Mattison Minis is nothing short of amazing. I have used them on multiple occasions; one for a large work event, once for my Black & White themed birthday, and one for a friend's birthday (that was super short notice!) For the work event, we asked for an array of things. Emily (the owner and baker) did not let us down. The lemon curd was to die for, the mini cheesecake is the best I have ever had, and she brought macarons, cupcakes, and ended up putting protein energy bites in little goodie bags for our guests. Talk about going above and beyond. Her desserts were a HIT. Absolutely nothing was left at the end of the night. My Dirty Thirty was a theme; Black & White. Can you really make black and white treats? She made black macarons, Oreo cheesecake, and mini cupcakes. Did I mention I'm a vegan and she was able to make me vegan black and white cookies too?! Then my boyfriend let me know we were going to his mother's house with less than 7 days for me to prepare or bring anything! Emily popped into mind, and she was able to walk me through what might be right for the family. They told me they love chocolate cake and carrot cake, and instead of choosing one, she made carrot cake cupcakes with cream cheese frosting, and chocolate cupcakes with chocolate buttercream frosting. And, I'm sorry, but was the bottom of each chocolate cupcake packed with chocolate chips?! *drool* My boyfriend doesn't even like cake and his exact words were, "That's ridiculous. This is stupid good." Now my boyfriend is super excited for his birthday so he can have lemon bars and blondies....haha! Anyway. Everything is so good. She needs to be your new go-to. Not to mention she's so sweet and easy to work with.

I only have a couple words to say about this baker and bakery, and that is.... BOOK HER!! You will not be disappointed by the talented owner and baker Emily! We have known Emily for years and have been tasting her sweet treats and creations with happy hearts and open mouths. There has been nothing we haven't liked. She's made me chocolate cup cakes with peanut butter cookie dough frosting that is to die for and her mini cheese cakes are the best! Recently I asked her to make my daughters first birthday cupcakes and macaroons. Emily did not disappoint and her treats where a hit! I had to save a few for myself for after the party. Emily is on time, responsive, open to new ideas and willing to try new designs and creations. She is talented and smart and I know she absolutely LOVES what she does because it shows in her yummy treats. I couldn't recommend Mattison Mini's enough!!!

Emily makes all kinds of treats and takes requests. This is my latest purchase and it did not disappoint! Plus you're supporting a small local business! Highly recommend! Thanks again and see you soon!

Bite-sized mini cheesecake poppers?!! Where have you been all my life. So light, like clouds of goodness yet still packing that cheesecake punch on the palate. From chocolate Oreo and raspberry swirl, to key lime and egg nog, you can't go wrong trying all the flavors. The festive packaging was also adorable. Thanks Emily! I can't wait to try your other goodies. If they're anything like the cheesecakes, life will be goooooood. Cheers to the truly delicious!!

The thin crispy sourdough was very tasty and the pizza was piping hot with lots of flavor. Pecan chocolate chip was good too, chewy with good balance of flavors. Would recommend.

Thick, chewy, perfectly charred crust with a sourdough tang that you just don't get from regular pizza dough. Toppings are fresh and generous without being overloaded. Grab a slice (or a whole pie) and you'll understand why people plan their day around what flavor is being served. The sourdough bread is just as good -- crackly crust, open airy crumb, and that deep tangy flavor that tells you it's been properly fermented. This isn't supermarket sourdough; it's the kind of loaf that makes plain butter taste like a gourmet experience. It's a worker-owned cooperative too, which makes supporting them feel even better. Expect a line, especially on weekends, but it moves quickly and is so worth the wait.

The women working at the counter were so sweet and patiently explained the menu to me as I was picking out my treats. I ended up getting their Okonomiyaki Danish, Banana Milk Milk Bun, and Yuzu Meringue Bun. The danish was probably one of my favorite savory pastries I've ever had! I loved the crispy layers, and the flavors were absolutely on point. The Banana Milk Milk Bun had a great banana milk custard filling that was prominent yet not too overpowering. The bun itself was incredibly soft and had a topping that reminded me of a pineapple bun or a concha, which I loved. The Yuzu Meringue Bun was slightly on the sweeter side, but it was filled with a delicious, tart yuzu creme that paired perfectly with the crispy exterior. Aside from their iconic Okonomiyaki Danish, they rotate their menu with different flavors of milk buns, cream buns, croissants, and other baked goods, so I'd love to come back to try their other items. It's also an Asian-woman-owned business, so I will definitely be recommending this spot to others!

Croissubi ($6.25): A cold croissant and thin piece of spam slapped together. The inside is mostly hollow and there's really nothing special about this at all. Green Onion Croissant ($5.75): Tasted like a very bad and dense version of green onion pancakes. Black Sesame Snickerdoodle Cookie ($4.75): Took a few bites to really get into it. If you're a fan of sesame you might enjoy it, but I learned that I much prefer normal snickerdoodles.

First of all, has the world seen Stella the cat? (see adorable logo!)…read more I wandered in here by chance and was hoping to find maybe one vegan sweet treat? Let me tell you, I was NOT READY! Not only were there sweet treats & coffee, there was an overabundance of vegan options here!! So much in fact, it was nearly problematic because I couldn't decide what to order! When a coffee shop or bakery has something other than a vegan bran muffin thing or maybe one vegan cookie, it's a rare happening (for me!). Not only were there vegan croissants and (v) pain au chocolat, there were OTHER (v) croissants too!! PISTACHIO!? Pistachio CHOCOLATE?? There was a savory one with mole and polano peppers too! I couldn't decide so I ended up picking up 3 different vegan pastries. Blackberry & coconut something, pistachio croissant and the Mole Poblano goodness. 10/10! I added a horchata latte to accompany my delectable treats! I noticed there was also an entire loaf of vegan milk bread too! I'll have to find my way back to this part of the bay to try the other flavors. I want to also add that the workers here were super sweet and didn't seem to annoyed by my enthusiasm for their copious vegan options. They were really kind and seemed amused actually. Vegan or not, I highly recommend coming to this bakery. Everything in here was phenomenal!

So many fresh baked options to choose from. I went with the pistachio croissant, chocolate chip peanut butter cookie, and a latte.
