I think the photo's speak volumes about what the Service Manager did to my backyard lawn when he…read moremixed up a special formula to treat the Dove Weeds. This problem has been going on since 7/27/23, over 4 months! His mixture has killed everything! Don't know if it will ever come back. The Manager was out again to personally treat my lawn on 11/18 and stated he would be in touch with me monthly to keep me updated on the progress. Coincidentally on 12/11, I received a form letter from the Orkin Regional Manager stating that my account has been "transitioned" to TruGreen and to contact them with any concerns. Upon receiving the letter I immediately contacted the Service Manager and left a voicemail for him to return my call. Haven't received a call back as of this posting. They literally dumped my problem onto someone else's lap. This is a problem the Service Manager assured me would be taken care of. Come to find out all along it was lip service. In short I had a beautiful plush, green lawn which is now burnt in spots. I'm thinking it would have been better leaving the Dove Weed alone, at least it was green. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND ORKIN TO ANYONE! I've contacted several consumer advocate organizations in the hopes they can offer me some help.

(Spot treatments by another pest control company had not worked and they kept coming back, and the other company had advised us that they could not tent the house due to technical problems.) Todd took the trouble to fully research the challenges, and figured out a way for the entire house and separate garage apartment to be tented and fumigated. He did an excellent job of arranging for the tenting and personally oversaw the entire job from start to finish (3 days), including personally inspecting the home to ensure that it was OK for us to move back in. He then came back a week later to check in on us, and to check the health of the plants that we had gone to a lot of trouble to save, as some of them had to be tented (they survived thanks to his advice on how to protect them). And all this at a very reasonable price versus other quotes we obtained. Needless to say we were highly impressed with his work, have no more termites, and cannot recommend him enough.

I told the owner I would consider the quarterly treatment after seeing how well it worked. We scheduled a June 11 follow up to kill the newly hatched, or so I thought. It did NOT work. I have baby roaches all over my kitchen. There are still some big ones, too. I called the company and was told that is why I should have bought the quarterly treatment, and I was offered a discount of $65. per quarterly. That's all. Even with quarterly treatment, I would be waiting from May 28 until September 28 until the next treatment. Do the math!
