I ordered the Kao Moo Sam Chan--- grilled marinated pork belly over jasmine rice. The pork belly, cut into thin strips, was tender and mildly sweet. It was delicious, and was accompanied by some sliced baby cucumbers and cherry tomatoes, plus a container of spicy & sour dipping sauce. The owner gave me a heads up on the sauce's heat level, so I used it sparingly and it was a perfect add-on for the pork. Super friendly and helpful owners. Don't sleep on Kanok-- go there!

Honestly, the employees were not very friendly. I don't care that much about that in this instance because the baked goods made up for their demeanor. The brownie was nice and chewy. Very soft and even though it's super dark, it's not bitter and the salt flakes make it the perfectly balanced sweet and salty combo. Bread was insanely good. I got a half loaf of semolina and the spices on the outside are adjacent to Side Door Bagel's everything bagel seasoning. It's perfect and I wish I lived in Fountain Square so I could get a loaf whenever I need it. Haha. I enjoyed stopping in here and will be back.

There are lots of sides to choose from. The price is a little high for just a sandwich with no sides. You have to wait in line to order at the counter and then the food is brought out to you at the few tables in an adjacent room. There is little ambience but just good and quick food. I took the opportunity to stock my freezer with good meats from the butcher shop when I left.

The menu has a few unique sandwiches that make good use of the butcher's meat. Prices are reasonable. My husband had the Debris Po' Boy Sandwich, served hot. He loved his sandwich with a generous portion of beef, lettuce and tomato. I had the Grand Palace Salad, which was huge. The chicken was marinated in a Thai sauce and was a tad dry. The rest of the salad was fresh with snow peas, cherry tomatoes and mandarins orange. My friend had the meatball sandwich, which looked awesome. The sandwich was huge and shareable. (I'm getting that next time.) The clerks were friendly and helpful. The dining area is roomy and great for conversation. Restrooms were available. There is a dedicated parking lot behind the building or street parking in front.

The guy working was very helpful and took the time to explain the dishes to us in the Buffett. We opted for the Buffett today (only runs fri-sun) and while I would love to tell you everything we had, I'd be lying if I said I remembered all the names of the dishes. But trust me when I say the food was fresh, hot and lots of variety. Started off with some hummus, salad, pasta salad, and some other cold sides that I forget the name. The pasta salad was fine, but def okay to skip and stick to the other sides to which you won't be disappointed! The pita was also fresh and so good! Some of the stand outs for the main dishes I LOVED the mushroom beef dish and the chicken I got was so tender it was FALL OFF THE BONE! Also their spaghetti (reminded me more of a Mac and cheese) was so creamy and packed with flavor along with corn and mushrooms. Sounds wild, but trust me - so good! It was overwhelming trying to decide what to get next and making sure I didn't over do it too much so I could try everything! Again I know this isn't the best since I don't know all the names and I have no pictures (I ate too quickly and then realized after the fact and didn't think empty/dirty dishes would be appealing). Just trust me when I say the buffet is worth it. I then had the baklava for dessert and that was also good! We can't wait to come back and order from the menu. Looking to try gyro for sure next time! Also the grocery side is great and has a lot of items and candies to choose from. Definitely a place you'll visit and not leave empty handed or hungry!

The only thing I didn't enjoy were the home fries. A little undercooked but overall the food for the price was good! While ordering, one of the servers came out with these amazing looking quiches! OMG!! I wanted to buy both the veggie and bacon ones so bad but I wasn't going straight home. The quiches were so appealing to the eyes; it's the perfect dishe if you're having guests for the holidays! I'm definitely going to purchase one next time I'm there.
