Recently had some body work done under my comprehensive auto policy. The appraiser who came out was very familiar with Indio Auto Body so with that endorsement and the 3 previous posters, I went there. I previously took my car to another large body shop in Bermuda Dunes on Country Club. They immediately gave me a quote that was almost TWICE what Indio Body did the work for. Do not be put off by the terrible location they are in. It is a row of dilapidated auto repair shops and what looked like a salvage shop. I noticed however that Indio Auto Body had several very high end Mercedes they were working on and restoring a classic car as well. When was the last time you got more than 100% of what you were promised..... and at no additional charge? That was my experience here. I was very impressed with the detailed condition of my car when I picked it up. And I actually felt embarrassed with all the little extras they did for me at no charge. I am very very very picky! I took my $100k 2017 BMW into the shop for damage on the passenger side. I was really nervous. I made a list ahead of time of things to ask and things to check after the car was done. 12 items or so. Ruben went over the repair process in details with me. I got the car back on time. I went around and checked EVERYTHING! It was perfect!!! Like brand new! The paint job, the repairs, the cleanliness! I'm telling you, it was perfect! They're not the least expensive repair shop in town, but again you get what you pay for. I told Ruben that I was going to give him .25 mark down for not vacuuming the car when I picked it up, so he offered me a detail instead! A++. Use with confidence! read more

Do not bother to go anywhere else in the valley, or the state for that matter. Ruben and his team are miracle workers. They are honest, professional, hard working fella's. They know what they're doing and you can depend on them to do what they say they will do. They get the job done in a timely manner at a price that is competitive with other shops. Word of caution, the price will probably be lower than the other guy. My husband and I have taken both our cars in for minor to moderate problems and have not been disappointed by the workmanship or the price. Go ahead and get other appraisals but you'll head straight back to Indio Auto Body to let them work their magic. This is a quality family run business. Ruben and his team take great pride in their work, do not cut corners and have always been completely honest. Ruben discovered and repaired faulty work previously preformed by another "premier" and "reputable" body shop in Palm Desert. He did the work quickly and cost effectively. I went to Indio Auto Body because of the good reviews on Yelp. We had a problem with the motorized seatback on an older auto. It could have cost a lot of money if we had to replace the part. Instead, Ruben found a work-around solution. So i found that the 5 star reviews on Yelp were justified. Ruben was very customer service oriented.
