We come here pretty often with the family, and this last visit was for my mom's birthday. There…read morewere 10 of us, and we had a waitress who we've had almost every time we've come here, which has probably been at least 5 times now. She's always great, checks on us throughout the meal, and this time she even brought my mom a free dessert for her birthday, which was really nice because we didn't even ask for it. The food was good, as usual. My mom loves the amount of chicken parm she gets, so that's always a big reason why we end up here. I got the steak burrito this time, and I may have misunderstood the menu because I thought it was going to be more like a burrito bowl. They were totally fine with changing it for me though, so no complaints there. Honestly, you really can't go wrong with The Pantry. We'll definitely be back, just hopefully not too soon because we've been here mad times lately! I think we're going to let my mom pick somewhere different next time.

So, we decided to visit The Pantry on a Sunday, and let me tell you, it was an absolute ZOO! And…read morewhen I say zoo, I mean ZOO! LOL! Before we could even make it inside, there were people literally arguing in the parking lot! That's how chaotic it was. Now, the restaurant does have parking, but instead of dealing with that madness, we decided to park in a nearby parking area that serves the surrounding establishments and what I believe is the train station. Since it was Sunday, parking was free, so that worked out perfectly for us! Once we made our way inside, it was just as busy as expected. Our waiter was fairly new, and you could tell he was still trying to get the hang of things. He seemed a little confused at times, but you know what? He still got the job done, and I have absolutely no complaints about that. Everyone has to start somewhere! I ordered a traditional breakfast consisting of eggs, corned beef hash, and home fries. My friend decided to go with a gyro and fries. The food was okay. Nothing spectacular, nothing terrible. Just your typical diner food. Everything was decent, and neither of us had any complaints about our meals. But was it something that made me say, "Oh my goodness, I have to come back for this!"? Not necessarily. As far as the atmosphere goes, it's your standard diner setting. Nothing particularly unique or memorable about the decor or overall ambiance. However, I will give them credit for one thing: the restaurant was very clean inside, and that's always something I appreciate, especially considering how busy they were! Service was okay, food was okay, and the atmosphere was exactly what you'd expect from a traditional diner. The Pantry overall was a decent experience. Nothing that completely wowed me, but nothing that would make me tell someone to stay away either. If you're in the area and looking for a simple diner meal, it gets the job done. Would I go back? Sure, if I happened to be in the area and wanted something to eat. But would I go out of my way to return? Probably not. Sometimes a restaurant experience is just that: okay. And that's perfectly fine!

I saw The Caffe On Park to find out what kind of breakfast was served and if I wanted to sit and dine at this restaurant. Just looking at the pictures and not reading the reviews or who reviewed the business. Entering the restaurant, I found The Caffee to have warm lighting causing an inviting yet romantic setting. I was properly greeted and seated. My waiter was very kind and pleasant. The busboy brought over water and the bread sticks to the table. Something I have never seen only when eating a salad. I did not touch them because I thought the person that brought it to the table probably made a mistake. On my first visit I sat in the middle of the room. Surrounded by a lot of patrons. Everything went well as I faced the window. I ordered the vegetable omelet with rye toast and a generous portion of unique home fries. I also had French vanilla coffee. The home fries were really tasty and the omelet was filling as well as tasty. I was very satisfied with the choice. I thought the clear coffee cup was a classy touch. After dining I looked around and saw that they had ice cream, but I dare not indulge, it is too early for me. My waiter was attentive and busy so I ended my experience with a 44% tip and said that I would come back when I am in the area. 08/19 I came back to the area, still struggling with Verizon, I decided to come back to The Caffe, the same experience and set up as the first but this time I was closer to the window with more lighting. On this visit I did try the breadstick and yogurt. It was pretty good. I just ate one, I wasn't there for that. LOL! I ordered another French vanilla coffee and The Prospect which consisted of 2 eggs of any style, home fries, choice of pancakes, French toast, or half waffle, served with bacon, ham, or sausage. I chose scrambled eggs, half of a waffle, and turkey bacon. This was pretty delicious, but I could do without the confectionery sugar on the waffle. Not everyone likes confectionery sugar. While drinking the coffee, I was able to spot blond hair around the coffee cup. I am thinking that if this was not a clear coffee cup, I would not have seen it and may have consumed it. At this point the experience was that the food was unhygienic due to hair contamination. When the waiter came over with the bill, long story short, I had to remind him that the coffee was contaminated, and he apologized profusely and apologized again for the oversight. I did not take it out on his tip, I still gave 44% on the original bill. Improvement- When there is a flaw such as hair where there is not supposed to be hair, don't give excuses, just apologize and move on. I won't be back! I have nothing more to say except even in this situation... Inspire more, Yelp more!

The place is still the same . Wood interior, very big , open space... a long time ago people always seemed to come here to celebrate their birthdays (not sure if thats the same because the place was fairly empty and it was a Saturday ) We ordered and waited. The drinks were good (I think im switching to martinis this summer , they've been treating me right so far) The pancakes were delicious . As for everything else I wouldn't say if was spectacular. Basic and as for the dish I ordered it was entirely too much potato, no hollandaise sauce and the poached eggs were soft boiled (things were just over cooked) still ate . Itll be some time before I come back (maybe another few years whenever I get a pancake crave)

I was also able to secure us a last minute reservation at 1:45p which we may have waited a minute or two more? We chatted with the hostess as she complimented both of our purses and she was very friendly. So off Steph and I went with hungry stomachs as we had arrangements to hit YAAAS after lunch. We already agreed on splitting the following: - Cream Tea: which is a basket of scones (which we both took home two each and the accoutrements that go with said scones) and a pot of tea. - Burrata & Fried Eggplant Salad: the salad in our opinion could've used more dressing and the Burrata needed either more dressing or salt. As the waitress seemed to be rather busy we opted for the more salt option. Fried eggplant was definitely fried and nice and crispy. - Turkey & Goat Cheese Sandwich: an interesting sandwich to say the least. Some bites I felt like I tasted straight up cranberry compote other bites straight goat cheese. The side salad with the generous sprinkling of goat cheese and dressing was delicious. I think if we came back again I'd definitely be interested in high tea and their little cheese board we saw. The ambiance of Chat Noir is rather girly but I'm more than good with that. Definitely cute. We also spotted a few ladies with cute hats on which even though it wasn't my personal experience made it very cute. Will I be back? You betcha when I'm in the area with my girly.

It's the kind of smell that instantly tells you you're about to have a great day. Our afternoon tea experience started with chilled water and refreshing peach iced tea being brought to the table when we were seated. Then the food started arriving, with our first pot of Darjeeling tea. Fresh baked orange cranberry scones were buttery, and tender with bright citrus flavor and bursts of sweet tart cranberry. Slathered with their homemade Devonshire cream and fruit preserves, every bite was rich, silky, and absolutely heavenly. The mixed berry salad cups were fresh and vibrant, combining crisp mixed greens with juicy strawberries, plump blueberries, perfectly roasted lemon pepper chicken, and a sweet, tangy fig balsamic dressing that tied every flavor together beautifully. The mini feta arugula quiche had a flaky, buttery crust filled with creamy egg custard, salty feta, and peppery arugula for the perfect savory bite. Dessert was every sweet tooth's dream. The chocolate ganache thumbprints were rich, fudgy, and decadent, while the crumb cake was incredibly soft with a thick buttery cinnamon crumble that tasted just like it came out of Grandma's oven. To end the experience, we were offered a second pot of tea and chose the Red Velvet Tea, a smooth, subtly cocoa blend with hints of raspberry that paired perfectly with dessert. For just $39, this afternoon tea feels like one of Long Island's hidden gems. Whether you're celebrating, catching up with friends, or simply looking for a cozy afternoon escape, this is an experience that's worth slowing down for.
