Brought truck back to my mechanic and asked him to replace right front ball joint. Mechanic notified me that the right ball joint had no wear and should definitely pass the Mass State inspectio. I called Rick's to ask if the inspector was there, and he was. I drove truck to Ricks auto service and asked to have car put on the lift again so they could show me the so-called "badly worn" ball joint. Amazingly enough , the ball joint in question was now tight. Must've been the ride to Fitchburg that fixed it? Very dishonest shop, and owner sat cowering in his locked office while all of this unfolded. I can almost accept the extremely rude behavior of the cowardly owner, but the incompetence and just plain lying is really sad. He's lucky he's the only game in town. My transmission went out on my Tundra they delivered a transmission I purchased a two-year warranty…read morewith labor, they delivered a transmission that looked like hell covered in snow was told that was the only transmission they had and it had a tail shaft so it was out of a 2 Wheel Dr. not a four-wheel-drive and that my mechanic needed to put it in, so they put it in it didn't shift into 6th gear. Transmission was junk, next transmission went in and worked for about six months then reverse went out on that one had them deliver a replacement transmission with no issue on that however they were not paying for labor again... was very unimpressed with the quality of the transmissions and customer service. I just crossed the two-year mark but only a year and a half on the third transmission and that is throwing codes. Don't buy anything that has moving parts from them.

The best part, though, was how friendly and unhurried the process was. Service was prompt, but not so prompt that I felt rushed, and I feel strongly about that. We'll see what I receive on Tuesday, I might have to update this review, but I have a feeling I'm going to be very pleased!
