Highly recommended!…read more My parents have been happy and loyal Royal Palm Pest Control customers for years, so when I moved to the area a year ago and was looking for a pest control company, they suggested I give Royal Palm a ring. And I'm so glad I did, for 2 key reasons: 1.) IT WORKS: From a purely functional perspective, the treatment definitely helps keep pests at bay. For the first few weeks after we moved into the house, spiders, ants, and palmetto bugs were nearly everyday occurrences (as they tend to be in Florida). After Royal Palm treated, it felt like we had our house back. We pay for quarterly treatments, and while they offer free interim treatments if we notice an uptick in pests in the home, we've never had to avail ourselves of that offer. If we ever see an insect in the house, it's rare, and they've usually given up the ghost by the time we find them. 2.) CUSTOMER SERVICE IS SPECTACULAR: They always call US to schedule our quarterly treatments, which is a nice perk because I'd never remember. They're always friendly and professional. And our technician (Craig) is a super nice guy. Very efficient, always on time, AND he wears booties over his shoes when he comes into the house, which is such a nice touch. We like to maintain a "shoe-free" home to keep the floors clean, but we don't typically ask guests to remove their shoes because we don't want to make folks feel uncomfortable. So the fact that he wears paper booties over his shoes as a matter of course is just an incredibly thoughtful thing to do. Again, highly recommended!

When they arrived the technician proceeded to violently beat on my door, causing some of my decor to fall off of the wall. When I opened they door, I asked him to not beat on my door so hard as I could hear him from anywhere in my unit. The tech looked me up & down then proceeded to laugh in my face. He pushed past me to begin spraying the kitchen area. He began to misgender me despite all clues pointing to me being trans. (Makeup, breast, demeanor) . He was yelling over me repeatedly saying "YESSIR, YESSIR, YESSIR". At which point I asked him to leave me unit, as I was no longer interested in services. As he is walking by me he laughs in my face & begins yelling "HAVE A GREAT THANKSGIVING SIR & A GREAT CHRISTMAS SIR" I am so disturbed from this experience. At what point do we good people accountable? At what point is this behavior not acceptable?

(Spot treatments by another pest control company had not worked and they kept coming back, and the other company had advised us that they could not tent the house due to technical problems.) Todd took the trouble to fully research the challenges, and figured out a way for the entire house and separate garage apartment to be tented and fumigated. He did an excellent job of arranging for the tenting and personally oversaw the entire job from start to finish (3 days), including personally inspecting the home to ensure that it was OK for us to move back in. He then came back a week later to check in on us, and to check the health of the plants that we had gone to a lot of trouble to save, as some of them had to be tented (they survived thanks to his advice on how to protect them). And all this at a very reasonable price versus other quotes we obtained. Needless to say we were highly impressed with his work, have no more termites, and cannot recommend him enough.

They never put traps in or nothing. Daves puts Traps in. One thing I am not happy about with daves is their scheduling policy. They don't set up a date for your next visit until they get back into the office and a few days before they are due to come they give you a suprise text. If you don't request morning time or afternoon time you are put on an all day wait and when you call to find out what time they are coming the person who answers the phone ( who speaks English with a accent ) doesn't know and says they will call you back and sometimes they don't. If it wasn't for the Techs I'd be somewhere else now. The techs however do a great job. I hope they fix this gargage with the scheduling.
