I was looking for a good electrician in the area that would charge me a reasonable price. I have…read morecontacted over 12 electricians and Jim was the most competitive one and even provided free estimates. Several other electrical companies charged over $100 just to come out and do an estimate before even doing any work - I found this to be ridiculous and decided to go with "James Morrow Electrician and Handyman." I can tell you right away that I made a solid decision as that Jim did a great job from the gecko! He was very responsive, professional and explained everything he is going to do over the phone so that I felt comfortable with choosing him as a professional. When he arrived, he was very respectful to the property. He did not mind me watching him install the electrical outlets in my home and explain how the whole system works. Jim did a fantastic job of eliminating one of my existing electrical outlets and moving it up. He also installed a new GFI outlet in my bathroom so that I can hook up my beloved Japan-style bidet toilet. Overall Jim is very knowledgeable and experienced in his electrical work, as well as very meticulous in little details. He takes pride in his job from start to finish to ensure the job is done right the first time. I felt very comfortable with Jim and "James Morrow Electrician and Handyman." Thank you Jim and I will definitely be using this business for any and all the future electrical work around the house. You can be rest assured that the "James Morrow Electrician and Handyman" is on my speed-dial if any future projects or issues arise. I am very glad that I found a local business that I can trust.

I searched for electricians on Yelp, and John was the first to call me back and came out the same day. From start to finish, he was professional, a great communicator, and guided me through each step of the process, including dealing with the inspector and the electric company. His pricing was fair and competitive, and his work was top-notch. If you ever need an electrician, I highly recommend giving John and PA 24/7 Electric a call. You won't be disappointed! A-1, and specifically Bob Oplinger (the owner), was recommended to us by a trusted friend. We were…read morelooking forward to having a good experience with him, so much so that we trusted him to enter our home without us present to find out why our heat/AC wasn't working. Imagine my surprise when we returned home to find our thermostat CUT off the wall and lying on the floor. When we contacted Bob to ask why he had done this, he was very cagey and we felt uncomfortable. After several days, Bob finally called me and said that my system was unsalvageable and would need to be completely replaced. We got a second opinion from a local HVAC repairman who, after spending two hours repairing our thermostat which Bob had broken by cutting it off our wall, found that our problem was a blown fuse and low frion. For a few hundred dollars, our system was working (and continues to work weeks later). The hardest part was repairing the damage that Bob had caused. I do not know enough about HVAC to confidently call Bob a scam artist. However, we trusted him with our home and he came in, damaged our property, and attempted to charge us tens of thousands of dollars more than necessary. I would advise anyone else to steer clear.
