He revised the stencil when I pointed out that the characters appeared thin and did not match what I had ordered. After the stone was fabricated, Ryan expedited the engraving and installation process so that I could show the site photo to my siblings in Asia during my upcoming trip. Their customer service is garbage. Spoke to Ali, then she dropped off the map. Turned out she was out of town, but no one picked up the ball to let me know. Then no return emails, so I called and spoke with someone else. Then he never returned an emails. Finally Ali tells me my emails have been going in a spam folder. Ok. Turns out the prices she quoted me did not include everything. Why would you quote a price that was not complete? When she did email it was brief but not comprehensive in regard to my questions. Not a good communicator. They might do great work, but I won't find out because they won't be getting my business. read more

The needs of my family were not the norm. My Grandmother decided she wanted to be cremated and have her urn placed in the same plot as her Grandmother. This particular headstone was almost 60 years old and we needed to be creative to ensure we were able to memorialize my Grandmother on the headstone. Not only were they able to add my Grandmother's info and photo to a 57 year old headstone, they updated the original headstone so it looked practically new! It was my first time in my life I need it this service for my dad who passed away last year in thanksgiving's night . The community helped me to get the grave but I was extremely thoughtless how to get the headstone done . When my mother recently passed away unexpectedly, I was thrown into making arrangements for her. While we had talked a little bit about her desires, we never got to the point of choosing a burial location, or what decisions would need to be made. My brothers were in town for her final days and we rushed to schedule a service and burial so they could get back to their families and their jobs. Mostly, this meant taking what was available and going with it. The burial marker/headstone was pushed aside as something to do later. There are not enough words to express my gratitude to Ryan, Ali and the team at Bras&Mattos Monument. I laid my husband to rest on July 2020. A couple months after his burial I started to seek for places to start on the process of his headstone. As always, I utilized Yelp and came across this family owned business with highly rated reviews. I was a bit nervous as the beginning of his funeral arrangements were a bit rocky with finding a funeral home, cemetery etc.. and just dealing with another business brought mixed emotions. I contacted them and started working with Ryan and from that day it was smooth sailing. If I could paint a picture of the countless correspondence between Ryan and I during the designing process, it would probably be a whole gallery. There were times I was indecisive and times I just changed every single thing from the day before. However, Ryan was very patient, kind and sincere the entire time (a whole YEAR). Fast forward his stone is ready and that morning I was so anxious to see it as it's been a year of designing it with Ryan.
