Lagged on fixing my Kia. Then when it was ready I couldnt come the same day to pick it up so he had it parked in his parking lot area. Someone tried breaking into it, shoved foil into my key hole. Assumed it was just a one time thing so i came back for a second repair after a semi wheel hit my car. He didnt put the clips on my back bumper so the underpart hangs from time to time. Then he kept pushing the finish by date blaming part manufacturers ( 4 times ). He never put the cap on my front wheel cause he was waiting on it. Dude never reached out, if he even recieved it. He even asked me if i was trying to get money from insurance, because he could say it costs more. I didnt need the money at the time but obviously he did. Shitty half caca work. Dont come here unless you want the run around. Too bad so sad. read more

What a breath of fresh air to finally find someone I can trust to do my auto-body work. He even saved me money by getting me some used parts. I highly recommend going here if you need repairs. Highly recommend this business. My car insurance sent me 2 choices for damage estimate; went to Ben Clymer's, did not get a good vibe, looked up reviews, and reached out to Matthew. From start to finish, he went above and beyond, by advising me on car rental, putting me at ease, checking in with updates and wow, when I got my car back, it looks better than before the accident. He had the car detailed to clean up my headlights and fixed a door issue, neither of which were part of the estimate. Matthew is super professional and puts you at ease. Don't hesitate to bring your car to him! read more

I have to be honest at 1st I was a little unhappy at the work that was going on and how long it took but I forgot to taken to account it's a 117ﾟ out and these guys are working their butts off anyway they did a great job when I had a problem he addressed it and was so respectful that I'm gonna smash my car and bring it back to him :) lol they're good people read more

It's always stressful trying to find somewhere to work on my van while traveling full time - it's my home and transportation - and finding a business I can trust as a solo female can be anxiety ridden! However thanks to Yelp I found Matthew's Auto body shop for some damage done on the side of my van. Totally felt at ease with the communication and quote and scheduling - everything. Meeting him - totally got trustworthy vibes. The work they did on my van is INCREDIBLE! Plus they washed the entire van and it looked better than when I got it. Can't recommend this place more. And lifetime guarantee on the work they did - outstanding! Thank you Matthew and team and Yelp!! read more

I wish there were more than five stars to give a business because I'd fill the page! I recently needed repair on my car for a an accident where someone ran into my car. I've never used an auto body place and was weary of being given honest help. Literally from the first phone call with Matthew I was convinced his would be the shop. He was courteous, knowledgeable, honest and so respectful of my time. He did everything! All I did was drop off my car and pick it up when it was done. He handled all the calls, back and forth with insurances and arrangements. He kept me informed the whole time and when my car was done it was as if nothing ever happened! I will ONLY now ever go to Matthew and will recommend him to everyone I know. Thanks Matthew! read more

I've had to take my old Lexus in to get fixed three times, all at Matthews Autobody in Indio CA. Matthew is so great, he tries hard to find used parts to keep the cost low. I don't have collision insurance and so I really appreciate it. My last fiasco required a new windshield and new hood. He got it all done in one week! Thank you Matthew, you are amazing!!! I had read other reviews that were really good too and so we appreciate you! All the best, Kristy read more

Matthew is the jack of all trades. He can do everything. I had an unfortunate event happen to my Audi where it had to get all repainted and Matthew changed the whole color of my car from Audi silver to Maserati blue. It made my Audi one of a kind and Matthew is very artistic when it comes to cars. I would highly recommend his new shop to anyone. read more

Matt has painted my car on 2 different occasions. First, my 2006 Nissan Altima was a stock repainting due to sand damage. I was very impressed with his flexibility and great customer service. Secondly, after vandalism to my car 2 years later, he made sure I was taken care of to the fullest. This time we agreed on a color change to a 2006 Chevy Tahoe color - METALLIC BERMUDA BLUE Beautiful color and I get compliments all of the time about it all of the time. read more

Matthew Auto Body is the best in the valley hands-down this is my second time taking my car to him and he always does an excellent job he actually explains to you what he needs to do without trying to make you pay more. It's hard to find somebody honest as him nowadays my family goes to him and he always does a excellent job he told me he would have it done in a couple of days and he had it done sooner than that he has five stars for a reason. He had to remove the letter emblems on the side on my fender because he had to paint my fender and he told me if I ordered them he would put them on for me. He awesome and I recommend him trust me you won't regret it save you're time looking at anywhere else that isn't a high star rating thanks Matthew you're the real MVP read more

Found Matt through recommendation of a mutual friend, and was NOT disappointed...needed roof and trunk hood painted. He communicated throughout, as weather was interfering with normal dry time, but it was WORTH the wait. I love my car, and love it even more now! See below. I will definitely use him again, and HIGHLY recommend him to anyone who is looking for an honest, hard-working person who takes pride in his work and won't let it leave his shop until it's perfect. read more

I was very pleased with Matthew's Auto Body repair shop. My 2010 Lexus sedan had some dings on it, but nothing major. He was able to sand off everything & repaint both front & back lower bumpers with perfect red color match. Matthew is an honest guy, who is fair in all of his estimates. I would most definitely recommend him. read more

I am so lucky that I found Matthew's Auto Body in Indio. Over the last year, unfortunately my poor 2014 Hyundai Elantra GT was rear ended and side-swiped plus the electric mirror was knocked off thus 3 separate areas needed repairs. I got 8 quotes for the work because each one was very different and I didn't have confidence in the people who did the quoting. Matthews was last and what a difference! He was straight forward and very clear about what work would be done and how much it would cost. I took my car there and to my pleasant surprise, everything turned out great. It was done on time, the color is perfect and it was the lowest price of all the quotes. I highly recommend Matthew's Auto Body!!! read more

I highly recommend this shop. I brought my car in for repairs to the front of the car from a rear ending accident. Matthew gave me a very reasonable quote. As they were performing the work and removed the front bumper, they discovered additional damage to the frame. Matthew made many phone calls to get the parts needed as cheaply and quickly as possible. He also did not charge me any labor for the additional work that was needed. I just had the car inspected for a lease turn in and did not have any charges for damage to the car - so his work passed with flying colors - which is amazing! read more

My wife and I had decided to change the color of our 2000 Corvette from a tired navy blue to a nice custom Yellow. We were concerned because color changes can be tricky if not done right. We looked around at several shops and spoke with several auto body owners, and shop managers while looking for the right shop. After seeing the reviews on Yelp, and speaking with Matthew from Matthews Auto Body, we were convinced that he would do a good job for us. We brought him our car and shared with him how concerned we were and that we wanted him to treat our "baby" with care. We left our car with Matthew as he assured us he would do a good job. After a little while we received a call to come down and see the progress of the car. All looked good and we knew that it would not be much longer. After about another week or so, Matthew called and told us to come see our Corvette. We could not believe how GREAT! our car looked. The car shined better than it ever had, and looked as though it came from the factory with this beautiful yellow paint. The cars shine was, and is amazing and we could not be more pleased with the outcome. What Matthew promised and what they delivered are exactly what he said. The professionalism and courtesy of the shop staff, and the quality of the work they do, far exceeds the cost that they charge. I most definitely recommend Matthew's Auto Body for and body work and painting that you may need for your automobiles. We are so pleased that we are having my wife's car custom painted as a gift for her birthday this year, and she can hardly wait. I wish I could give more than 5 stars, but that is all Yelp will allow. read more

My drivers side door was damaged in my Toyota Sienna minivan and I was dreading the whole process of getting it fixed, but these guys made it painless! I called to see if they could give me an estimate, Matthew did some research and sent me an estimate within a couple of hours. He had to order a new door which needed to be paid for upfront. The door arrived within a few business days. My van has a blizzard pearl paint color and I was concerned that it wouldn't match but he was able to blend it in to the adjacent panels and it looks great!! He had the van ready for me within 4 days. Bonus points: When I showed up, they had washed and cleaned the interior of my car - which I was not expecting. Matthew and his team are awesome! read more
