I asked so many questions and she answered them completely and with a smile. The place gives this horribly rainy day a burst of sunshine. It's bright and clean with fun things to look at one the walls. There are a few tables, but I took what I wanted to go. I wound up getting 6 ice pops (paletas?) ranging from Mango to Jamaica, which is Hibiscus, which I love. Alexandra definitely made this a great experience. She told me weekends and Mondays are crowded. I told her I am retired, so I can come during the week. She said that she hoped I come back. I definitely will. You should too.

My friend and I brought in a coupon for a free ice cream cone, no minimum purchase, no nothing…read morerequired but showing up, and were astonished to be told that the coupon covered only the cone. As in, literally, you only get a free empty cone. Oh, you wanted actual ice cream to go in that cone? That'll be seven dollars. It's a rather "clever" scam in that it does work in the short term: we did buy ice cream. However, for the longer term, it's a spectacularly stupid idea. My friend and I were so offended by this ludicrous deception that we will never be returning, and we've already been sharing with others how shady this business is. (People's jaws drop when I tell them what the coupon literally said vs. how the cashier interpreted the coupon's meaning.) Fool me once...welp, can't wait for the incoming Insomnia cookie place to open up a couple blocks away!

Staff was kind Ice cream was tasty- nowhere near $9 worth. There was about a 1/4 cup of cream poured onto the slab with one off brand Oreo cookie that was chopped up and rolled into the cup- it was probably the equivalent of a scoop and a half of ice cream. Unlimited toppings but how many toppings can someone possibly have to make it worth $9? Fun for the kids but likely won't be back.

A few years ago when International delight closed down was sad time. I stopped in briefly on Tuesday to see the flavors and talk with the staff. On Friday, after exiting the LIRR I stopped in again to make a purchase. All 3 top notch and I nearly polished off the whole thing by myself at home. I was told the ice cream is made in small batches and the flavors rotate constantly. Dolce Gelateria provides accessible entry and there is parking in front away front away from the traffic on Franklin Ave. This is a beautiful gelato parlor. The staff are always welcoming, and you are warmly greeted upon entrance. Things I love about Dolce Gelateria* KI love the outdoor seating. I love the suggestive selling, they inform the customers of the various products for sale, regardless if you buy or not. I love the samples they give. I sampled the mango Gelato. D'licious! I love how they give you a cup and you have more than one flavor., I was asked if I wanted to mix the mango gelato, I kept it one flavor. I also love the prices; it is within my budget. So, I guess by now, one can make an accurate assumption that I purchased the mango gelato and enjoy it immensely . I repeat, it was very D'licious. It is now one of my favorite taste. I purchased the tiramisu; its taste was distinctive and prominent. It deserves to be eaten alone so that your taste buds can savor the flavor for maximum appreciation. I also purchased Coffee flavor. I normally do French vanilla with this flavor, but they did not have it. The Tiramisu was in the same cup as the coffee, I would have preferred a solo cup. I ordered the carrot cake and found it very tasty, and a red velvet was comped, also delicious. I tried the lactose free flavor just to taste but that's not me! But still... Inspire more, Yelp more!

They closed down the restaurant just for us, giving us complete freedom to decorate and rearrange the space for a super intimate feel. The team went above and beyond: helping us set up and pack down, and even pulling out a ladder so we could hang decor from the ceiling! The manager even printed custom menus to match our theme, which was such a thoughtful touch. The food was served family-style--they gave us plenty of choices beforehand, and our pick of 2 appetizers and 3 entrees was a massive hit. Days later and I'm still getting messages saying how great the food was and fun/perfect the space was. My husband was even happily eating leftovers the next day because the food was that good!
