During the current local heat wave, our home's new air conditioning unit (installed less than a year ago by our home warranty service provider's contractor) began making an intermittent banging sound (it was so loud, it sounded like a road construction crew was jack-hammering the street outside, so I shut it down). Home warranty service was no help - they pushed out our service call request by (8) days, despite the heat wave . Cut to the chase: On a recommendation, I called Mighty Oak Air LLC (they're local), and Phap Nguyen was all over it. Phap identified a couple of installation issues that the original installers neglected to complete, and spotted a missing bolt from the frame surrounding the fan, which interfered with the fan rotation whenever the frame would heat up & expand. Phap also suggested a better method to clean my reusable electrostatic air filter for improved performance & longer product life. In short, Phap was on time, knew what to look for, fixed it without rebuilding the entire thing from the ground up, and explained everything so that I understood it. These days, quality customer service is difficult to find, but it's alive and well at Mighty Oak Air LLC (702) 335-9918 - they will earn your trust! 5 STARS - STRONGLY RECOMMENDED!

Made an appointment 2 weeks ago for service on my a/c unit. Alec called this morning to verify appointment and showed up when he said he would. My house and ac unit was built and installed in 2017. After 2 hours of work between attic and out side he reported that my a/c unit was working as designed and didn't need any needed repairs. He than told me I owed nothing for his over 2 hours of work. It is hard to find any better service then I recieved today. I would highly recommend mighty oak air for your a/c needs I am attaching his card to this review. My husband and I moved to Las Vegas yesterday and the air conditioner was not working correctly. A service call was placed and Phap Nguyen arrived on time and called prior to arriving. Phap was courteous, professional, and quick and fixed the problem right away! Great customer service and excellent experience with this company!

Our HVAC system completely died in 2024. We were using AC window units and floor heaters, because we did not think we could afford a new system...until Bob's! I used co-pilot to get the top 10 rated HVAC companies in the Vegas Valley and Bob's was ranked #1. I called and spoke to Alexis, who was so warm & patient, getting us scheduled with Adan the next day for a quote. Adan was SO incredibly through & HONEST. After looking over what we needed he gave us a quote that was literally half what we expected *including a year of service as well!! We were able to finance through a partnership that Bob's has with Wells Fargo, for only $155 a month with great rates! We were scheduled the following Monday for installation. The installation team of Francis, Darwin & Jathan showed up on time and went straight to work. Our home was built in 1962 and has old funky everything honestly. I had a real concern about the new equipment fitting without a ton of expensive retrofitting. Well, the entire job was completely done within 6 hours and without a single hitch! Francis did an amazing job, magically fitting the new Trane Air Handler, where the old one was, with literally inches to spare! Jathan was able to also fit our new water heater into the small, tiny outbuilding miraculously as well! Darwin did such a meticulous job getting the HVAC unit installed outside perfectly with all the lines placed neatly and wrapped for UV protection! I was overjoyed to see the new circuit breakers for both the water heater and HVAC unit as well! Everything was done at such a Professional level, I was truly blown away! These Guys absolutely know what there are doing and were extremely polite, efficient & hard working. They cleaned up after themselves and left things literally cleaner than when they began! Energy & vibration are EVERYTHING and every employee I dealt with was STELLAR! I am now comfortably sitting in my climate-controlled home, with nice clean warm water...HAPPY as can be! I would recommend Bob's Repair to everyone! They exceeded my every expectation! Thanks Bob's!!

He did advise me that an Anode Rod needed replacing. Although the home warranty replaced the water heater last year and wrote on it to replace every 2-3 years, Tim said after one year, it looks like it might be failing. After thinking about it and working with my water osmosis filter company and them having to replace my water softener, they also confirm replacing the anode rod is probably the best thing for me, so now I will look into this company replacing the anode rod as suggested. I just have to do research enough to learn more to make these better decisions. Thank you to Legacy for their services and how they handled my account.

During that time, I have repeatedly been given inaccurate information regarding service recommendations and repairs that later appeared unnecessary. Today's service appointment was the most concerning example. I maintain a paid annual club membership that includes maintenance for both my tankless water heater and HVAC system. The technician arrived nearly two hours late and appeared exhausted. Most troubling, the scheduled tankless water heater flush -- the primary purpose of the visit -- was never performed. Instead, the technician took photographs and left without completing the service. Two days prior to this appointment I seriously considered canceling my membership due to ongoing concerns with the company's declining service standards. Unfortunately, I decided to give Legacy one final opportunity and renewed the membership. The outcome of today's appointment unfortunately confirmed my concerns. As a result, I will now be pursuing a chargeback for services that were paid for but not delivered. This level of service is unacceptable. After five years as a loyal customer, I expected professional conduct, timely service, and completion of the work that was scheduled. What occurred instead reflects a troubling lack of accountability and respect for long-standing customers.

When you live in the desert, you can't take any chances with your AC or water systems. Both can turn into expensive issues very quickly. During our inspection, Arturo with NRS noticed some corrosion and possible past leak at our water heater connections. Chances are these connections are original to our 2004 condo and since we have neighbors downstairs, we want to avoid any leaks that could result in issues that could affect both units. The NRS Team presented us with an estimate that we were pleased with and we scheduled Arturo for today. Arturo called ahead when he was enroute (we appreciate that) and was onsite in no time. Arturo took the time to explain what he would be doing to eliminate a possible issue and make our system more secure. Changing out the old hoses (over 20 years old) and connections to solid copper piping and new connections gives us the peace of mind that you need with plumbing. He also configured it so should we need to replace the hot water heater, the new copper fittings will be easy to disconnect & reconnect. Arturo did an amazing job, kept us informed as he worked and the work area was spotless when he was finished. A true gentleman & professional. Many THANKS to Arturo and the NRS Team for spotting a potential plumbing issue and providing a great solution. That's what every homeowner expects. Although my initial impressions of Alpha Air were quite positive following an entire system upgrade, their Customer Service these past two years leaves a great deal to be desired. Following last fall's routine maintenance visit, their Technician subsequently emailed a copy of my check, including my entire Checking Account # !!! When I inquired with their office why my personal financial data was so recklessly exposed on an unsecured internet site for the entire world to see, their excuse was a "glitch in the system." This past April 27th; routine maintenance was scheduled for between 9:00 - 11:00 AM. I sat here for three (3) hours waiting, the Technician never showed nor did anyone from their office bother to contact me and inform of the delinquency. When I called their office for an explanation, their excuse was a "glitch in the system and the Technician never saw it." That evening I forwarded an email to Alpha Air explaining my dissatisfaction with their unacceptable modus operandi and asked that they refund the balance on my Gold Membership for scheduled maintenance. I received an auto reply that they received my message and someone would "respond as promptly as possible." Never received a response. When I finally reached their office several days later to inquire about my correspondence and the lack of a response, I was told they never saw it due to yet another "glitch in the system." Obviously Alpha Air has numerous "glitches in their system" including ineptness and utter incompetence. I will not be using their services any further nor will I in good conscience recommend them to any friends or neighbors.

I called to make an appointment to assess the problem with the HVAC and Jared came. Jared was a professional and provided me the situation and didn't lie to me at all. Jared provided me with all details of his assessment so that I could "possibly" compare with other HVAC companies. Jared never once tried to upsell me only anything and he said the assessment was free. I did call 2 other companies to make an assessment. Both companies provided me with a list of "things" that is wrong with the unit. One of them tried to upsell me a brand new HVAC UNIT and they offer financing. Per my calculation I would be paying $18K for an HVAC unit if I financed with them ($12k for the unit & $6K for interest). I called Jared and asked him to write me an invoice to purchase a new unit, which he did and I was surprised by how much different the cost was (way lower) from the other company. I asked Jared what is the actual total with tax, labor and dumping the old unit....he said "that's the whole total...with delivery, pick-up, removal and installation ". I agreed to the terms and scheduled the replacement. A-Tech team showed up at 8am on the scheduled date and immediately went to work. Jared explained to me the whole process and he even invited me to watch their work. 3 hours later the guys are done, cleaned up and ready for payment - which I was glad to pay in full. The warranty was great! I highly recommended A-Tech to ANYONE needing repair, replacement or even an assessment done to their HVAC system. Brad is a small business owner and employs professionals like Jared! 5 stars for sure!
