I booked through ClassPass and wasn't even able to get the massage as I couldn't get in touch with someone before my appointment. On ClassPass it says they require you to book through their site. Some places will not see you unless you've booked through their third party website. Confused whether my reservation was actually taking place, I tried calling and texting as it was a holiday weekend and I wasn't sure if they were even open. I received no response so I did not make the trip during my reservation time. I was then called by them after my appointment was set to start and was asked if I could get there then. I received hostile attitude when I explained what happened and the person insinuated that I planned on missing the reservation I made? Not sure why I would do that but I was told I would be charged for the missed appointment. After speaking with ClassPass, that did not happen but this was a headache I didn't need. I recently received a massage from this location. It was very confusing from the start because as advertised was a different massage company but the sign in front of the building says Massage Reset. I wanted to leave a review, then noticed the therapist who had worked on me isn't licensed through the photo posted on the front page. I would like to clarify why you would allow a therapist who currently isn't licensed to perform services. It's unfair to have paid for this treatment and would like to know who is liable and would like to request a refund ASAP! Where do I start? I bought a Groupon for 3 massages thinking it was a great deal. After the first experience with Albert, I regretted my purchase. I get massages quite frequently, so I do have a lot under my belt. A friend of mine got a massage there and told me about how awful it was, but little did I know when I purchased the Groupon that it was the same place. Albert is a heavy breather - borderline moaning when he massages. It was kind of uncomfortable and awkward. Also, he has very hairy arms and uses them a lot more than most massage therapists and it almost feels like a Brillo pad is exfoliating rather than massaging. The massage was supposed to be a one hour "relaxation massage" but it was far from relaxing bc he talked the entire time. He was mainly thinking out loud saying things like "I need to put more lotion." "Oh that's too much lotion." "I'm gonna massage this part or that part." "I'm just gonna move the blanket here". "I'm gonna put your arm right there." "There, that feels looser". And he literally walked me through every single step of the massage like he was a student being observed for a test. Not sure why he couldn't just massage me without telling me every single detail of he was doing. On my last visit his stomach was grumbling the entire time, which I could have easily ignored except for the fact that he said out loud "oh my stomach is grumbling." The massages were anything but relaxing. Then he kept on harping about this one course he took in Seattle. One course! I should hope as a clinician/practitioner, that you take more than just one course to keep updated on trends and studies in your scope of practice. As a medical professional, I'm continually taking classes online or attending inservices and lectures to stay up to date in my specialty. I explained to him that I have radiculopathy and my fingers go numb bc of it. Even though I explained what it was, he still asked how my hand issue was, even though the issue wasn't my hands/fingers, it was my neck. So I had to educate him again on what it was. Again, as a massage therapist, one should know about these conditions. What's customary at the end of every massage, therapists give the client a cup of water or at least advise them to make sure they consume a good amount of water. Albert just ended the massage and stepped out. No water, not even advising me to drink anything. He even tried to talk me into purchasing a 90 minute massage, even though I had already purchased three 60 minute sessions. For my second and third appointments, he started late. He showed up literally right when the massage was scheduled and we didn't get started until after the scheduled time. I decided to set a timer and on my last massage, from the moment I disrobed to the moment I got off the table; my stop watch recorded 47 minutes. I definitely got cheated 15 minutes of massage on my last visit and at least 10 minutes on my second visit. I even took a photo as walked out of the room of the clock showing 11:52, (posted on my review). Definitely not the full hour I paid for! He was in such a rush to end my second appointment that I actually stopped him in the hallway (as he was trying to leave out the back door) to give him his tip, otherwise he would have ran off without one! Needless to say, there wasn't a tip for the last visit considering I only received 75% of what I paid for, I actually should be receiving a refund. Finally, he asked questions through entire massage. Because I divulged that I work with pro athletes for a living, he tried to leverage my professional sports connections to get work asking where he can reach out and how he can get "in" with these pro athletes. Anyone who felt relaxed after a massage from Albert has obviously never received a massage from another professional massage therapist. I wouldn't have gone back after my initial visit had I not purchased a 3 visit Groupon package. Can not wait to get a real relaxation massage next week. LMBO read more

Do not go there. Firstly, the masseuse Albert is an odd duck. I showed up only 5 min before my scheduled appointment. He acted like I was an hr early; he wasn't ready. He Kept complaining about it so much ( my early arrival)I spoke up and said at this point , I'm now two min early, ( massage at 2, it was now 1:58) that usually masseuses & spa type companies want you ten min early to fill out papers & it's only two min before and I'd need to disrobe still ---I promise it's not early. There was a mix in up in our first appointment time but he was quick to fix it and very nice about it. It's not your typical massage that you would find at a Massage Envy but it is what I needed. My joints feel more relaxed and I walked out with less pain and relaxed which normally I just leave a place relaxed. If you're looking for pain relief then I would recommend him. read more

Albert has completely changed my world since seeing him for massage therapy. I have a number of chronic issues I've been dealing with as a former Ballet/Modern dancer such as back, hip, neck and shoulder pain and they have been significantly relieved since getting massages with him. I've also suffered from vertigo for over 4 years which can make treatment from anyone be intimidating but every single pain, ailment or issue that I go in with is carefully considered when he plans how the treatment will be. Albert is extremely unprofessional. It took me two weeks simply to reach him to set an appointment. Appointment was scheduled today for 11:30. I showed up and he was giving someone a massage with the door open so anyone could walk into their appointment and said he'd be right with me. He had no appointment written down for me. I showed him my phone and reminded him we scheduled for today since he's leaving the country and he suggested 2:30.
