I recently purchased a hall bench online. I loved the framework, but hated the color and pattern on the seat cushion. I searched online for a place near where I live because I thought it would just be more convenient. I found Franco's Upholstery's web site and read all about their business. I loved the part where they wrote "We believe what sets us apart is our singular commitment to honesty and great customer service." That told me that these people wanted my business and would do a great job to get me and keep me as a regular customer. My hunch was right! Raul, the owner, greeted me when I walked in. He's very friendly and helpful. I was a little overwhelmed by what looked like hundreds of books of fabric samples. I knew what color I wanted, but had no idea what type of fabric would be best. Raul asked me a few questions about where the bench sat, who used it and how much use did it get. He recommended a microfiber fabric because of its durability. He pulled out 3 books and left me alone to browse the samples. I narrowed it down to two, but was still unsure. I asked him if I could take the sample books home with me and promised I'd be right back. He didn't even hesitate....told me to take them home and see what I thought. I was glad for 2 things then. First, that I chose a place close to my home. And second, that I took the samples home because it turned out neither choice worked. Seeing it in the light where it would go made a huge difference. I chose a completely different fabric. Raul said it would take a week to 10 days for the fabric I ordered to come in. It only took a week and he called me right away to let me know. I brought in the seat cushion and he said it would be finished in 2-3 days. It took only 2 days. I just picked it up and I'm very happy with it. The fabric and color were perfect and the work was beautiful. Now that the seat cushion is back on the bench, it looks like a million bucks! Luckily I didn't have to spend that much on it. Raul's prices were very reasonable. I would recommend Franco's Upholstery to anyone needing something reupholstered. I will definitely go back myself the next time I need quality work done on my furniture. read more

I've gone to Franco's twice for upholstery. The first time was a few years ago for a set of chairs that Raul upholstered in a large geometric print. He centered the design on the chairs and matched the main seems. Both chairs were upholsered identically. He has a large selection of fabrics but he's also ok with customers buying the fabric elsewhere. The second project was a leather couch repair. We discussed the work and cost involved for several different options, and I decided to have him stitch the torn fabric and hide the stitching as best as possible. I'm really pleased with the result. The cost was reasonable and pickup, repair, and delivery went according to plan. I will definitely use Franco's in the future. read more

We have a nice dining room table and chairs that had suffered from many years of use and several long distance moves. Franco's picked them up, reupholstered the chairs, and refinished the table. The table looks like new, and the chairs actually look and sit better than new! Raoul came downtown, where we live, gave us an estimate, and made some good suggestions that we had not considered. Raoul was friendly and professional, available for phone contact always in less than a day, very customer oriented. The work was done quickly, and Raoul was able to accommodate a slight mid-course correction on the way the chairs were to be upholstered. We needed the table and chairs back more quickly than expected because we were expecting guests at our condo, and Raoul was able to meet this new schedule as well. Franco's does great work. They put a new top on my '65 Mustang and reupholstered the rear seat. Looks fantastic! Knocking off one star because they came in about $200 higher than original estimate (said it took longer than they expected).
