After having two other HVAC companies come out and essentially tell us that we needed to replace our system and spend thousands upon thousands of dollars, I was feeling extremely discouraged. Thankfully, Phap, the owner of the company, came out and gave us a completely different experience. Phap took the time to educate me about our system, showed me his work as he went along, and explained everything in a way that was easy to understand. He was incredibly transparent and honest about what actually needed to be done and what realistic pricing should look like. It's refreshing to find someone who is so professional, knowledgeable, and trustworthy--especially after feeling like we were being price-gouged by other companies. I truly appreciate the time Phap took to walk me through everything and make sure I understood what was going on. We will absolutely be using them moving forward and highly recommend Phap and his company to anyone looking for an honest, transparent, and professional HVAC company! read more

I just had a fantastic experience with Phap at Sooner air, formerly Mightly Oak Air. First off, Phap answered the phone personally. This is always a good sign with any service person. You get to speak directly with the person who's coming to fix your AC. You already know this is not some giant organization that's modeled on constantly trying to upsell you on something. Phap arrived promptly the same day and was able to diagnose my issue( indoor AC blower fan was constantly running, would never turn off). He was able to resolve the issue quickly (fan relay switch was stuck) and then, (gasp) he didn't charge me anything! This made my day, as I was prepared for the worst. He gave me tips on what to do if the issue returns: I may need to have the control board replaced ultimately if it keeps happening. But he told me I can order the specific control board online from Amazon if I need him to replace it, as that will save me a significant amount of money compared to him getting it through his supply house. Thank you Phap. You have a loyal customer forever. As an aside, I saw in other reviews people wondered why Sooner Air was previously known as Mighty Oak Air as well as Win&Nguyen Heating and Air Conditioning. I asked Phap and he told me that in our Sun City Anthem magazine his services got listed under landscaping because of the name Mighty oak. He kept getting calls for landscaping instead of heating and air, so he changed the name to Win and Nguyen. But then people couldn't pronounce the name. So now he is Sooner Air. read more

I can't say enough good things about Phap and the team at Sooner Air. They recently completed a full AC replacement on my condo's hydronic HVAC system, and the entire experience was outstanding from start to finish. Phap handled every aspect of the project, including obtaining the permit, coordinating the work, and even arranging the drywall repair afterward. What impressed me most was that he was able to source and install the exact AC unit I requested, which wasn't an easy task. Communication was excellent throughout the process, the workmanship was top-notch, and everything was completed professionally and on schedule. It's rare to find a contractor who takes ownership of every detail and makes the entire project stress-free. If you're looking for an HVAC company that delivers exceptional service, quality work, and follows through on their commitments, I highly recommend Phap and Sooner Air. read more

Phap came to check our downstairs air-conditioning unit today which was not working. He discovered that it was a capacitor and he was able to replace it immediately at a fraction of the cost that another company wanted to charge us to install a new unit because they claimed our old unit could not be repaired. Phap also installed a mini split in our Casita three years ago, which has been working great. Phap is honest, hard-working, knowledgeable and he has integrity. Please call him for all your air-conditioning needs, he cares about people. read more

I contacted this company for a elderly friend who needed his A/C replaced. The owner sent out his technician who fixed the issue. The home owner still wanted a New A/C. The owner never charged him or his wife for the initial repair. Pap beat the 4 Prior estimates, therefore with all his Prior positive Nextdoor reviews my friend purchased from his company . They are very happy with his company and the service received. At a minimum at least let the owner provide you with a quote. This all took place last month in July during the hottest Season. Thanks Pap !!! read more

Mighty Oak Air is now known as Win&Nguyen Heating and Air Conditioning, same phone number. Phap did a courtesy call, while doing so he replaced my air filters and checked my thermostat (which I replaced myself) to ensure I wired the thermostat correctly. His prices are very fair. Phap was professional and super courteous, his customer service skills are top notch. read more

A big thank you to Phap Nguyen and the team at Sooner Air (formerly Mighty Oak Air) for the outstanding HVAC service they provided to us during some of the hottest days in Henderson!! Phap, Alex, Andrew and the rest of the Sooner Air team installed a new HVAC system and a mini-split for us. Their work was efficient, their communication was clear, and their pricing very fair and competitive. Phap is very honest and straightforward, and he clearly cares about the quality of work that he and his team does. It is also very clear that Phap cares about his customers and he wants to make sure that they are satisfied with his service, and most importantly, that they are cool and comfortable in their home. Thank you Phap and team - you went above and beyond for us, and we are truly grateful for your outstanding service!! We would highly recommend Sooner Air to our family and friends!! read more

Want to give a shout out to Mighty Oak Air (Win & Nguyen) and to Phep, who installed an Amana A/C - furnace unit in our main house and a Daiken mini split in our attached casita. They did a fantastic job, at reasonable prices, and have been amazing at providing support for both systems. It has been a year now since both have been installed. Highly recommend them for LV valley AC & heating needs. read more

Very trustworthy service. So glad I found Phap just in time through my neighbor. Straightforward and fair pricing.

Phap to the rescue, Once Again! I get a call from my clients, whose home I am selling, that closes next week. Their AC just stopped working and they called Sierra Air who came out and quoted them $6000.00! They are now extremely stressed out. I gave them Phap's contact info, and then I sent a text to Phap. I think, at most, it took Phap, 20 mins upon getting the call to be at my client's house. I have personally used Phap to replace my own AC, and after meeting him, Alec and his crew, I ALWAYS recommend him to my clients. Without going into details, Phap told me what Sierra was trying to do in order to upsell my clients. SUCH DISHONESTLY. Talk about being unethical. Phap got the AC working and the price was beyond fair. We are not experts in the world of HVACS, so it's very important to know who you can trust! There is a reason why they have so many amazing reviews. I had to update my review because I would sooner (no pun intended) call Phap, than a Home Warranty company any day! Thank you, Phap, for helping me and my clients out today!!! You are one of the best! read more

Mighty Oak Air (Win and Nguyen) has been a top class experience both times I have called them. Responsive for sure, both 100+ summer days. I was prepared to pay a high premium, but each time they were very fair. A quality professional is a golden thing in Las Vegas. I am grateful to have a pro on my side. read more

I was referred to Phap from one of our neighbors. I told him I wanted to have our HVAC system checked out and our filters checked. He suggested I wait on the unit check as there is a program through NV Energy that will pay him to do a complete check but it doesn't start until April 15. He did say in the meantime he could stop by and check our filters. We have reusable filters and he said they were really clean but vacuumed them anyhow. He did not charge us and wouldn't accept a tip. I was very impressed with Phap and his work ethic. We will have him back to do a complete check on our units. read more

Our AC unit was blowing air but it wasn't getting cool enough. Summer is about to start, so my husband contacted Win & Nguyen (previously Mighty Oak Air). The technician said he was at a job but could be at the house in an hour. When the tech arrived an hour later, it took him less than 30 minutes from the doorbell to goodbye to diagnose the problem and replace a part in our AC unit. The price was fair for the service that was performed, and our AC unit started cooling down right away. Highly recommend for the prompt, effective service and good price. read more

A+ customer service, very detail and provided quality work even though it was covered under the NV Energy incentives. Will definitely use them again! read more

During the current local heat wave, our home's new air conditioning unit (installed less than a year ago by our home warranty service provider's contractor) began making an intermittent banging sound (it was so loud, it sounded like a road construction crew was jack-hammering the street outside, so I shut it down). Home warranty service was no help - they pushed out our service call request by (8) days, despite the heat wave . Cut to the chase: On a recommendation, I called Mighty Oak Air LLC (they're local), and Phap Nguyen was all over it. Phap identified a couple of installation issues that the original installers neglected to complete, and spotted a missing bolt from the frame surrounding the fan, which interfered with the fan rotation whenever the frame would heat up & expand. Phap also suggested a better method to clean my reusable electrostatic air filter for improved performance & longer product life. In short, Phap was on time, knew what to look for, fixed it without rebuilding the entire thing from the ground up, and explained everything so that I understood it. These days, quality customer service is difficult to find, but it's alive and well at Mighty Oak Air LLC (702) 335-9918 - they will earn your trust! 5 STARS - STRONGLY RECOMMENDED! read more

Made an appointment 2 weeks ago for service on my a/c unit. Alec called this morning to verify appointment and showed up when he said he would. My house and ac unit was built and installed in 2017. After 2 hours of work between attic and out side he reported that my a/c unit was working as designed and didn't need any needed repairs. He than told me I owed nothing for his over 2 hours of work. It is hard to find any better service then I recieved today. I would highly recommend mighty oak air for your a/c needs I am attaching his card to this review. Phap is amazing! My fiancé and I had him check the furnace and AC units for a home we are in the process of purchasing, and he did a phenomenal job! He noted that the motors for the furnace are going bad and need to be replaced ASAP. We would not have known about this additional expense otherwise! When we get this home, we will definitely be hiring him to do all our maintenance and servicing for our HVAC! read more

My air went out last summer, and I called ar and was not able to have anyone come out for a few days. I called Phap, and he came out the next morning and was able to get me up and running. He told me I would need a new unit and provided some prices. I called around to get additional quotes, and Phap's prices were better. And Phap's customer service is exceptional!! I am very happy I went with Mighty Oak and know I will be taking very good care of by Phap and his team. read more

Service was awesome. He took the time to find the root of my problem and repaired it at a great price. (I had other quotes.) A major thing for me was he used hand tools on the more delicate metal. I'm a mechanic an doing things like that is a big deal because power tools are faster and easier to work with but will cause issues because they over torque. Over all very happy I have the number saved for anything I need in the future. read more

Last year over the 4th of July holiday our air conditioner quit. We were recommended Mighty Oak Air by our Solar rep. Phap had his crew out the next day and replace the complete system in 4 hours. Being a professional myself I would HIGHLY recommend Mighty Oak Air. Henry Orsan read more

This business if I could give him a 10000/10 I would. Phap is a kind, HONEST, and someone to be trusted in your home. I've had many ac guys come in and out of my home and give me prices that aren't feesable however this business works with you and will help you in anyway they can. I am very grateful for Phap and his company for making my AC work again. My ac went out he came that day to fix it, it worked for 24 hours and stopped. I informed him and immediately he came back and did what he had to do. He is someone that works with and understands that is economy everyone is broke. He helped me in a time and need and I'm extremely grateful! Thank you so much Phap! If you need an AC repair or whole new system contact this company you won't regret it I promise! read more

I called another company back in April to have a NV Energy check up on my unit. That company gave me 3 different appointments and never showed up. I gave up and called Mighty Oak. I was given an appointment 2 weeks out. Alec called on the day of my appointment and said he could be here even earlier. He came and was polite, extremely knowledgeable and very respectable of my home. It's so hard to find good customer service these days and Alec more than surpassed good. Phap is absolutely amazing. He came out to look at our broken AC unit and had it working while we decided who we would go with for a new unit. Excellent response and service. Concern for the customer was foremost. Highly recommended.

Phap Nguyen arrived Sunday afternoon to repair our York air conditioning unit. This company was highly recommended on a neighborhood app. Company responded and came within hour of my inquiry (was not an emergency, but he was finished with another call and close enough to swing by). Completed a brief inspection of issue, the answered my questions and concerns professionally and completely. No labor or parts were required. Gave helpful advice for future maintenance in the future, but did not charge for this visit...WHO DOES THAT? A company that wants to build rapport and provide help, not just process a transaction because of sales pressure. This is a small locally owned business, is honest and helpful. Based on this one interaction I highly recommend getting a quote, scheduling maintenance, or any HVAC issues call Mighty Oak Air. read more

Very easy and stress free appointments to determine issues with our old AC unit. You can never be sure how things are going to go but Alec and Phap were courteous, helpful and willing to listen on our concerns. When I tell you this is one of the most genuine and hardworking people in Vegas, I mean it. My house has an incredibly old system and I'm not currently able to replace it yet. Phap, has been there my wife and I to help make this HVAC system last while we save up, and has saved us so much in money and stress. He has even helped last minute, because he understands the struggle of air conditioning in Las Vegas. I will recommend this man everyday that I can. read more

Amazing service very professional. The work ethic like no other. Phap was very friendly and understood our needs.

I had Mighty Oak Air do repairs on two of my units and they were by far the cheapest and highest quality. He was so kind and professional. This shows he truly cares about making long-term customers rather than short-term quick cash. read more
