This company does not stand by their work. They will promise the world, not follow up or return calls. DO NOT sign up with Terminix, they will be sure to charge you but not provide promised services. They will say you were unprofessional even though they do not confirm appointments, show up when they choose, and say contract completed even if you have a track record of dissatisfaction. It's said that they ask the inspector and he denied the issue which is understandable he doesn't want his job at risk but I also don't want to replace something that he broke and he needs to take accountability so that I can have my property that he broke replaced I'm so upset that people still lie instead of being honest when theyve made a mistake read more

They have the worst employees. I had a man break my oven, yell and belittle me, try calling to say he didn't want to come and could I tell him he didn't need too. When you try to call they give you the run around, never escalating to management. They then promise that the man who yelled and threatens you will be taken off your account, but they don't. So he continues to show up at your house and when you try calling to get him removed no one calls you back. Stay away from these people. read more

Where to even begin, I had a negative review up because I couldn't get a call back and I finally had to go up there to get some answers. The next day I was called by dre and he made it seem like my issues were going to be taken care of and asked me to remove my google review so I did. Unfortunately terminix is too cheap to replace a garage door that is unrepairable because it was mounted on wood that termites had been eating. I've had terminix coming out for years to do a so called inspection which clearly they did a poor job because I still had them. Now they are refusing to replace a garage door that has been deemed unrepairable by several garage door companies and multiple contractors. Their technician damaged something at my home and didn't call me until the following day. They also didn't have my inspection scheduled this year not that they do anything anyways, then the sent out a second technician 3 days after the first one for them to do the same thing they never called me before hand just showed up at 8 am and then he tried to argue and say he did call me and then realized he didn't. I had to call over a week before I went into the business to even get and answers about my claim. I've never dealt with a more unprofessional company. Had they been doing their job and not scamming people I wouldn't of had to get this termite damaged replaced because I wouldn't of them. Now their to cheap to fix the repairs don't give them a dime because they won't replace things that the termite damage causes. read more

If I could mark -10 I would. DO NOT ask for rodent control from Terminix in Ormond Beach. Asked for rodent control after rodents destroyed duct work. Inspector came on day it was being replaced......Had my husband sign on tablet. Come to find out, inspector signed us up for pest control only. Called a month later got another inspector for rodents only....he said he'd get back to us. He did not. Called him via his card...he said he'd get right on it. NOTHING was done. Now 3 months later we have rodents inside. The PEST TECHNICIANS are very good (though we didn't want that service) The inspectors are dishonest. read more

We signed up for termite service with Terminix because the previous owner has a termite bond. We have a termite problem in the kitchen, so I called and scheduled a visit. The guy came, used some chemicals, didn't solve the problem at all. There was no follow-up, and when I called, it turned out there is nothing even about this visit in the system. A few months later another guy shows up for the annual inspection, and he did not know anything about this. I reported to him about this again. He said he would report back to the company and someone will contact me. More than one week passed no one called. So I contact this guy again, this time he told me that I have to call it myself. All he could do was left a message and there won't be a record of that. What a joke! So I called, waited for 15 min, then the recording said it's too busy to find someone, and asked me to leave a phone number. I did but no one called back after 3 hours. So I used online Chat. The robot asked for my number, promised to call back in 10 min. Of course, no call ever came. I used the Chat again, finally, just schedule another visit next week. I will have to talk about this problem with someone all over again after half-year. Never seen any customer service as poor as this. read more

A week has passed and still no call back from the Daytona Beach branch about the refund. Used their service last year. The rep charged the renewal for the following year without my permission and took 3 weeks to refund. Also forgot to tell my tenants the combo to get the keys for tenants after the job was done and just left for the day. Now a year later, I got charged the renewal again without my authorization. Called terminix but was told the branch must do it and that they will call me back to take care of the refund. Called early in the morning. No response all day. read more

I signed up for monthly service however due to a medical condition I needed to cancel my services. When I called to cancel I was told that I was under contract, I never agreed to a contract. Also I called since August 24th and spoke to assistant manager and I have yet to hear back from anyone regarding this issue. Also they continue to charge my account $100 per month. Today Sept 15th and I still do not have a solution manager called me it seemed he had no idea what was going on. He was supposed to call me back and I have yet to receive a call back. read more

DO NOT use their services. Tech are friendly but did not treat area with active termite colony. No one explained what to expect and how long chem would take to kill off colonies. This was only done after a month of calls and different answer. Services is way over priced. And "customer satisfaction or your money back".. Is complete bull. Your going to find out the previous statement is true for any other service you could have choose but not the service you actually got and are not satisfied with.. No One seem to have the authority to do this. Its a they do but i don't. So if you choose not to heed warnings best of luck l. Be sure to read all the fine print.. I had an appointment yesterday between 2 and 5 PM, no show and no phone calls!! I canceled an appointment so I could be home when Terminix arrived. I spoke to Thom Terminex when I made the appointment. This morning I called Terminex to find out why they did not show up or call and Thom again told me that the appointment was canceled and rescheduled for tomorrow. I am not taking another day off because I don't know if they're going to show up. I called and spoke to billing and they refused to refer me to a manager to speak with. Therefore I have canceled all services with Terminix and I will go with a family owned company who could probably use the money during Covid!Goodbye Terminex and good luck in the future with such a poorly run the franchise. read more

I paid for my services in full for a discount back in April of 2021 but I continue to receive a bill every month along with phone calls and texts on how I'm past due and even threaten to ruin my credit score so I call every time to give them my confirmation number of my payment and they state that they are sorry and will correct it but they never do ! We bought our house and it had a Termite Bond with Terminix so we kept it and also signed up for the bug service. We did not have any problems with the termite or bug service for nine years. We recently sold our house and needed a termite inspection (WDO) so we called Terminex. They charged us $75 and it was very unprofessional. The buyers were there. The inspector found one insect wing and told started pitching that there was a dry wood termite infestation and the house needed a $3800 tenting and treatment. I tried several times to call the office but you can't talk to a manager. I wanted to complain about the inspection. I wanted to point out that their techs had inspected for termites 4 times a year and never once found ANY signs of termites in NINE YEARS. You have to go through their national call center, wait on hold for up to 20 minutes to talk to an uninterested agent who had to request a call from the local manager. I called three times and never got a call back. We had two other inspection companies who gave us clean WDO reports which satisfied the buyer. You have to prepay a year in advance for termite and bug service The next problem is that after we closed and cancelled we were informed that Terminix does not refund the unused portion of the remaining period. For us this is over six months or about $150. The power company, the gas company, the insurance co, escrow all give refunds. I'll be telling everyone I can about the poor experience with them. read more

Okay...so first of all when I searched on their Web site a couple of months ago there was no option for single treatment. So 2 months after the treatment, spiders and ants are still getting into my house. To have them come out and get rid of them, they charge for an additional visit. Also, if you sign up for the quarterly treatment, you are locked into that for a whole year, no matter what your situation. I recently lost my job and tried to cancel and they told me that I was unable to do so. Needless to say, I will NOT be renewing my contract with them and if I have pest problems in the future, I WILL be calling their competitors to meet my needs. I am on the fence with this company. When I signed up for bug service I also got a "free" termite inspection. The guy gave me literature afterwards for a very expensive termite bond. Bundling their bond with their quarterly spray would cost us $200 a month. I elected to not get the bond. However whenever they come onsite, I get sarcastic guilt trips about being unprotected, their staff bordering on unprofessional behavior. Is the quarterly fee overpriced, at $89? read more

All I can say is I stopped using Terminix years ago. Their "guarantee" and their "coupons" always seem to have caveats. Read between the lines of their contracts and call around to compare contract language and nuances, neighbors.
