    Head of bed frame. You can see if the box spring was there the bed could then scoot lower covering the exposed area.

    My family and I furnished our whole house with Mathis, which is where the star are coming from. In the past we haven't had any issues and quite frankly enjoyed one or two sales reps. This past month 4/2025, we just finished buying a new bed frame for our toddler and during the purchasing of the item Holly, informed us that the display bed was not sitting on a box spring. When we asked if it needed a box spring we were told we did not need one. Fast forward to us picking up the bed frame and installing we come to find that the bed frame was a key element to keeping our little boy safe while laying on the bed. Without the box spring the mattress doesn't cover the bed frame enough leaving several inches of space where he can fall and get hurt. Upon contacting Holly we were told that it was our fault because apparently she told us we needed it but my wife, myself and my parents whom happen to be there at the time all heard her say we did not need it. We were very specific asking because, again, we have purchased from Mathis before and had asked the same exact question when we purchased my daughters bed. Holly informed us to contact customer service. The customer service representatives then kept giving us the run around, forwarding us to different areas in an "attempt" to find a supervisor. Upon finding Able, apparently because of Holly's account we are required to pay for the box spring. SO at this store, the customer is not right, the employee is. In the end there was minimal effort to reconcile with us, offering us 50% but then were told we'd have to pay for some fee. Apparently this fee is nonwaivable. I was frustrated with this last min additional of the "nonwaivable" fee as it felt like, again we were being manipulated for their benefit. In the image you can see that without the box spring there is too much space at the bottom of the bed. The bed is a full size bed frame. The mattress on the bed is a full size. This was the worst display of customer service I'd ever experienced in the Valley.

    Mathis Brothers Outlet never fails. Landon, Tonantzin aka Toni, and the Mathis outlet team are amazing. The customer service and attention to detail are top notch. We will definitely be returning. Our new sectional looks amazing.

    OMG, I have been a customer with matthis Brothers for many many years. That being said, I have never had the most incredible service as we have received the past couple of years with our Wonderful Sales representative, Toni Bautista, She is an absolute gem and truly knows our style and taste. We most recently purchased a matching loveseat to go with our Germaine sofa. Toni handled every aspect of the Sales and delivery with the utmost professionalism, follow up and detail to ensure a successful transaction. You are truly lucky to have Toni, as she really understands The customers needs and goes above and beyond to make you feel very comfortable and happy with your purchase. With this last purchase, Toni had our beautiful sofa delivered with a gigantic gorgeous Christmas bow that just pleased us to no end. It's a shame that you can't duplicate Toni as she is such a wonderful and amazing asset to your sales team. She is a true gem and just an all-around lovely human being.     Has anyone taken a recliner for repair that turned out bad?

    No, I've been told they're waiting for an email response from the manufacturer which is absolutely ridiculous. It shouldn't take three months for somebody to respond for a broken bedframe.

    Has anyone else been told that the wait for a new part for a repair would take 3 months?

    It's a supply chain issue and is happening in all businesses. Companies have been so scaled back or closed that it is taking awhile to ramp back up.

I called mattress firm in La Quinta which is closer to where I live and spoke with Larry He was very nice and explained to me to go back to the store in Palm Desert where I bought both mattresses which The returning fees are now up to $200 I really couldn't get much done, Ron was busy and David was very sweet and wanted to help me He took down my information to give to Ron He never called me back, I went to Mattress Firm in La Quinta and spoke with Area manger Christian H. He was so nice and really cared about my issues with the mattress and the pillows. After not getting a good night sleep and the pillow situation, Christian called and spoke to Janelle Who was very helpful Christian was able to give me a discount on the pillow's and delivery I ended up getting the Vining Plush King I love my new mattress it's perfect! I guess third times a charm, lol Next time I'll do my research, I should've went to mattress firm in La Quinta in the first place.     The female manager with her Facebook page was SO RUDE to me. I had an issue with my existing…read morepurchase and her response was "I literally don't have a solution for you" with a straight, condescending face. It wasn't the message, it was her lack of support and trying to help a customer. Zero customer service skill. My new adjustable bed frame was stuck in a high position. We had to disassemble the bed in order to sleep flat, now we're left with an expensive bed frame that doesn't work as it should. I am now looking at other stores for a new adjustable frame- will never return to this location.
