I was given an appointment by the service department, after waiting for two days I was anxious to have my AC working correctly. When I got there, my service rep gave me the sad/disappointing news that there is three other customers in front of me, I was shocked! Why would they knowingly do this crap, it's my work truck. I could hav worked that day at least and made money. They've had my truck since Wednesday morning, it's Thursday 3:40 pm, they are still supposedly checking my AC unit on my truck. I am no mechanic, but I know it doesn't take this long to trouble shoot an AC unit. I am pretty sure since my truck is still under factory warranty, anybody else paying via card or cash is put in front of my truck. I will never use Master GMC again. read more

They will gas light you, then ignore you. Philip the service ops manager is rude and unwilling to help at all. He will listen, but not to hear you, only to respond with what he wants you to hear. On an RV cross country trip, realizing we needed a 3/4 ton truck. 2nd dealership we tried was Master. What a great decision! Nicole helped us, and made the entire trade process seamless! We ended up with a gorgeous Ram Power Wagon. Unfortunately the truck had a bad ABS pump, and Nicole wouldn't let us drive out without fixing it. Smart lady. We camped in the back lot overnight, and their go-to shop had the truck fixed by Noon. Nicole and her team all offered help transferring our belongings to the new truck, and Nicole was as accommodating as possible. Best dealership ever! read more

My experience with Masters GMC Buick service department was not positive experience. I made an appointment for 4-21-2025 just but my 2024 GMC truck however had other ideas I went out to start my truck and the dashboard and radio went crazy. The truck would not start it was dead. Had it towed to Masters I was given Bo as my service advisor. Came in with a very dismissive attitude gave me an envelope told me to fill it out instead of just pulling up the workorder that had already been made up. This did not sit well with me but maybe this is how they do things. Then they call me and told me that my truck was ready. I ask what all they do? she told me and when I asked about the battery, she could not tell me. I asked to have the service manager to give me a call. The I got a call from Bo, he gave me a run down I once again asked about the battery he told me that all he got was envelope with my information. I had to remind him that I stood Infront of him so did the tow truck driver and I explained I had an appointment for Tuesday but that the truck died this morning. The tow truck drive also told him the truck had died but finally got it to start. If Mr. Bo would not have been so dismissive in his attitude and took the time to pull up the work order and updated maybe they wouldn't have missed anything. So, I reached out to Service Operations Director (Phillip Towns) now I understand the dismissive attitude, basically what I took away from Mr. Towns if you don't but your truck from Masters then you only get second class service. He told me to take my truck to the dealer I bought it from. What because it is the same distance. Well, its not Masters is three miles from me and Gerold Jones GMC is 24 miles. So, from now on I will drive the twenty-four miles then be treated as a second-class person. And I encourage all my military family here in the Augusta area take that drive to Gerold Jones for service and to buy they will treat you with respect and as if you have always been a customer. read more

Sent my truck here to get a compression test done. They left my truck in pieces outside for an entire weekend during a huge storm with the injectors out and the engine left open to the outside elements. I asked them to get pictures of the inside of each cylinder to ensure me that the engine was t full of water. They said they inspected it and there was no water but could not provide any pictures to show this. Came to get the truck out of this horrible service department today and found now that the interior of my truck is now full of water as well and the interior covered in mold. read more

My 2021 Yukon was serviced by Master GMC with a check engine light. I never received any updates, I had to call the dealership to receive any information. They said the issue was fixed, the check engine light came on again the next day. The service rep said he would talk to the technician about fixing the issue and call/text the next day, I never received any response. I wouldn't recommend Master GMC. read more

So here it is day 4 of waiting to get my wife's vehicle fixed. And each day Gavin gives me the runaround about when my wife's vehicle will be finished. Each day I've been told that it should be finished either by the end of the day or the next morning. I took my vehicle there for skipping & running rough to diagnose the problem but they told me I need $4500.00 in repairs on the front steering !!! Which had nothing to do with the problem I was having . And they said rather Insisted that the part that's not a GM part it's worthless and has to be replaced even though its not causing any problems . My daughter bought her 1st car from Them it was a used Honda Civic 2013 for $10,000.00 and as soon as we drove away after her signing and buying we drove home to grovetown and stopped at Walmart to buy air freshener for her New car and when we started the car up the check engine light came on. Saying check engine check ABS SyStem and check SRS System. We called Nicole who sole us the car and she said oh well there's nothing they can do you bought the car as is. Seriously they sold my daughter a lemon! The light kept coming on and off and we took it to ATC automotive repair and they said the ABS module was faulty and that it comes on every 10 miles driven that the ABS module controls the Safety and Stability operation of the vehicle to drive and respond to the road. That Module and to be installed cost $2000. Master Buick GMC sells lemons and don't care! Sad yo rip off a girl whose buying her very first car! That's pretty LOW! I have had poor service from Master Buick. In August, I took my truck in for a routine oil change. I had an appointment and three hours later my truck was still sitting in the entrance. They said that they saw the truck but did not know what I wanted. They sent me a letter apologizing and wanted me to know that they would give me excellent service when I returned. I called and made an appointment for my 30,000 mile checkup. I arrived at 2:00 and there was only one service rep. I had to wait for the others to finish their lunch. When I was finally waited on I told the rep that I was there for my 30,000 mile checkup. He asked where was my keys. Two hours later the tech said my truck was ready, they had changed the oil. He said your next checkup is the big one, the 30,000 mile checkup. I told him that that was why I was there. I could not believe that once again, they had screwed me over. I will never do business with Master Buick. You would think that since I bought the truck from them that I would have received better service. I came here to check out a truck that I had seen on the website posting. John Lokey was the representative that helped with everything. He was really cool, informative, and professional. He let me and my roommate take the vehicle for a ride out on the town to see how the truck really rode. I was rather shocked that we were allowed to do so without John having to ride along with us. I would it give it less than 1 star if possible, took my brand new truck in today. The AM/FM radio was not working. I bought the truck from Jimmy Britt Chevrolet. Needless to say it was missing the antenae for the radio. they wanted to charge me to replace it, the truck is a 2020 and brand new. After talking with Jimmy Britt, they agreed to just send me one. I went to pick up my truck and they wouldn't give it to me until I paid a $135 diagnostic fee ( just to tell me the antenae was not there). I own a 2018 GMC pickup truck, I took it to Masters GMC for three concerns, transmission mishitting and clunking in to gear, a clicking in the shift lever, and ticking noises in the motor. This service was back in June 2018. During that visit I was told they could not duplicate the problem so it doesn't exist, and the clicking was normal and the engine noise, also normal. Fast forward to July 30, 2018, I scheduled the truck to be returned due to the transmission concerns, I felt they were getting worse. I spoke to the service manager and expressed my concern about being able to duplicate the noises, I was told that his dealership will not touch the transmission unless they can determine the problem through duplication. Aug 2 2018 I called, I spoke to the service writer, he told me that they spoke to the GM service rep and they were told the problems were normal, I asked to speak to the Service manager, I was told that they were unable to duplicate the problem and that he could not fix what was not broke, I explained that I spoke to the makers of the transmission (Alison) and they confirmed that it was not operating correctly. I attempted to convey this information to the service manager and he interrupted me by saying " It sounds like you want the truck to be broke" my thoughts were one of amazement that he would have said something so unprofessional. I told him that I was not happy and that I would be in contact. Following that conversation, I contacted the Owner of Masters GMC, his response was one of no concern and that he needed to talk to the service manager, but reiterated over and over that they would not touch the truck unless GMC would pay for the repairs. I realized the conversation was going round and round and that I was getting nowhere with this person so I hung up and called GMC customer service Ref:# 8-4482777085 and issued a formal complaint. As I submit this I am still waitng for the dealership fix this issue. read more

I want to start out and say that Ryan was excellent. He tried to get my issue handled but could not. My vehicle was in the shop for over a week and was a waist of time. I purchased tires from another GMC dealership that were bad but could get them warranted because I was 20 days past 12 months. Now I am stuck with bad tires that I have to pay to get replaced. GMC has lost a customer with how management has handled my issue. If my tires were old I can see them not being warranted but they are not. I am in the military and between the move to Augusta and getting my family situated could not bring my vehicle in to get checked out then when I do GMC does not want anything to do with it even though it's known for the tires sold to me to have issues to begin with. This will be the last time I step into a GMC dealership to purchase anything or have maintenance done. read more

Lousy service. I brought my Buick in for recall part replacement, it was a holster to hold all the electrical wires for the drivers side seat. When I came in the service manager said it should only take about 45min, well it turned into 3hrs and 45minutes, he actually came to the waiting area and told me they were having a problem getting the part on and working. Needless to say my seat moved forward just fine before the recall and after it acts like a chair lift, but does not move forward. After speaking with the GM he sys its not there fault because they did not touch anything electrical (really) you were housing the electrical wires. Then tell me for 800.00 we can put a new motor in that seat for you. Get out of here, they are more like The Bad News Bears, save yourself from this place read more

At 8am I took my 08 impala in for an alignment. They start making adjustments on the car then they figure they will not be able to finish the car before 12pm (closing). So they get it to what they suggest is safe to drive, and tell me I will have to bring it back during the week, also will not be able to do the alignment for the special that they are advertising for $59.95. I had a scheduled appointment for an oil change at 10:15. The customer service rep stated they were overbooked and it would be a while. The oil change and tire rotation took three hours. My car was not ready until 1:15. I had to wait at the dealership 3 hours for what should have taken an hour or less. The service rep told me to make sure that I rate them satisfactory when I get the survey. I asked if three hours is the normal wait for an oil change. Again I was told they overbooked.
