organized. When we first arrived, we laid on a computer-sensor mattress that figures out your pressure points and suggests a range of mattresses. Based on what this program found, Behdad gave us a list of mattresses to try, then answered our questions as we slowly worked our way through the list. We have bought other mattresses at this store years ago, and have always found the salespeople to be helpful and knowledgeable. I would gladly shop here again. The store carries the full price range of mattresses, starting in the hundreds and going up to $10,000 for a king, memory foam mattress. The two guys who delivered the mattress were also great. They were quick, careful, and courteous, and even used shoe covers when they walked so as not to get our floor dirty. read more

I bought my first mattress from Sleepy's, which was a TERIRBLE experience (mattress had to be replaced twice within a year and a half). A few coworkers who have been in the area far longer than I recommended Mattress Warehouse. Steve helped me and was EXTREMELY well informed and helpful. I had probably close to a hundred questions, and he had close to a hundred answers. He really made the shopping experience great, and gave me a great discount, too, which is always appreciated. Ok so I had a good experience on testing all the mattress, found one I liked. My mom ordered it for me as a birthday gift and to be delivered on my birthday November 5th, and the installer guys said the bed converter didn't fit a queen size mattress so I'm left with my new mattress on the ground and my bed post all apart this has dragged on for two weeks. This was the worst birthday because I had to wait from 12:30 to 5 for them to being my mattress so I sat at home all day on my birthday, when I Could've out and about. Great experience with Gary at this location, after a very pushy sales experience at the location in Springfield on old Keene mill rd. I told Gary what I was looking for and he directed me to the temperpedic beds and the items in my price range. He left me alone to try the beds I wanted, and told me to let him know if I needed him. He was so low key and not pushy at all! It was a great experience, and he even gave me a nice discount. I wasn't expecting to buy a mattress that day, I was really just getting a feel for what was out there, but I got such great customer service, that I bought one that day. We bought an $800 mattress over the weekend and when the delivery men came they were extremely rude to my wife and refused to put the bed upstairs (we have one set of stairs and it's straight up so what's the big deal?). I wasn't home to help and they started cursing at her and said "we're not movers"! I asked when I bought it if they would set it up upstairs and they told us yes. Terrible customer service. They sold me a frame that was not the right size. I returned it the same day and put the bed together only to find out it was too short of a frame as well. Sitting on the end of the bed would cause the top half of the bed to flip up. I tried to return it and was told it was a final sale. Terrible service from the manager. read more

Store was clean and neat. The salespeople Ray and Behdad were great. I was able to narrow down my choices with the help from the salespeople. The sleep machine they showed me helped a lot as well. We bought a mattress and then found it for cheaper before it was even delivered. After several calls they said they would match the price and they sent us some money, but not all of it. They say they will price match, but they don't. They charged us for a box spring and it was like pulling teeth to get that refund. We went to the store to get a new invoice and they made it seem like it was us who was overcharging them. DO NOT USE THIS STORE. It is the worst. I came on here Saturday with a friend who needed an upgrade from a cheap, older mattress. Behdad had my friend try out the diagnostic machine which gave us three mattress recommendations for her body type. I went to find a new mattress and found that there was a Sleepy's and a Mattress Warehouse in the same shopping center. I went into Sleepy's first and found a great mattress for a great price. Just to be sure I was getting the best mattress and price, I went around the corner to mattress warehouse. I talked with the store manager and he was quoting that mattress prices were as marked on the price tags. Since I had just been to Sleepy's I realized that Mattress warehouse doesn't have as good of sales as Sleepy's. Since the mattress price and quality were both better at Sleepy's, I went back and purchased it from them! read more

I purchased a new king mattress and box springs from the Winchester, VA, location on 12/14/19. My salesperson was extremely knowledgeable, professional and polite. However, on the day of the delivery, 12/20/19, things took a very ugly turn. Despite having already paid for the removal of the old mattress and two box springs, the delivery guys refused to remove the old mattress due to three urine stains caused by my pets. These were very old stains, mind you, were not "serious" stains because they had been cleaned immediately, and how no odor to whatsoever. I was told that the mattress was considered a bio-hazard and the delivery guys could not put them on the truck with other mattresses. Never mind the fact that these were old stains which had no odor to whatsoever. Never mind the fact that ALL new mattresses and box springs come delivered SEALED in thick plastic wrapping. Never mind the fact that nothing was said to me about this when I placed the order. And, to make matters worse, these same delivery guys who refused to take the mattress, offered to "help me out" by taking the mattress if I paid them each $10 and paid the disposal fee of $30, which is apparently the disposal fee in Fairfax Station, VA. Upon calling customer service in Frederick, MD, the customer service manager, John, couldn't have been any less concerned and more cavalier about my situation. The fact that the delivery guys were willing to take the old mattress for an extra $50 was, as John stated, "between me and the delivery guys". I then asked John to pick up my new mattress and box springs and give me a refund. His reply was, "that's not going to happen". I then stated I would contact the BBB, to which he simply stated, "go right ahead". Now, folks, I ask you, is THIS the kind of company you want to support by purchasing their products??? I purchased the previous mattress and box springs from this same company. Obviously, customer loyalty means nothing either. Save yourselves a lot of heartache, folks, give your business to a company who truly appreciates their customers, not only during the sale, but more importantly, in customer service. Needless to say, I will never make a purchase from Mattress Warehouse Sleep Happens again. Their customer support is even lower on the food chain than some of the sales people you find at used car lots. I will continue to fight this to include contacting the BBB and Channel 7 "On your side". Companies with this mindset should not be in business. read more

I never leave reviews but I really have a responsibility as consumer to warn others of this deceptive store. I can't speak for Mattress Warehouse as a company but only for this Fairfax location. I had serious back issues and came into the store for a mattress. The sales rep was top notch and took the time to walk me through all our options. That's not the problem. The problem is the sales rep rung me up for the incorrect mattress and when it was delivered to my home the next day it was the wrong mattress and the WRONG size. Because it came into my home they would not accept it back. We called within an hour of the delivery, which was less than 24 hours since the mattress was purchased that there was an error. The manager of the store gave us the run around to buy them more time to fall past the 24 hour purchase window, and we were waiting for a call back from him and the regional manager FOR DAYS. The call never came. I had to start a credit card dispute with my credit card company, and after almost a two- month investigation they rejected my claim. Please beware!!! I just wanted the correct mattress in the correct size! I am an honest consumer and was treated incredibly POORLY by the store - they did not even want to take any steps to correct my situation and get me the right mattress! I paid premium for a premium mattress - I was willing to invest in my health after suffering from a herniated disc. Now I'm stuck with a premium $2500 mattress, still in it's plastic wrapper in my home that I cannot use with my bed frame. In this day an age a company that does not have basic customer service standards should go out of business. I should have ordered my mattress at Casper, Leesa or ANYWHERE else where I felt like I had consumer rights. I plan on filling an official complaint with the FTC and the state consumer protection office. read more

Do not buy from this establishment. We bought a very expensive mattress in December 2014 and we are still trying to get it delivered! The first one we bought arrived in about 10 days. However, it was so uncomfortable for us that I called them the next morning to say we'd have to exchange it. It also had been delivered with a tear in the box spring, which we didn't see because the delivery people set it up. I was told we HAD to sleep on it for 30 days, to get used to it and "break it in." I am 60 years old and have never had to break in a mattress. So we kept it until we could exchange it for another. We made a choice and it was "processed" on 3/6/15. After 2 weeks, I started calling the store and salesman who sold it to us, to see where our mattress was. He had no idea, but keep saying he was looking into it. I finally called the corporate offices the first week of April and left messages, as no one answered the customer service line. No one returned my call. I finally spoke to a person on Friday, 4/3/15, and that person told me he'd check into the problem and get back to me by the end of that day. I am still waiting to hear from him and it's been 10 days now. I have called the store and talked to the salesman several times since and still nothing is happening. At this point, I am truly sorry I bought anything from them, especially this ridiculously expensive mattress! Today is 4.23.15 and we are still waiting. I should not have to hound these people to get the product we bought. At this point, we are working with American Express to get a refund. read more

I would never ever shop here. The guy who was "helping" me with was very rude. Perhaps the rudest man in my life. I called before I showed up and asked for the cheapest mattress. Since I am a college student and am just doing an internship for the summer, I did not want to invest $200 on a bed. He pointed at this one $160 mattress and I did not really like it so I was looking at a memory foam and he said "No I am telling you. Your mattress is there." Uhmm I know? Memory foam is more expensive but I thought that I could take that mattress back to where I live because I can fit that in my car. I asked some questions and he said in a very very rude tone, "What's your name? I know that you are a college student and probably smart, but you don't know anything about mattress. so listen to me" He was very rude. Does he have a thing for college students?
