I have back and neck problems and have gotten at least one massage a month for the last 10+ years. For the last several years, Lucky is the only therapist I've gone to. She's consistent, understands anatomy and musculature, and she tailors the massage to your needs. I prefer medium-pressure Swedish style, but shes versatile and she'll supplement with some stretching or even walking on your back if you request it, and I've enjoyed the therapeutic value of both of those things on occasion. She's a very capable massage therapist, and for me, her massages are the perfect blend of bodywork and relaxation. The facilities are clean, and the front desk staff is consistently friendly and helpful. I've been to this spot since it was called The Massage Place, then The Massage Hub, and now Massage One Wellness. I purchase massage packages to take advantage of the package discount, and I've never had any issues with them honoring my package when they've changed the store name. I see some reviews where gift cards weren't honored; maybe it's a physical gift card instead of the packages purchased at the front desk? I always pre-buy the package when I'm checking out, and the package is then digitally associated with my account. If you're looking for a quality massage for a fair price, try Lucky at Massage One!

Janet was the staff member who helped me and she was amazing! I haven't been able to stop talking about it since i went. Got a last minute walkin appt. I think I got lucky. I had such a great experience, that I'm counting the days till I go back. Im definitely going to bring my friends. If youre in need , just go. Its so worth it.

My masseuse had me then lay on my side and massaged the back and switched sides. It was my first time and I will go back again! Very happy to have it in the neighborhood!

After a few minutes of waiting, I was checked in and opted for the Signature Package (foot soak, full body massage, and foot reflexology). The Vibe & Setup If you're looking for a private, candle-lit spa room, this isn't quite that. The back area is a large, open floor plan divided by curtains, with two beds per section. A heads-up for first-timers: this is a "clothes-on" massage. It was my first time at a spot like that, which was a bit of a surprise! The Massage Quality The experience started with a nice soak, but the actual massage left something to be desired: - Zero Communication: My therapist didn't check in once to ask how I was doing or if the pressure was to my liking. - Pressure Was Too Light: I personally prefer a firmer touch, and this felt very "surface level." I walked in with a lot of tension in my neck and shoulders, and unfortunately, I walked out feeling that same stress. - The Highlight: I will say my feet felt significantly better afterward! The reflexology portion was definitely the strongest part of the service. Final Verdict Overall, it was a "just okay" experience. While the foot massage was a win, the lack of communication and the weak pressure on my back and shoulders made it hard to fully relax. In an area with so many competitive massage spots, I'm not sure I'd prioritize a return trip her

There is parking on the street on the curb in front of the storefront. It is only a couple of bucks. My first experience with a head spa was in Japan. The experiences were very similar. You are given a silk kimono to wear. After sitting down, you get a full visual of your hair and scalp. Whoever is helping you that day will give you a breakdown of what was seen and what will be done to treat your hair/scalp. The massage and washing of your head/hair is very therapeutic and relaxing. After your session, you revisit your hair/scalp and you can see the changes from a 60 minute treatment. You are also given a cup of yummy tea and a snack if you'd like. Overall, my experience was great. They make an emphasis on feeling relaxed and rejuvenated and i definitely felt that way after. I will definitely be back and recommend it.

I've had a Japanese head massage/scalp eval at a different location (different folks completely), and loved it, so I had very high expectations here. All in all - this 60 min experience was a glorified hair wash. Maaaaybe about 20 min in the middle was a really wonderful scalp massage, but it was pretty much just A TON of rinsing out my hair. Back and forth, a shampoo, steaming, rinse with this and that, then rinse rinse rinse rinse. The massage was so nice - and brief in the scheme of things - and then more shampoo (or treatment or something) and rinse rinse rinse. Then rinse rinse rinse rinse with a different technique. My hair is long, not absurdly long, and on the thicker side; I don't know if this was too much? A small thing that also would've been nice is being told what each item or step was; there was an awkward several minute pause in which my hair was "steaming" and I wasn't sure why nothing was going on and had to ask. I had told my masseuse specifically as well that I had a neck spasm, asking if she would work on my neck at all; wasn't sure if that was part of the scalp massage. She said yes and I got a few pats on the traps during the massage. What bothered me the most though, was the somewhat rapid jerking of my head off the bowl for different elements of the shampooing and rinsing - this did NOT help my neck. All in all - on their website on the front page it says "About our spa: deep scalp & neck myofascial release". I just don't feel like this accurately reflects what went on in 60-70% of my hour-long massage, which was, again, a fairly well-marketed hair wash/rinse. With that description - and price ($160 for an hour) - I want a head, scalp, and neck massage, not a hair wash. The studio is very clean and well-kept, with pleasant decor and music.

Dr Shi is a wizard. No, a fairy. No, a healer. Yes, definitely a healer…read more Although A Beautiful Day Spa is well known for their massage treatments, the well-kept hidden secret is Dr. Shi. Dr. Shi has been practicing acupuncture for decades. Dr. Shi can speak some English, but is fluent in Mandarin. As a patient who speaks some Mandarin, I'm fortunate enough to learn that Dr. Shi travels to give speeches in China and he continues to learn the arts of healing. Dr. Shi is an unorthodox acupuncturist in which his methods are not just sticking needles in your body. He asks your body to change the tendons, the muscles, the bones, the fascia, and even the skin. And yes Dr Shi talks to your body, it's so strange (I know), but he can find where the source of your pain is from and he tries to find the root cause of the pain so he can transform your body. Even if I don't tell him I have pain in a specific area, he will find out after assessing your body. As someone who suffers from multiple injuries, my chronic pain and musculoskeletal problems caused migraines, dizziness and pain with movement. I saw renowned acupuncturists twice to three times a week for three months and my symptoms never improved significantly enough to go about my daily life. I saw Dr. Shi for one month, twice a week and my headaches and dizziness improved right away. My range in motion also increased with less pain. Additionally, my stiffness and deep pain lessened. So why the magic... okay, I get it. You need a concrete example. I have a painful bump in the back of my head, it was about 2inch so not too big, but pressing on it caused migraines and shooting pain down my neck and spine. Dr. Shi placed acupuncture needles in my body, asked me to do some strange movements, and in three sessions the spot was less tender and I no longer have shooting pain down my neck and spine. This was also combined with Western medicine. It's not completely gone because he explained that healing is treatment, time, taking care of yourself, staying warm and moving correctly. I also like the way Dr. Shi inserts and takes out the needles. He prepares your body and gently inserts the needles. If it will be a painful spot, he will guide you on how to lessen the pain for that acupoint. I am excited that the acupuncture clinic will be opened soon. This way, Dr. Shi can help more people.

The receptionist confirmed that they had someone who had the strongest therapist booked for my mom and I had nothing to worry about. However, my mother told me there was barely any pressure even when she inquired they said that strong, deep pressure would be an extra charge. Which is fine, however, it seems that they just gave her light strokes throughout. She wanted to walk out mid-session but chose to stay to see if there would be any improvement but there was none. We would not recommend this place. Update: Dustin tried offering us 30% off for us to come back.. doesn't seem like a good/decent solution to anything. We declined and still would not recommend this place.

The facility is exceptionally clean and simple. It's very clear to see that they are very proactive about achieving cleanliness in the massage room. Each area is divided by thick white curtains, providing just enough privacy from others. The massage itself was great, especially for the price. They make sure to take care of every area. I keep a lot of tension in my shoulder and jaw area, but my masseuse was able to address it. The massage was definitely worth it. They also do add ons for hot stones or cbd oil as well!
