Friendly, helpful, handled contact with insurance co for additional parts and work that was needed (the insurance cos rely on photos now to do their estimate.) I had a appointment for an alignment at 8 am, I get there and one of the workers said," oh we were supposed to call you , our machine broke and we can't do any alignments until 10 days from now", keep in mind people , I live in cathedral city which is a good 25 minute commute. A behemoth pickup truck backed into my 2013 BMW in the parking lot of a consignment store and, no surprise, I got the worst of the bargain. I took my car to Indio Collision to get an estimate to repair it and do a few other touch up fixes and was impressed right away by their professionalism. I got the estimate on a Thursday and they were able to take my car in the following Monday and finished the repairs in time for me to pick it up at the end of the day on Wednesday. Super impressed by the results--the car looks brand new--and by the fact that they cleaned the car inside and out and even waxed it for me before I picked it up. I came in with a couple scratches on the back and side of my vehicle worried that they were not going to be able to buff them out, but Art assured me they'd take care of me. In under 30 minutes, the scratches were completely removed (even an extra nasty one that was atop a dent). After such a great experience, I was fully prepared to pay for the excellent service but Art insisted not to worry about it. I've never had such excellent service nor service FREE of charge. Just payed 1,500.00 dollars for services on my truck that I had to re do some where else , turns out this guy placed the wrong gears I asked for 456 and he placed the 373. First time I used the 4x4 an interior piece broke. I took it to LA and when they took everything apart they were able to see it was not the 456 I asked for and I had to replace some parts because they told me they were not able to reuse those parts that were broken. I payed another 1000.00 dollars ( thanks Alcantar differentials) to get what I asked for . went back to Indio collision just to inform him that I knew what he did. Right away "oh nothing is wrong I did my job" thank god I'm blessed and not struggling financially but can't imagine some one being short of money and having to repay because of the lack of honesty. I just went today to go get an alignment and I had a really good experience. I had called the day before to schedule an appointment for eight in the morning and I was literally the first one to get my car worked on. Angeles and her crew were friendly and open and honest (I think) about everything. Once I brought my car and the letter from the insurance company, I did not have to bother with anything else; they took care of everything. They repaired some quarter panel damage in less time than others required, and repaired a factory epoxy glue overspill a foot away unrelated to the requested repair, without my asking, that I was going to have to ask the dealer to do under warrantee at my first oil change, undoubtedly saving time for that. Horrible job ever and the worst place to go to! Needed my car to be fixed from a head on collision after my insurance took care of everything they had the nerve to charge me $200 out of my personal pocket for something they did with my wheel that I never even approved of! When I went to pick car up the headlights were not done properly so I took it back they told me it was to be taken up with the dealership and wanted nothing to do with my car. Took it to my dealership and they couldn't even believe they sent me there , my dealership fixed it and charged Indio collision which I had to again goto my insurance to take care of everything . Never have I ever been so frustrated!! Been about a yr or 2 and still I'm having to deal with problems they didn't properly fix! I was in a 3 car collision on October 12th - AAA insurance had recommended Caliber Collision but they couldn't take me until Oct.26th- after reviewing negative comments on Yelp, I contacted Indio Collision - from the receptionist forward, they were so helpful - they thought they may be able to fix the car, but after several days of research, decided it was a total loss. They kept me informed constantly and Art said if it were his mother, he would recommend a safer means of transportation. I realize he had put hours of work trying to come up with a quote that would be acceptable. I therefore went to KIA (which I have posted a five star review and from now on, when I need repairs, I will always check with YELP first. p.s. When my 2011 Cadillac was damaged in a hit and run accident my insurance asked me to use this shop. I had reservations until I went to the dealer and they too advised this shop gets all of their work and they do very good repairs. The customer area is a professional office with seats and removed from the work areas and the personnel treated me very well. The repairs were done on schedule and all parts were authentic GM part as requested. My car was not only repaired and looked as good as the day I purchased, but they had also cleaned the inside and dressed the tires. I spoke with someone named Keithby phone initially and when I arrived. He acted like an owner. I don't know for sure if he is as he never identified his role there. Last Monday I took my car to him and the shop for an estimate. I am still waiting for that estimate to paint my Nissan. I called again today, a week later and was told by Kieth that it was " a busy week". I think it is a shame that they can not get an estimate for a paint job to a potential customer for more that a week. Even after today's call, I have nothing to show for my effort. I called around to several body shops and looked at many reviews before selecting Indio Collision to replace the "bumped" bumper on my 2013 Honda Fit. I went in for an estimate and Angeles Torres looked over my car, took some photos and worked up an estimate while I waited. She asked a few questions about an unrelated minor dent/scratch and the relatively undamaged "spoiler" under the bumper. I told her I didn't need the spoiler replaced or the dent fixed. She then said I could deduct those charges from the estimate. I shopped around for a replacement bumper and found some cheaper prices, so I called to see if I could supply my own bumper. I was told I could, but if it wasn't correct, I would have to return it, and might have to pay return shipping charges. I confirmed that this was true, and so decided to let them order the correct bumper. I dropped off my car and was offered a ride home, but declined because I had my dog with me, who needed a walk. Less than two days later, I received a call that my car was ready for pickup, and when I returned it was completely ready, including the paperwork, and the reduced rate was indicated. It is a perfect match, and the staff were all friendly and competent. I would definitely use Indio Collision again. read more
