My family has used Bras and Mattos for over three generations,there simply are not enough good words to describe how much attention to detail and the quality of service that these people provide. The pricing was comparable and actually less expensive than the monument package the cemetery across the street sold me during a very difficult time in my life, but their service is what you can not put a price tag on which in our case has been priceless. When my brother passed it was very unexpected and while my parents were in another state handling issues, I came home and went to the cemetery to handle the arrangements and I did not know about my family using Bras and Mattos at the time I made the mistake and let the cemetery handle the monument for my brothers grave site. After four months of back and forth phone calls and emails (some unanswered) and price changes that were drastically different from what was originally sold I requested a refund from the cemetery for the costs of the monument only and went across the street to Bras and Mattos where my family has been getting quality service for more than forty years. Bobby, and his crew strive to provide excellent customer service, from the very first time I walked in to talk with them about my brothers monument all the way to now (five years down the road) when there was an issue that occurred. I called Bobby and he set an appointment to meet me at the cemetery the following morning and take care of the issues and he even went above and beyond and provided a much needed cleaning of the monument at no charge. As if dealing with the loss of a loved one is not hard enough, not being able to find a marker is devastating. The cemetery had two "local companies everyone uses" so we looked them up. After the other marker and monument places had either not returned our calls or emails after multiple attempts my brother and I found this company. They worked with us on a custom design and the marker was done within the time promised. The marker was reasonably priced and it's beautiful! Jim helped me with the lay out and and designing the marker for my moms grave- (sounds surreal) nonetheless- Pricing* they are very reasonable prices and will work with you regarding the full payment unlike cemeteries and most places who suggest and demand full payment upfront The ordering takes about 4 weeks so something to keep in mind and then additional timing for mounting and laying the marker Customer service: while Jim has been nice courteous and patient I felt like I was definitely the one driving- but perhaps that is bc he wasn't pushy which I liked just wish there was more follow up such as a call half way in to say hi Semiko just checked status and here's where they are something like that- I kinda felt like I annoyed him when I kept calling to check status- I would definitely recommend this company just make sure you keep following up- I haven't seen my finished product yet so my review will be updated... It's now April 25th I've received the call that that my moms marker was ready for installation and even relieved pictures of the final product.
