I love Daves Pest Control their technicians are top notch. Ever since I hired them I really don't have a bug problem anymore. For years I was using Drakes and they never fixed my problem. They never put traps in or nothing. Daves puts Traps in. One thing I am not happy about with daves is their scheduling policy. They don't set up a date for your next visit until they get back into the office and a few days before they are due to come they give you a suprise text. If you don't request morning time or afternoon time you are put on an all day wait and when you call to find out what time they are coming the person who answers the phone ( who speaks English with a accent ) doesn't know and says they will call you back and sometimes they don't. If it wasn't for the Techs I'd be somewhere else now. The techs however do a great job. I hope they fix this gargage with the scheduling. read more

They have gone down hill! Trying to get your service is such a hassel. They take my money from my account every month and you get one treatment per quarter. Well good luck getting what you pay for. Big mistake going with this company. Don't show up for appointments, but will try to charge you anyway. I contacted the company about the missed appointment. I was told the technician has done the service around 1PM, a lie. I was told by the company they would contact the Tech and call me back within 5 minutes, of course NO CALL BACK. My family and I have used Dave's Pest Control for 15+ yrs. I'm giving a 4-star rating. However, my technician, Marissa should get a 5-star rating as she's always pleasant & professional; has a good knowledge base; answers questions and stays on top of issues. I'm delighted with her service. The reason for 4-star rating is because I'm disappointed with the office/phone service as they've been reluctant to reschedule when work requires me out of town & unable to be home for my appointment; they make you feel like we're interrupting them. Several times they weren't even able to find my account in the system. If you ask to speak with a manager, they act as if they don't understand what you're saying. When calling on the phone, we don't get the great customer service as we've had in the past. But I'm thankful for Marrisa's attentive service on site. read more

I have been using Dave's for over 20 years now! But now your calls go to India! So Yea good luck!!!! I have to fight to get my quarterly treatment! They are paid EVERY month but only come Quarterly. So for the third time they are trying to cheat me out of my quarterly treatment, as twice prior they did not come in the third and fourth quarter before it was up so was pushed into next quarter! So they did not treat me in December they had to come the first week in January as THEY FORGOT to schedule me! So now they are saying I used my first Quarter and want to schedule me for in April the second quarter!!!!! I placed a call and they stated they would call me right back well that has been almost 1 hour ago! Time for improvements and a new company! read more

Literally would go with any other company. I called about some ants on my drive and asked that they come back (In addition they did a crap job the first time) and literally stated it would be an additional charge. The office seems very imcompetent. I have the service for morethan a year. The tech leaves an invoice and I pay it online and on time. But every time, and I mean every time, they call me on the phone the next day wanting a payment because my "card on file is expired." Even though I tell them every time I don't want a card on file just give me the invoice and I will pay it and to stop calling they still call. But they also email, usually twice a day and aslo text about making a payment. This is all within one day of service. So this company is extremely hyper-paranoid about getting paid even from their customers who pay on time every time. When you continue to abuse your customers you won't be in business much longer. read more

This company lived up to their expectation stating, they have a "95% success rate with exterminating ants." In my opinion that is pretty accurate. They are prompt responding to phone calls and scheduling visits. Both technicians Blake and Ben are professional and courteous. Both young men were good at troubleshooting ways to eliminate our ants. read more

Hello, I had initially called Dave's pest control for a one time service and was unaware and not made aware of that. I was being put on a year contract. They charge me $250 for two visits and then moving forward they offered to come out every three months for $120 which is $40 a month. Another thing I did not know was it would be once every three months so essentially getting charged $40 for nothing if I did not use them. Their services were terrible, all they did was spray corners and put down ant traps that did nothing and actually had an increase in pest in my house after their visits. So overpriced and services were bad. Upon cancellation, they informed me that I am obligated to a year contract and that I would have to pay a cancellation fee of $360 in order to cancel. I communicated that I was not aware of a contract, but they implied that I signed and agreed to it even though I did not see it or was told about it. This is a very sneaky and unethical business that overcharges for their services. I'm giving them two stars because their customer service is good. If you won't take it for me, take it from the other reviews. This business is not it, Please look elsewhere. read more

I had numerous issues with recurring pests. They came out numerous times and never fixed the issue. They stated my garage door not seating was the issue! I cancelled the service. The next thing I know a man is here to spray, I stopped before he started because I had cancelled the service, he left. They are trying to charge me for that service even though the guy never sprayed anything. In their ad it states satisfaction guaranteed. They do not stand behind that. They are threatening me with collection now. We had their service for this home over 30 years with no issues. I would not recommend anyone to use there service. Dave's Pest Control arrived at my house when I was not home. The guy walked around the house for literally 2 minutes, spraying into the air, not on the foundation. He sprayed my patio furniture, not the foundation. Then they sent me a bill for $87 for his 2 minutes of non-work which was done improperly It's all on camera. Daves pest control has me on a quarterly plan that charged me $120 every three months or $40 a month. My thought process was they would send a technician out one time a month since I was being charged $40 a month for their service, but I came to find out that they sent a technician out once a month to spray the property and that's the reason I still have roaches ants and wasp. They're gone for a couple days after the visit but they come right back. I called to cancel my service and they told me that I owed $120 from May 31 to June 1 for one service and that is ridiculous, I will ask if I could get Money back since I'd be canceling in June and my next appointment was in August And they refused to even give a discount on the service. They said they would not let me cancel if I didn't pay the $120. This is a complete sham and I would recommend anybody to stay as far away from them as possible.!!! read more

We have used Dave's pest control in the past, they always do a great job. I called them two days ago because unfortunately we had fleas inside of our home because of our cat. Of course they try to talk you into an annual package but I really just wanted to treat the fleas with a one time treatment. In the past the one time treatment included that they would come back up to three times because every 10 days the flea eggs hatch and you would need that. This time they said they would only come back once. They came right out the day I called which I really appreciated. That was two days ago and we still have fleas. I called today and said how long does it take for that spray to work because in the past it usually was immediate to kill the fleas that were alive. They said there's no guarantee that it will work because I bought a one time application. I'm pretty disappointed about that. I thought that the spray would kill the fleas like it did at our other house in the past with Dave's pest control. Like I said before they always do a great job. I also "was" doing business with Dave's Pest Control for the last 8 years. Excellent service and offerings. All of a sudden they changed their application program and never informed me of the change!! It went a yearly cost of $140.00 to a quarterly cost program (which would've cost 3x as much!!). When I called and asked why the change and additional costs they couldn't give me a clear reason or answer, only that the new program was now in place. I have used Dave's pest Control for over 20 years and they are definitely the best in the area. We didn't have any bug issues. When started with them it was just for preventative and what they do works. Maybe once in a blue moon see one but we do live in Florida you are going to see them here and there. And if I feel a need to call for a spray in between my services they come back out and spray the area that I caught one. But I can say never had a problem with bugs or their services. Will continue to keep my service plan and definitely recommend to anyone who is in need of a great pest control. read more

Wow, called them 3 years ago for an insect problem. In the 3 years and 1500 dollars later they NEVER solved or improved the situation. They are masters of BS and customer control, not insect control. I should have realized the BS when their manager was trying to convince me that shooting boric acid thru the outlet holes was spreading the chemical into the wall cavities. I showed him the outlets are sealed. Their trick is to do some minor inside spraying and then leave the bill while they walk outside and treat. Next month when you complain they blame the bugs on the weather. Or your trees. Or your mulch. Or the angle of the sun........ Do yourself a favor, go with one of the national companies or do it yourself. All I can say, is these guys are completely ineffective at insect control but very effective at taking your money. read more

Have had nothing but trouble with them. Salesman never said he was a salesman. Quotes $150 for the office for a one time service. Constantly getting told one thing and it's not correct. Called the office and told them what was going on and was told they would have the office manager call and they called the salesman and he has called twice. I guess he is also the office manager.
