Oftentimes the staff are yelling to each other from room to room which definitely takes away from the experience. Mary beat me up! It's so hard to find a budget friendly massage that hits hard but Mary delivered. I got the deep tissue and am writing this freshly in my car because I was so impressed. I will say in the past I wasn't a fan of the "walking on the back" thing - consider me converted. She hit lots of tough spots especially in my legs and like connective areas (like muscles around the knee joints, shoulder joints, connective areas in the back and shoulders). Fantastic massages for the price here at Rainbow Massage Spa. My husband and I have been here a handful of times. We've been particular about pointing out problem areas, like neck strains or tight calves, and the masseuses have generally been able to pay attention to those areas. Most recently my masseuse "Mi" was great, and I think Linda in the past was also excellent. My husband had a male masseuse who was pretty intense in terms of the pressure and that was a slightly subpar massage, along with my first massage (which seemed to be kinda rote and less individualized). However, other than these two massages, all the others have been excellent, and well worth the $60 for an hour. We've found it's been helpful to have an appointment too. FYI extra charge for using a credit card which does rub me the wrong way a bit. Whatever; it's still a great deal. Decent parking out front but it can be hard to find parking during busy hours. I was looking forward to having my massage done in this place with my 3 sons on Mother's Day. I called the place, the receptionist said, I shouldn't buy Groupon but rather pay her directly instead, which I've agreed on. I've accepted the appointment times she gave me, and asked for a text confirming the times and price. I kept calling 3 times, every time she said, she would call back but never did. Eventually, she said "I will make an appointment for you temporarily. If there is a conflict with the guests who have made appointments online, I will tell you in advance. Thank you!" I asked, if she could guarantee my times, since I spoke to her first, she said, that isn't possible. Looks to me, as she is getting better price when people book on line, she doesn't like to Groupon discounts and is trying to see, how to get a better offer for herself disregarding the costumer. When we arrived they said they would not honor the Groupon price because it was "too cheap". They threatened us and said we had to pay more and pay for a longer service if we wanted to be seen today. Really bad. Got massaged for about 30 out of 60 min. The rest of the time the woman was in and out of the room looking for things she couldn't find. I think they may have been short staffed and I got the front desk employee. She barely touched me. Just kept answering the phone and brushing my hair and leaving the room rummaging for items. I paid for a 60 min Thai massage and got a 30 min session of having lotion put on me then wiped off. to make matters worse they couldn't figure out the credit card machine either (it was unable to read my chip) and the guy started yelling "NO MONEY! NO MONEY!" At the top of his lungs. I tried to explain "no it can't read the chip see here where is says chip not read?" And he just kept yelling "NO MONEY! "it was so ridiculous at this point I was trying not to laugh, so I had to go get cash, with the same card, and come BACK to pay for the disappointment. Tried to contact the owner via phone and email to settle it politely but never received a call or email back. Language barrier is totally acceptable and understood. But the staff was rude and I could not get out fast enough. I did a walk-in 60-min deep tissue massage and it was OK.. a lot of elbows but not necessarily in the right locations to get deep into the tissue. The head massage part I felt nails digging into my scalp and I feel like it broke skin in multiple areas. I also had chunks of hair coming out after the massage. Towards the end in the 'wake up' phase where you usually get patted awake, I felt like I was being aggressively slapped awake. $60 for 60 min is good, but I tried to pay a $10 cash tip, and the woman aggressively pointed at a tip chart and said it was a $15 minimum tip, trying to pressure me into tipping more. Here I am thinking tips are optional and provided based on satisfaction with the service and that $10 was very generous all things considered. Overall not a relaxing experience at all. read more

Oh let me tell you, this place is absolutely worth it! I'm in the area for a school conference. I have been flying back and forth between Hawai (Oahu and Maui), California (Oakland, San Jose, and Burbank), Texas (Dallas and Amarillo) just this month alone, and being on the plane for so long and so frequently is definitely a neck and back killer. My neck and shoulders were killing me so I had to get a massage. I found several nearby but this one caught my name since I'm from Hawaii and rainbows are everywhere. Anyway, I called about an hour and a half before they closed and there were able to fit me in. Thank goodness! When I got there it was a small and cozy place, but most importantly, it was clean. I got the 30-minute body massage and the 30-minute foot massage. The massage was amazing! I felt so relaxed after the massage and most of all my neck and shoulders did not hurt anymore and I was relaxed. It could also be because they used CBD oil on me. I don't want to give the CBD oil all the credit though. Even today, (the next day) I am still feeling good. I will be back toward the end of my conference. read more

I tried a four hand for 90 minutes the ladies were sisters. I'm not into a hard massage but perfect pressure and they worked out all the stress. I went in this past Sunday... it had been a long time since i had my last massage... Sophia took care of me... she has amazing hands and feet. There where several interruptions, and Sophia needed to step out to address other customers. While her massage skills' where amazing... all the interruptions made me feel a little frustrated...told Sophia i was not happy with all the interruptions, she immediately apologized and informed me that Sunday afternoons are usually really busy and sincerely apologized again, however, not only did she apologized but offered extra time to make up for all the interruptions. To her credit, no more interruptions and i enjoyed the rest of my time and the extra time in Sophia's expert hands. Her Thai Massage was one of the best i have ever received felt my knots melt away and her customer service is also great. Went here for an impromptu massage- the massage was honestly fantastic but a few minutes in I couldn't even enjoy it because of moans coming from one stall- then once those stopped , a man kept grunting and moaning and you could hear the bed shaking , from a different stall. Once he was done , the lady asked him if he 'had a good time ,' to which he said yes . He left , then she then came in my stall and was counting money on my feet as I was laid down under the sheets . This was a different woman from the one who was massaging me. They chatted a little , then the other lady left. Then , the moans from the other stall further away kept going . While I am hesitant to say anything to potentially hurt someone's livelihood, and because I didn't actually see anything , it was an extremely stressful and traumatizing experience that I think is worth warning others about. read more
