That same day, they emailed proof of product registration with the manufacturer to us. The registration was necessary to start the 10-year warranty and showed the model and serial number. August 14, 2025, we called Elite to let them know the new AC was no longer blowing cold air. They came out and said the coil and some other component needed to be replaced. This was very surprising for a 5-month-old HVAC unit. So, we waited for Elite to come back and replace the defective parts. After waiting a few days, we had to call Elite to ask when they were planning on getting the AC up and running. They said they were waiting for parts and would get back to us once they arrived. Two weeks later, we still hadn't heard from them, so we called again. We were told they had to check with the technician to see what was going on and would call back. Another 2 weeks went by, and no word from Elite, so we called again. This time we were told the parts arrived damaged and were bow placed on back order. We were surprised no one at Elite bothered to give us this update. When we spoke with the "service manager," he said he would look into everything and call us back on Monday. Monday came and went with no word from him. We called them again and again and were given the same run around each time. "We need to check with the manufacturer, or check with the technician, etc., and get back to you. We called again, and they said since the parts are taking so long, we've decided to replace the defective HVAC unit completely. September 30, 2025, Elite came out and replaced the HVAC unit with a "new" unit. This time, we did not receive any proof of product registration. We did not know the model and serial number of the new unit they put on our roof, so, as it stands, it looks like we no longer have a 10-year warranty. Tired of their games and bad customer service, we filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, which was what finally prompted them to come out and replace the unit. We asked for the proof of registration, and they said we needed to call them with any questions. We didn't have any questions. We were waiting for the product registration so we could be assured our new HVAC is under the promised 10-year warranty. This needs to be emailed to us and cannot be accomplished over the phone. To this day, Elite Heating & Air Conditioning has refused to send any documentation of our "new" HVAC unit. We have no model number, serial number, proof of product registration, or warranty. We were without AC for over 6 weeks during the summer, which prevented us from listing the home for sale or from being able to rent it. Either way, Elite has cost us a lot of money and grief. Flash forward to 7/30/2026. This house was sold and the buyers just informed us the AC has quit working. I called Elite to transfer the warranty to the new owners and they refused. Beware! They are total scam artists!

You get to speak directly with the person who's coming to fix your AC. You already know this is not some giant organization that's modeled on constantly trying to upsell you on something. Phap arrived promptly the same day and was able to diagnose my issue( indoor AC blower fan was constantly running, would never turn off). He was able to resolve the issue quickly (fan relay switch was stuck) and then, (gasp) he didn't charge me anything! This made my day, as I was prepared for the worst. He gave me tips on what to do if the issue returns: I may need to have the control board replaced ultimately if it keeps happening. But he told me I can order the specific control board online from Amazon if I need him to replace it, as that will save me a significant amount of money compared to him getting it through his supply house. Thank you Phap. You have a loyal customer forever. As an aside, I saw in other reviews people wondered why Sooner Air was previously known as Mighty Oak Air as well as Win&Nguyen Heating and Air Conditioning. I asked Phap and he told me that in our Sun City Anthem magazine his services got listed under landscaping because of the name Mighty oak. He kept getting calls for landscaping instead of heating and air, so he changed the name to Win and Nguyen. But then people couldn't pronounce the name. So now he is Sooner Air.

I received an automated booking verification via the email and phone number I had provided. I received an email and text informing me of the name of the tech along with a photo of him, and verification of appointment day and time frame. I received email and text reminders the night before and the morning of the scheduled appointment. Yannick was on time, personable, and professional. He answered questions I had and then performed the tune up service. Payment for services rendered was handled upon completion of the service using a credit card reader. He emailed me the invoice and receipts at the time of the transaction. Again, I'm very pleased with services rendered.

I called today as the unit has problems and has a ten year warranty on parts. They charged me $89 to come out and see what the problem is. This came directly from his quote. Electrical Repair wire and repair burnt electrical connections. Solder hole that was caused by electrical shortage Clean system of debris and charge units with nitrogen and perform leak test to insure repairs were. They called me and told me the Goodman 10 year warranty would not cover parts for warranty and they said that was my problem and to call the manufacture. So I called them to ask why it wouldn't be covered and they said it was because this happened from not being installed correctly. I asked him how do you know it hasn't been installed correctly? He said because you have an electrical shortage. King Cooling and heating gave me a quote for $1,825 but said they would give me a $500 discount which took it to $1,325 (rip off). I would never use these people as they honor nothing. I received a quote from another company for $880. So do not buy from this company as they leave you in the cold.

Dishonest and unprofessional!!!!!!…read moreHad two guys diagnosis my A/C system first guy came and didn't know what he was looking at, asked him basic questions and responded with. Do you work on A/C since you must know what I'm doing. Very sarcastic and rude, then I let him know I could hear the Freon leaking and instead of moving the tools so it wouldn't leak he purposely opened it more to have more Freon leaks from the system. At the end he couldn't figure out what was wrong. Then proceeded to lie and say we need to do a Freon flush and replace with new Freon R-410a, stating 13lbs would cost $1000+. (25lbs cost $200). Second guy game in and diagnosed it as a bad dryer filter, mind you this the second time the system has stop working in a year and it's brand new barley 2 years old. Also let the tech know the heater not working he diagnose it as a broken vacuum line. Get the proposal over $1400. $65 for the vacuum hose!! Which by the way I fix my cutting off an inch where it was broken!! The tech could have done it min self and would have taken a minute to fix the heater but wanted to charge $65!!!! Dryer filter under warranty, $600 for Freon and $700+ for labor which would only take them 1 hour to fix. Got better quotes for closer to $350 for Freon and labor and dryer filter. Would not have them service anything again rip me off over 250 in just diagnostic fee and 695 for labor
