JJ Upholstery has top notch customer service and super high quality craftsmanship. I brought my classic E46 BMW in for repair of a torn seam on the driver's seat bottom cushion. They matched BMW's black Montana leather perfectly and the stitching too. The seat looks brand new! Crazy good quality. So very happy I found JJ upholstery. Highly recommend! read more

I just bought my son his first car and the headliner was drooping, ripped and stained. We also had a rips in the passenger seat. I used Yelp! Projects and got bids from 5 companies. JJ's was the 2nd lowest and with all the 5 star reviews, I went with them. Mickey exceeded all of my expectations. As you can see from the photos the job he did was transformative and looks brand new off the factory floor. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! read more

I called JJ Upholstery and spoke to Miguel about redoing a pair of old MCM chairs for me. When I brought the chairs in he was helpful in making suggestions regarding the materials I could choose, and he offered a fair price for the job. He had my chairs ready in less than a week and they turned out better than I expected. He gave my old chairs new life and they look great! I'll definitely be recommending this shop to anyone looking to have something reupholstered. Thanks, Miguel! read more

We are so happy with our new seats for our old motohome. We chose JJ Upholstery after reading outstanding reviews here on Yelp. There's a reason they have great reviews. Miguel is very personable and communicative. After a short phone chat, I sent photos of the 2 front seats of the motorhome. With that he gave us an estimate for re-upholstering them. Miguel then invited us to his shop to help us choose a fabric. We gave him a deposit, gave him the seats and in no time at all we had brand new seats! They are gorgeous. The quality of his craftsmanship is second to none, they are perfect. And, BTW, the cost was very reasonable. I don't know how they do it!! We're so happy, and highly recommended JJ Upholstery. Great job on driver's seat re-upholstering job for my favorite Chevy Tahoe. Job was completed on time. Nice work on the fabric selection process! I have never upholstered a car before. Mickey (JJ Upholstery Agent) made it real simple. I sent him some pictures and he gave me an estimate without going into his shop. The work was done fast and efficient. Please see the pictures attached. (A minor hick-up) Just be mindful that when he does quote you the price, it does not include tax. At the end of the transaction, you will end up paying a bit more than the estimated price, but you can blame that on the California government. Great Job JJ Upholstery, I look forward to working with you again. read more

Best upholstery place in Southern California. This guy was the only guy who could fix my leather seat on a GMC truck. I have asked a bunch of other upholstery places and they acted like they couldn't do it. He did it the same day and he did it quick and he did it professional and it came out perfect. Thank you so much. Anybody questioning going anywhere else don't you need to go here? This is the best place to go to and I live in Oceanside went to Escondido wait. The driver's seat of my 2016 GMC Sierra was pretty worn and had a couple of tears. Looked at kits online to fix on my own, but determined nothing would adequately do the job so looked into having a professional do it. Found JJ Upholstery on Yelp and gave them a call. They were able to get me in and make the repair same day. Vehicle was ready when promised and even thought it ended up taking more work/material than originally thought, was only charged the quoted rate. Very happy with the result and service provided! read more

Miguel reupholstered 2 side chairs for me. He answered my questions upfront and did a perfect job. The cost was very reasonable; I provided the fabric, and he started right away and finished within a few days. He used a new dense foam for the seat cushions and new straps also. The chairs felt like sitting in a bucket before I took them in; they were more than 25 years old, but Miguel made them look like new. And they feel like new as well! read more

Had to get my four dining chairs reupholstered after 20 years of wear and tear. They answered the phone quickly and professionally, got back to my texts within minutes, and were reasonably affordable. Location is in a rented "loft" space in a metal work shop. Workers were bilingual and spoke Spanish and English. Work was well done and timely. Heck, they even offered to carry the chairs up and down the stairs to their business. Would recommend. read more

Was looking to get a seat restitched for my son's car. Found JJ Upholstery and reached out. Miguel responded promptly and gave me a quote after sending some pictures. It was close to closing time and I asked if I could bring it over and he said he'd wait. Told me the seat would be ready by 10am the next day. He contacted me ar 8am saying the seat was ready for pick up!! He had added more foam and reinforced the stitching all around. Looks amazing. Miguel was very friendly with great customer service. What I like most was that he was up front and honest. I told him I had a couch from a furniture store that needed some upholstery work done and he said that "honestly" the quality of the couch may not be good enough to do the job because the wood might not be strong enough and I might be better off buying a new one. If I ever need work done, I won't hesitate to go to Miguel first. Thank you!! read more
