He 1) showed up 5 mins early for our first meet; 2) provided an estimate the following morning (a Saturday), which I considered to be very fair; 3) scheduled to do the work on the following Wednesday; 4) showed up 5 mins early--8:25am, with a crew of 2, and started work immediately. They trenched the 60' length in the yard, buried the cable, installed the protected outlet on a 4' metal post embedded 24" into the ground with concrete, installed a new 240V 40-Amp circuit in my electrical panel, refilled the trench, raked the grass adjacent to the trench, tested the outlet, and were packed up and departed by 4pm!! They left everything absolutely clean. Matthew is a genuine man of his word. he cares about what he does and wants to please. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY!!

He also tried to increase the original estimate on an additional job by nearly 30% on me. Crazy! I am having to hire someone else to fix his mess. What I shame. I was really looking forward to a good relationship with this local contractor. I would never use him again nor suggest him to anyone else, clearly. I'm glad he did me a favor and never came back to attempt to fix the "Jenky" job. I totally lost trust in his work, sadly.

We worked in a heated attic, I needed a fan to keep him cool, but we got all the wiring done. The fans where installed in a cooler environment, but that attic was super hot. I now finally have a ceiling light in 2 bedrooms that both have fans on them. First time in 35 years of living here. Great job. Might have another job in a few months that might be harder than this one.

He and his employee removed it and failed to cap off a pipe properly, which dripped all night and caused a flood in our house. We had to hire water damage experts to put huge fans into our house for 3 days to dry the damage in kitchen, dining room and basement. Mr. Smith denied that he was at fault and refused to run this through his insurance company. I had to pay an additional $1500 to get all new sub-flooring in the kitchen, due to what was damaged during the flood, new flooring in DR and LR as it was all one connected space. I wish Mr. Smith would do the right thing, admit that an accident occurred, and run this through his insurance company, rather than mine.
