Sitting in these chairs was an experience I haven't had in Ethan Allen or even Jeromes. They hug you and support you in all the right places. I feel a little regal, to be honest. The problem was they were an assault on my senses. And I don't own bell bottoms or Saturday Night Fever. My husband had Morales Upholstery do some work on a boat, so he recommended them to recover my chairs. I brought my own fabric (thank you JoAnnes Fabric clearance shelf) which they told me was a total score. The result? Comfy chairs that don't scare away guests. We did have an extra $50 charge for padding that was not in the original quote. This is reasonable considering the age of the chairs.

Beware!!! Take your business elsewhere!!! Had GS Marine (Oceanside, CA) make replacement snap-in…read morecarpet for my boat. Provided Gayle at GS Marine the existing OEM carpet, which fit perfectly like a glove, to use as a pattern. Mistake I made was trusting GS Marine (Gayle) to have integrity regarding the quality of her work. When she installed the $600+ replacement carpet I did not stand over her shoulder (nor should I have to) and she did not report that there were issues with the replacement carpet's cut and that it did not replicate the OEM carpet's pattern as requested. Rather than thoroughly inspecting all aspects of the work at the time of install, I took her word that everything looked good and functioned properly. When I had time to check out the new carpet I found it was cut incorrectly in several places. The replacement carpet prevents opening and closing of the ski locker hatch and is significantly short in several locations, including at the stern (see attached photos). When I contacted Gayle she stated the it was my fault since I insisted she use the existing OEM carpet as the pattern, rather than allowing her to make a new pattern. That statement is completely false since I was depending on her expertise to determine how to best achieve the desired outcome. I asked that the carpet be fixed and Gayle took the main section of carpet. After several weeks (and many repeated unanswered calls to Gayle for an update) she advised I'd have to pay an exorbitant amount to have the section of carpet interfering with the ski locker removed and the edge finished. This proposed solution would result in a thin, weak strip of carpet in that location and would do nothing to remedy the short cut near the stern or in other locations. I refused due to the proposed additional cost and inferior solution to correct GS Marine's screw up. During the boat's first use with the replacement carpet several snaps have already failed (come out). Bottomline, GS Marine's craftsmanship is junk and their customer service sucks! Take your work elsewhere! If you decide to use GS Marine, don't take Gayle's word on anything, hold onto your money until after you complete a very thorough inspection and test the functionality of any work performed by GS Marine. Honesty, integrity, craftsmanship and customer service...all characteristics absent at GS Marine!!! Beware!!!
