The other employees were trying to steer him away from customer view but it was clear as day, the man was obviously under the influence. He couldn't stand, walk, talk, or function in any way. I felt really bad for the other employees who were having to mommy him. It made for a disturbing atmosphere; I ended up just leaving.

We even went back and confirmed the situation with management, so we expected there would be some effort to make things right. We then asked if we could make an offer on a sink and cabinet, but our offer was clearly refused despite the negative experience we had just gone through. Instead, we were simply told to wait until 9/19 sale. When I asked if they could at least put the cabinet on hold until 9/19, they refused to hold it because there's only a 24 hour hold. At that point, the whole situation felt pretty pointless. Unfortunately, based on our experience, if you put an item on hold here, there doesn't seem to be much confidence that it will actually be held for you. I hope management can take a closer look at how holds and customer concerns are handled.

They have a good selection of cool lamps, antique fixtures, doors, windows, cabinets, cool glass, dressers-- you name it. I always get inspired with lots of fun ideas when I come here. We went in this time looking for a 'pocket' door, the old kind that slides into the wall.. We were really having a hard time finding one online. Not only did we find one here, they have a whole section labeled "pocket doors" and we found just what we wanted- a 'real wood' door (not the plastic-wood-material-door-thing they sell at Lowes nowadays.) So now we have a door that needs a lil cleaning but was only $35 bucks. The wood alone is likely worth that. They work hard saving the vintage items from otherwise demolition death and seem to price it affordable enough so it can be 'loved' again. Pros: -Organized bins and labeled piles. -Helpful and knowledgeable staff. -Free parking. Cons: -It's like a warehouse shop so everything is covered in thick 'antique dust.' (but, it is kinda fun to clean off your own glowing treasure for the cost you pay. ;) Reuse, recycle baby!

From the time the order was placed until it was ready was less than one hour. We were assisted by two people, and they were both friendly and helpful. Not only were prices reasonable, but one staff member helped us to save money by asking specific questions and directing us to something more affordable. Additionally, we never have any problems finding parking! My husband and I have been here a number of times and highly recommend it!

We needed more supplies on a Friday around 4:30pm. We drove there only to find out the hours of operation are M-F, 7am-4pm. Those hours are great for the people who work there but not for people who need supplies for their DIY projects beyond their open hours or on weekends. The two out of the three times I went there Phil helped us. He was very helpful and friendly in answering questions and recommending their products. Their products are of a better quality than you find in big box stores. We had bought round, hook and loop sanding discs from other places and then bought 3 boxes at Infinite Hardwood. The ones at Infinite Hardwood were of a higher quality and lasted longer. They carry real hardwood flooring, sanding discs, wood vents, wood filler, floor sealers, floor finishes, floor tools, wood doe, and much more. We feel their prices are reasonable, too.

Regarding 'haggling' with them, in the few cases where I felt it was appropriate, they were always willing to entertain a fair transaction. Funny how that works-- if you come in with the right attitude! (I'm lookin' at you, 1- and 2-star reviewers! ) Salvage work is hard, and dealing with jackwagon 'hagglers' or unprepared 'customers' makes it harder. There is a lot of parking, though there is some sketchy street activity (rvs etc) in that area. This would be an incredibly fun place to shop if you were decorating a home or business... they have mass amounts of light fixtures, windows, doors, hearths, door knobs... plus a section of furniture. And by furniture I mean in any form. Old restaurant booths and stools, large armoires, nice old solid wood pieces. I was a little excited to be trying Limback after living in Seattle for twenty years of doing home…read moreimprovement projects using only big chain stores and Dunn Lumber. Turns out the experience with Limback was a great disappointment and worse than any experience I've had with any other lumber purchase. I contacted Limback because I planned to build my porch with Ipe and wanted high quality lumber, and with half of the boards at twenty feet I knew I would be trying to locate an unusual length. Limback had the boards I needed, and I quickly purchased them, with confirmation that they would hold them for a couple of weeks until I could have them delivered to the job site. While those days passed, Limback sold my purchased lumber to someone else. Then they waited to tell me, embarrassed about the screw-up. Then I was told that now that they were out of stock there was no way to know when they would get more Ipe. I ended up buying through Crosscut Hardwoods in SoDo, which was another crappy experience with worse quality lumber. Then, to add insult to injury, when I found that one of the boards from Crosscut was badly bowed and couldn't be used, I called Limback to see if they could redeem themselves a bit. I was told that sure, I could come over and go through all the ten-footer boards they now had in stock (a few weeks after the initial, botched sale). Then, while I was going through the boards at Limback to find just the one I would buy, an employee came by and chided me for looking through their stock and told me I couldn't do it - which I ignored - putting the nail in the coffin for me ever going back to Limback.
